30/06/2024: Very elegant hotel that recalls the features of the old farms. I stayed in the luxury suite, truly exceptional atmosphere. Also tried the starred restaurant, ate very well. Excellent customer care. Recommended if you pass through Ragusa

14/07/2024: L'esperienza sultano ti colpisce e ti rimane nel cuore non solo per il straordinario cibo ma tutto il contorno che fa davvero che Ciccio sia veramente il sultano ,andati io e mia moglie per il nostro anniversario di matrimonio a pranzo,con grande soppresa veniamo accolti dallo chef presente anche durante il pranzo,saletta elegante e tavolo rotondo degno di un pranzo speciale noi ci ha coccolati Marta cameriera esperta che non ci ha fatto mancare nulla e piatti spiegati perfettamente ,entre strepitoso come anche i grissini e il pane acconpagnati da olio e burro affumicata,tutto ottimo a voglio mensionare le busiate alla.palermitana cotte nell acqua dello sgonbro e l,agnello consigliato direttamente dallo chef che con gentilezza si e presentato nel.nostro tavolo piatto. Che vale le due stelle .cassata straordinaria,unica e un altro dolce offerto dallo chef dopo aver saputo della nostra ricorrenza. Grazie a tutti voi

13/07/2024: Extraordinary experience, the best lunch of my life, upon entering it was a pleasure to immediately meet the chef who was also present during the culinary journey, after the restaurant manager made us sit in a welcoming and elegant room Marta welcomed us and took care of us and pampers us in this lunch for our anniversary, bubbles, breadsticks to start accompanied with bread made by them with oil and smoked butter small but intense in flavor also the entree, busiate Palermo style simply excellent but the lamb superlative the cottuara technique makes it It makes mornido and unique taste worth the two stars, I'll only mention the small pastry shop, thank you all

14/07/2024: Bad experience, very poor menu with no choice for all tastes, the quality was well below expectations, the starters consisted of half a portion of mussels, 2 tasteless arancinette with tomato, 1 octopus tentacle which was clearly not fresh, 2 beccafico sardines all with traces of tomato although it was pointed out that there were allergies among the diners, all at the price of €45 I won't say anything else so the quality/price ratio is not respected. Good place to fast 🙄

03/08/2024: Glad to have found an air-conditioned restaurant on August 3 36 degrees outside. The setting is beautiful, the service pleasant and the dishes good for a reasonable price.

16/08/2024: I gave 5 on the environment because they have a very nice and welcoming veranda. I gave the service a 1 because the details make the difference. The food I gave a 1 because the raw materials must be cooked well. This is the difference. Anyone who comes to eat can come, anyone can be a food critic...(I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS YOU TO IMPROVE

10/08/2024: With a bitter taste in my mouth. We returned because last year we had a good time, but after this year we will not return due to the problem of the bill: 2 first courses, 1 cooked starter, 8 raw prawns, water and a €20 bottle of wine. Total: €135. In practice, on the receipt the 8 prawns cost €45! Crazy price, considering the service was ok, certainly not stellar, and considering that we had not been told the weight of the prawns at the table, but we discovered the final price at the checkout. With 45 I'm counting on getting a generous appetizer of raw meat, not 8 prawns.

09/08/2024: I went to this restaurant recommended to me by friends who went two years ago; the amberjack was dry and so was the pasta with the fish. I felt sick after dinner and completely ruined my evening, maybe they changed the chef

25/07/2024: This place is related to the 2 star Michelin in town. Having a young daughter, we thought this was next best thing. We sat outside and it was perfect. Great lighting, atmosphere and ambiance. We found the food to be a bit hit and miss. The octopus was ok.. bit overcooked and octopus could use a bit more love. The pasta dishes were amazing, the sardine pasta and the garlic pasta were both the highlight. Great flavours, pasta cooked perfectly and interesting. The mains kind of lacked creativity.. Seabass was good but not great and the pork unfortunately was super dry and stringy. Wine list is good, great aperitif list. The service is amazing, super friendly and not rushed.

10/07/2024: Very nice place and empathetic and welcoming staff (beautiful paintings of cats inside). We took water and house wine, and a four cat starter plus an off-menu (spring onions). Pasta with very good sausage ragù, with swordfish, aubergines and mint and a normal pasta. Finally two soft and tasty tiramisu. All for a very honest 84 euros.

07/07/2024: Delightful restaurant in the center of Ragusa with internal tables and a comfortable external terrace. Intrigued by the typical local dish... the Macco di Fave, an appetizer that the place offers and I must say it was very creamy and tasty. Another really good appetizer was the grilled caciocavallo. The excellent culinary experience continued with a delicious dish of baked pasta with very sweet tomato, mozzarella and capers and a first course with radicchio and bacon...excellent and plentiful dishes. The splendid evening ended with a delicious slipper made with their homemade bread. Optimal.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by friendly and attentive service who made us feel right at home. We opted for the ten course menu, and each course was a true delight for the taste buds. The diversity of flavors and the perfection with which each dish was prepared testify to the high quality and creativity of the kitchen. Every course managed to surprise us again, with special combinations and refined presentation. The balance between the different dishes was sublime and ensured a smooth and harmonious structure to the evening. The chefs' passion was clearly evident in every dish that came to the table. In short, our experience at Locanda Del Colonnello was nothing short of great. It is an absolute must for anyone looking for a culinary experience that you will not soon forget.
