22/07/2025: At Re di Macchia restaurant, I drank the famous local Brunello red wine, paired with delicious steak and pasta. Even the bread before the meal was delicious. It was a perfect meal. The friendly service staff and the high-end and elegant decoration of the restaurant made it a very enjoyable experience.
21/07/2025: Great restaurant. Gluten free options and very careful about the preparation. Nice staff. Reasonable prices.

08/08/2025: It's one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at, and I've been to quite a few. Everything was excellent, especially the ravioli with ragù and the braised beef, but let's not forget the pinci all'aglione and the wild boar, and the refreshing ricotta dessert. Everyone was also very kind and professional, but without any of the formalities that I personally dislike. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

30/06/2025: Nous avons dîné dans un cette bonne osteria située dans la rue principale de Montelcino jusqu’à côté des remparts. Très bon accueil, prise de commande rapide et très bons plats de pâtes. Nous avons pris en entrée un assortiment de charcuteries italiennes et ensuite des pinci à la bolognaise et à la chapelure et en dessert une panna cotta à la pistache. Super adresse en toute simplicité et avec de bons plats typiques toscans. Je recommande

25/07/2025: The first ones we ordered were quite good, when you order the meat they tell you that the minimum is one kilo and when they serve it to you what it appears to be is less than a kilo, the flavor is nothing despite the maturation indicated on the menu, the vegetables are not worth it, the small quantity and variety. The service wants to remove the plates before all the diners finish.
18/07/2025: Wonderful staff. We're doing the Margherita tour of Italy. Which means our teenagers only eat Margherita pizza at ristorantes and pizzeria. Today's interpretation slots into top 2 after 7 days of pizza. Pasta with truffle was absolutely gorgeous 😍

28/07/2025: Quaint and rustic. We were looked after by the personable and very obliging and helpful Ivan. Our visit also included a wine-tasting of biodynamic wines. Perfect for a Steiner educated family 🥰 Morizo was our wine guide who schooled us on Brunello and Rosso. We are absolute philistines and knew nothing about this type of wine. So this added to our southern hemisphere repertoire of Pinot Noir and Barossa valley reds.
22/06/2025: A typical Tuscan 17th century farmhouse, truly enchanting immersed in the hills surrounded by expanses of vineyards. In the park there is an area equipped with a beautiful swimming pool, deck chairs and sun loungers. With some friends we also booked a wine tasting including Brunello di Montalcino. The owner, very helpful and kind. We spent a weekend in the name of peace, tranquility and love for this corner of paradise.
