15/11/2025: Alberto is a great host. That's about it. The food we had was truly awful. Taglierini with seafood, expensive and tasteless. Salt and spices were completely missing. It tasted only of oil and frozen seafood. The rest was also boring. Not attractively presented. The house red wine was cheap, but unfortunately still expensive. We also had the "pleasure" of having breakfast there. Even Aldi has stopped stocking such cheap, low-quality ham. (Or sold it to Italy.) Industrial cakes and the cheapest jam in plastic packets. How about some fresh orange juice? In the land of oranges, especially now during harvest season? Or a jar of regular marmalade instead of that colored jelly?

20/10/2025: Delicious food! I really recommend that place. Fantastic Sicilian atmosphere, great service, and again… delicious food :) amazing!

13/05/2025: Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno in questo ristorantino nel centro storico di Taormina (fra il corso principale e il duomo) e tutto ha confermato l’ottima impressione avuta in precedenza. Abbiamo mangiato dei ravioli con ricotta e crema di pistacchi e degli gnocchi con pesto e gamberoni. Poi abbiamo diviso del calamaro gratinato con panatura e verdure. Tutto ottimo. Il locale è dotato di un delizioso giardinetto e di un balconcino più riparato con due tavoli. Prezzo assolutamente nella norma. La gestione è a carattere familiare con personale gentile e cordiale. Torneremo senz’altro.

07/04/2025: Lugar tranquilo justo detrás del duomo bajando unos escalones. Recomendado por el hotel. Acogedor lugar familiar, comida siciliana. Albóndigas y carne muy buena. Ravioli estaba bien. Los bandos eran generosos.

13/11/2025: My wife, I, and some friends went to Il Gabbiano restaurant. We had dinner with various seafood dishes, all rigorously fresh and carefully prepared. The staff was polite and well-prepared, and the owner, Vittorio, and his wife, were truly knowledgeable and very professional. When you're in Capo D'Orlando, go there. We highly recommend it. 07/10/2025: Restaurant rating: "Dinner with 5+1 🕺🕺💃💃💃+👶" Food: The quality/taste of the ordered dishes (😋see pictures) was really very good 👏👏👏. Please keep up the good work in the kitchen 5x⭐️ Ambience: The ambience is very modern and clean 👏👏👏 = 5x⭐️ Service: The waiter was very exemplary and attentive 👏👏👏 = 5x⭐️ Small criticism: The olive oil bottle was placed empty on our table 🤔 (it can happen). After informing the staff, we received salad oil in bags 😢 for our salad.

30/11/2025: Unfortunately, they still bring ALREADY OPENED bottles of wine even though I've repeatedly asked that the bottles be opened in front of the customer.

19/11/2025: The food is truly awful; the mussels' breading only tastes like cheese, as do the other breadings. The pasta with clams tastes only like tomato, and the clams are small and few, basically like pasta with cherry tomatoes. The fish isn't fresh, the quality is poor, and the flavor is awful. The quantities are acceptable, just enough. To be avoided.

08/05/2025: Tutto ok ma i prezzi sono parecchio lievitati dall'ultima volta che ci siamo andati personale gentilissimo e pronto..

18/04/2025: La comida era excelente. Vi a los camareros 3 veces reutilizar el pan no comido y los palitos de pan de las cestas de las mesas. De hecho, vi a un camarero sacar dos trozos de pan de la cesta que parecía medio comido y luego rellenar la cesta con un par de panes nuevos para otra mesa.

12/07/2025: Über steile Treppen erreicht man das Da Francesco. Wir hatten einen großen Tisch mit toller Aussicht. Der Service war aufmerksam und schnell, led. 1 Essen kaum viel zu spät. Insgesamt tolle Speisen und Weine

23/10/2025: This restaurant is pure rip-off. Before you even read the menu, you're already served water at the table, the price of which is conflated with the wine. The menu is expensive, and although I don't know how it tastes, the way it's done is very bad. This is the only weak point of Taormina restaurants. It's a shame, because the rest of the restaurant is great.

23/10/2025: This restaurant is a money grab. If you like fish, it's okay. But everything else is crap. 14 euros for spaghetti, and most of the food is 20 euros or more. They also offer water before checking the menu, but if you see nothing interesting, you have to pay 3 euros for it. I don't recommend it.
