13/05/2025: Siamo tornati dopo qualche anno in questo ristorantino nel centro storico di Taormina (fra il corso principale e il duomo) e tutto ha confermato l’ottima impressione avuta in precedenza. Abbiamo mangiato dei ravioli con ricotta e crema di pistacchi e degli gnocchi con pesto e gamberoni. Poi abbiamo diviso del calamaro gratinato con panatura e verdure. Tutto ottimo. Il locale è dotato di un delizioso giardinetto e di un balconcino più riparato con due tavoli. Prezzo assolutamente nella norma. La gestione è a carattere familiare con personale gentile e cordiale. Torneremo senz’altro.

07/04/2025: Lugar tranquilo justo detrás del duomo bajando unos escalones. Recomendado por el hotel. Acogedor lugar familiar, comida siciliana. Albóndigas y carne muy buena. Ravioli estaba bien. Los bandos eran generosos.

16/09/2025: Superb!! We had an incredible time at Barcaiolo. The food was absolutely amazing there was not a single thing we could fault. Atmosphere was nice with sea views, the staff were so helpful and patient, friendly and attentive. We ordered for starters the white bait pancakes, oysters and anchovie with cheese bread - wow! The flavours were so perfect it was delicious, if I had to pick my favourite of the starters it would be the white bait pancakes. For mains we ordered the sardine pasta and the pesto prawn pasta both of which were delicious. You can tell everything is homemade and quality ingredients are used. We also ordered a bottle of white wine. Pricing was very fair for the portions and quality of food. Will definitely be back, thank you for having us!

14/09/2025: I do not understand all the amazing reviews!! The truth is this place is way overpriced for the quality of food served!! I think they charge so much because hardly anyone goes there since they must descend 124 rocky steps, and that means you must climb back up. There was not anything spectacular about the atmosphere. In fact very uncomfortable chairs. The people who ran the restaurant were bizarre. So the food : we did not order a lot because the prices were ridiculous A caprese salad for 20 euro. The tomatoes were not even red. A green salad I was told would have all these different green lettuces. We get a bowl of iceberg lettuce with one leaf of arugula. I asked and the owner pointed to the one leaf. So we order the sea bass grilled. Absolutely the most boring presentation and flavor, and that was 95 euros. If the food was good I wouldn’t mind paying high prices. We have traveled all over Italy and experienced amazing foods. This was the absolute WORST RESTAURANT we have been to. Do people not know what good food tastes like!!

18/04/2025: La comida era excelente. Vi a los camareros 3 veces reutilizar el pan no comido y los palitos de pan de las cestas de las mesas. De hecho, vi a un camarero sacar dos trozos de pan de la cesta que parecía medio comido y luego rellenar la cesta con un par de panes nuevos para otra mesa.

Please keep up the good work in the kitchen 5x⭐️ Ambience: The ambience is very modern and clean 👏👏👏 = 5x⭐️ Service: The waiter was very exemplary and attentive 👏👏👏 = 5x⭐️ Small criticism: The olive oil bottle was placed empty on our table 🤔 (it can happen). After informing the staff, we received salad oil in bags 😢 for our salad.

27/09/2025: This is a review of the restaurant only: dishes are average to poor (flavorless, watered down, burned), and the service is bordering on unprofessional. I don't recommend it.

12/07/2025: Über steile Treppen erreicht man das Da Francesco. Wir hatten einen großen Tisch mit toller Aussicht. Der Service war aufmerksam und schnell, led. 1 Essen kaum viel zu spät. Insgesamt tolle Speisen und Weine

22/06/2025: La nostra cena al Porto Bello è stata un momento memorabile del nostro viaggio a Salina. Il ristorante si trova in una posizione ideale con una vista spettacolare sulla baia. La qualità del cibo è eccezionale: ogni piatto è preparato con ingredienti freschi e locali. Il crudo misto di cernia, gamberi e ricciola era vario e squisito, gli spaghetti al fuoco erano cotti al dente alla perfezione e con un sapore che ti fa venire voglia di tornare solo per assaggiarli di nuovo. Il personale è cordiale e professionale e sa come far sentire speciale ogni cliente. I prezzi sono assolutamente onesti per la qualità offerta.

21/06/2025: Il mio piatto preferito qui sono stati gli spaghetti, arricchiti dal sapore di una perfetta quantità di pepe, olive nere e formaggio. Il personale è stato accogliente e apprezzo molto il servizio attento.

16/05/2025: Este fue un hallazgo en Taormina. Ligeramente lejos de las principales cafeterías y tiendas. Teníamos mariscos increíbles, almejas, mejillones y lubina fresca, bañados con delicioso vino local.

07/05/2025: Gran ambiente escondido de la calle principal y la comida y el personal eran encantadores. Solo ten cuidado con las bebidas gratuitas que ponen en la mesa y luego agregar a su cuenta al final.

11/09/2025: Very well located restaurant, with a nice atmosphere and fast and good service. We ate both ravioli with mushrooms and pasta with lobster, which tasted very good. An excellent grappa and cannolo finally topped off the evening!

10/09/2025: Everything is good, but I don't accept the idea that you can pay five euros a bottle for a liter of mineral water. It's excessive and exaggerated!
