13/03/2026: Clearly seen better days. A huge wine list where seemingly half of the selections are sold out. Dishes were never more than tepid and many felt seriously dated. The staff tried hard and were very friendly if a bit overmatched.

15/03/2026: From the outside and the reviews, I thought it was a less touristy place, but I was wrong. Small and touristy, but poor quality. We ordered two starters, where the pasta was overcooked and tasteless, a meat-based main course, the only good thing being the good-quality cherry tomatoes, and a dessert that, at the end of the meal, was decent. The price was over €20 per person, which was excessive for the quality of the ingredients.

13/03/2026: The waiter (I think Luigi himself) was super friendly and made for a very pleasant dinner. Not only were we served very well, but the food was also really delicious! Definitely recommended!

01/03/2026: I'll be honest: if you're looking for hearty food to fill your stomach, don't go there. The food here is truly excellent; the fish is top-quality, the wine is delicious, and the staff is kind and courteous. They even offered us dessert. We had a great time, and the atmosphere was heavenly. Again, if you don't appreciate good food, please go to Mac. Leave it as the gem it is.

07/03/2026: A very unique restaurant located inside a cave, with excellent taste that creates a very comfortable atmosphere. Excellent dishes made with local products, where you can taste all the flavors and aromas of Sicily. Congratulations, excellent dinner.

15/12/2025: We were there yesterday, we were on a trip to Scicli, the place is a bit small, but very welcoming, and above all clean, we were more than 50 people and yet every time we went to the bathroom it was always clean, the staff were too friendly especially Guglielmo who welcomed us with a smile, very patient and kind with all of us, but especially with my husband who targeted him by pestering him but obviously joking and Guglielmo was in on the joke, too kind and professional really

26/10/2025: The food was exquisite Pastas with sweet ricotta are delicious , I recommend the appetizers, they are super delicious. The waiter is super friendly and nice, he speaks several languages making things easier. The place is very well decorated and I think the cat theme is a very good idea.

19/03/2026: Our Visit to I Banchi in Ragusa On a quiet Wednesday lunchtime, we visited I Banchi in Ragusa. The restaurant was pleasantly empty, which immediately created a relaxed atmosphere. The owner greeted us with a warmth that has become rare – attentive, but never intrusive. The two staff members worked with a calm and collected demeanor that was contagious. We opted for the set lunch menu at €35 per person. Every bite was a delight – the food was simply sensational. The service was perfectly coordinated: present when we needed anything, but always maintaining the right distance to allow us to enjoy our lunch undisturbed. The restaurant itself is spacious – whether inside in the stylishly furnished room or outside, there's always a spot that invites you to linger. The hour-long drive there was worth every minute. We weren't disappointed – on the contrary: it was a lunch we'll remember for a long time.

01/03/2026: A small restaurant in lower Modica, nestled in the side streets. The vintage, old-fashioned setting is charming. The food is excellent in its various options. The place is clean and welcoming. After a few years, I returned and was very disappointed. Meanwhile, the menu has been reduced to a limited selection of appetizers, and half-and-half first and second courses have disappeared. Appetizers are served on a single plate, with one piece of everything, like goldsmith's shop... a plate with four ravioli and about twenty cavati, even though the sauce was good. The boiled meat was enough to throw against the wall to play ball. The meat in the sauce was quite good. Then I saw the waitress take the quarter-liter bottles of wine and fill them almost secretly from a cardboard jug, passing it off as local wine. Drinks, desserts, and coffee were not included. In short, make your appointment and go to sleep... but for me, that's not the case. Poor.

18/02/2026: A very typical restaurant, not very beautiful, and prices are high compared to other nearby places. Very touristy and often crowded. The typical appetizer is expensive but decent, without any real specialties. Try the "Lolli con le fave," made in the old-fashioned way. The meats are good, but the portions are sometimes on the small side. Good service.
