23/03/2024: Restaurant found by chance very close to the Duomo and a few steps from Piazza del Campo. Excellent quality food, very kind staff and a very nice place. The desserts are definitely a gem and they really impressed us. Fair prices in line for staying in the center of Siena. I highly recommend.

03/04/2024: Scam with menus displayed on their site which do not exist. The waiter refused, indicating that the menus must be reserved because they require more preparation time. The price is therefore higher to eat the same thing. However, the dishes were good and well served but nothing exceptional.

06/04/2024: We are delighted with our dinner at the La Finestra restaurant. The food was excellent, very tasty, with efficient and pleasant staff, in a traditional Siena setting. In addition, the price was very reasonable for the quality. We recommend without hesitation. And we will come back tomorrow!

29/03/2024: We didn't like it at all. We ordered pasta for the first course and meat for the second. The food was just ok. To be honest, not worth the price. The sauces seemed industrialized and the cheese was served in sachets. There are many other restaurants in Siena where one can eat good and authentic pasta.

22/02/2024: Non è la prima volta ma anche oggi al top, cinghiale in dolce e forte e crostone di tartufo e gorgonzola veramente sublime, che dire…. Non fa mai fare brutta figura a chi ci porti. Prezzi giusti

06/02/2024: In questo locale si mangia e si beve divinamente, salumi e formaggi ottimi, vino rosso fantastico, pici spettacolari, trippa alla senese molto buona e per finire dei dolci da leccarsi i baffi. Una vera osteria che non avevo il piacere di ritrovare dagli anni ottanta. Abbiamo avuto un'accoglienza fantastica da tutti. Se siete a Siena, vale la pena andarci. Io ci sono stato con la mia dolce metà e sua sorella (mia cognata), prezzi onestissimi per la qualità e per la passione di tutto il personale. Grazie Alessandra, ci rivedremo. L'aretino

06/04/2024: Discovered this gem when visiting Siena. We walked past it, and it looked so good, we had to circle back. A wine bar with amazing, delicious food. We had a red wine tasting, and had two soups - vegetables & tomato. It was a cold day - and this was exactly what we needed. We were there just after lunch time, and didn't want to eat too much - but all around us tables were filled with incredible looking and smelling food. Wine was delicious - had an amazing red. Btw, the wait staff is incredibly sweet, accommodating and so beautiful! A true Italian treat!

15/02/2024: An excellent restaurant in the old town of Siena. I took the poached egg and the beef fillet steak. Both dishes were very tasty, especially the steak. Service was very good and fast. Highly recommend!
