04/07/2026: The restaurant is very nice and cozy, the people who work there are very nice and treated us well. The food came quickly, and it was clearly home made, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is light but happy at the same time. I strongly recomend this restaurant to families, couples and individuals who want to have a memorable dinner.

True Italianness and local specialties.
Usually, in historic and crowded places you find touristy places, but here you can savor authentic flavors, cooked with care and passion.
The place and the flavors took me back in time, to my childhood.
It's hard to find places as authentic and cared for as these these days, from the evocative retro location to the fresh flowers on the table. As for the food, what can I say? 10 out of 10.
We had two first courses, a pinci with wild boar and tagliolini with nettle and arugula pesto, and for the second course, a guinea fowl with vin santo and a sliced steak.
A cool, quiet place, ideal for enjoying a good lunch or dinner with friends.

12/10/2025: Welcoming and well-organized location. On a sunny day like the one we just had, it's a worthwhile place, nestled in a totally relaxing square. The service was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent! We each ordered various dishes, which we then sampled... Really good!!! Portions were decent. The price tends to be high for the simplicity of the dish itself... But it's still worth it. The Florentine steak was wonderful!!! You can't miss it.
I recommend it! Excellent place

06/08/2026: An absolute must on any visit to Montalcino – really good, down-to-earth food and a great selection of wines by the glass. Reservations are highly recommended – it's popular with locals and, of course, tourists like us.
04/08/2026: We had a wonderful evening at this small, family-run, traditional restaurant.
The food was delicious and the service relaxed yet very professional.

We stopped for a quick lunch!
The food is good and the value is equally good.
The service was a little slow, but that's probably due to the many tastings available. The waiters were very kind and helpful.
I tried some aged cheeses (naturally lactose-free), which were delicious.

10/04/2026: This was surprisingly forgettable. Not awful or bad, just not memorable at all.
Our waiter was probably 14 years old. Really. It was cute because it's a family run place. When I asked him for a Brunello recommendation, he had an answer with confidence, but that wine turned out to be pretty whimsy (no body) especially for a Brunello. He spilled it when he poured, and had the social skills of an eighth grader, naturally.
Carpaccio was pretty good and quite generous. Bruschete was kind of bland. Margherita pizza was fair (by Italian standards). Pana Cotta was quite good.
We appreciated very much that they had about a dozen wines sold by the glass. Prices were reasonable.
