17/05/2025: Menu with a good amount of options, including a good range of meat types. Excellent advice regarding the cooking of the meat. I would recommend cooking the pasta a little less for the first courses, ours was a little overcooked, but the sauces are very good. The only downside was the wait for the first courses to arrive, we waited more than 20 minutes.

17/05/2025: We returned after a year and found the quality of the food and the level of service that had struck us the first time. The place is immersed in a spectacular olive grove. We will definitely return.

30/05/2025: I came to Bolgheri for the first time and had dinner at this restaurant with friends. The food is really excellent, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the service is courteous and precise. Definitely an experience to repeat!

What amazed us most was the care and quality of the dishes: simplicity of the raw materials for truly refined flavors. Noteworthy wine selection and delightful staff. 07/06/2025: We hebben hier met ons gezin gegeten en genoten van het prachtige uitzicht en de ontzettend vriendelijke service. De vrouw in de bediening begreep ons niet altijd even goed – we hadden onze bruschetta graag als voorgerecht gewild, maar deze kwam tegelijk met het hoofdgerecht. Geen ramp, dat kan gebeuren. Qua eten vonden we de ribbetjes en worstjes wat aan de eenvoudige kant. De lasagna en Toscaanse spaghetti voor ons zoontje waren prima in orde. Over het algemeen is het eten prima, maar niet bijzonder. Wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, is de kindvriendelijkheid. Er is leuk speeltuintje aanwezig, waar je vanaf je tafel goed zicht op hebt. Ons zoontje van 1,5 kreeg zelfs zijn eigen kinderbestek – heel attent! Er werd zelfs spontaan speelgoed naar hem toe gebracht. Geweldig! We hebben geen stilzitter, dus voor ons was dit een ideale en ontspannen plek om als gezin te eten. Alleen al voor de sfeer, het uitzicht en de kindvriendelijkheid komen we hier graag nog eens terug.

07/05/2025: The location helps this little town tavern a lot which presents itself as a trendy grill restaurant, a little outside the box...forget the fundamental rules of welcoming good food and settle for burnt meats, lukewarm wines and an environment bordering on filthy.....ah, yes...the steak is not native...I usually eat Ori and I know the difference!!

22/04/2025: You should put the same effort you had into denigrating vegetarians and vegans to instead find a reason why people should come to your place. Rest assured that vegans don't even think about approaching your restaurant without the need for 'vegan stay away from me' or 'the florist is in Donoratico' signs. The really sad thing is that you think you're funny too...

22/05/2025: Disappointing experience and lack of transparency in prices Today we went to La Bottega di Elena in Bolgheri and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We ordered two glasses of different wines, without any accompaniment, and we ended up paying 33 euros. On the menu the wines were listed at a price that turned out to be practically half of what we were charged. When we asked for clarification, we were told that we had been served a double dose (a whole glass instead of a half), but none of us had asked for a double glass. I find it unfair that such a choice is made without asking the customer for confirmation. This lack of transparency ruins the experience and leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. I would not recommend it: in Bolgheri there is so much to offer, it is better to opt for places that are more correct and clear towards customers.

18/05/2025: We had an excellent pork fillet with porcini mushrooms on top. Very tender meat, it was delicious
