29/01/2025: We returned after a long time and what can I say: a great confirmation! The quality is excellent and the dishes are well thought out and tasty. The freshness of the raw materials is beyond discussion and the service was impeccable. We can't wait to return!

28/01/2025: Excellent menu, all good, but perhaps I wouldn't have put stracciatella in the spaghetti with Bottarga, but it's my personal taste. We returned this evening and I confirm a very positive opinion. Fried baby octopus for appetizer, artichoke and prawn risotto and pear dessert with Sicilian pecorino cheese and cocoa powder.

18/01/2025: I ordered two granitas and two brioches... the brioches are mini, and at least 2/3 days old (one stone). 3 euros for a croissant like this, thank the eternal father that you are still open. Total crap. As a Sicilian I am ashamed that places like this exist, shame.

31/01/2025: Ieri sera mi sono concessa una serata di cucina siciliana, c'ero già stata un paio di anni fa con degli amici. Serata pessima, sotto tutti i punti di vista, soprattutto il cibo che se paragonato al costo ti lascia l'amaro in bocca. Iniziata la cena con 2 antipasti: sfizi di mare (insalata di mare con polpi durissimi e qualche pezzetto di calamaro due alici marinate, una sfoglietta di pesce spada marinato da tanto limone presente esageratamente nella pseudo insalata e oltretutto salatissima quindi immangiabile, costo 37.00 euro. Nel fare l’ordine al cameriere avevo chiesto di inserire nell’insalata una sarda beccafico, ma in realtà è arrivato un intero piatto come se fosse stato un secondo piatto del costo di 20 euro ritrovato a fine cena nello scontrino. Secondo piatto: grigliata mista, composta da uno scampo, due gamberoni, una frittellina dalla composizione indefinita, pezzetti di foglie qua e la di insalata per riempire il piatto, un'altra sarda beccafico e due calamaretti, sempre ripieni di pane grattugiato, come del resto le precedenti sarde dove l'ingrediente principale è un bella quantità di pane grattugiato. Praticamente un piatto dove l'ingrediente principale non era il pesce ma il pane, nel menu era 30.00 euro ma sullo scontrini finale 35.00. Altro secondo involtini di spada anche questi ripieni di pane dal sapore neutro , 22.00 euro. Per dolce una fetta di cassata realizzata con del pan di Spagna al cacao sopra e sotto con al centro la ricotta, l'esterno rivestito da una glassa di zucchero verde fosforescente, 9.00 euro. Secondo dessert dato l’andazzo, ho chiesto dei gelatini alla frutta che vengono serviti dentro i gusci del suo stesso frutto, unica cosa buona, dato che vengono realizzati da aziende esterne, e non fatti da loro, costo di 16 euro, calice di vino, acqua e coperto. Costo totale 154.00 euro per aver mangiato per la maggior parte del pane grattugiato, il tutto fatto presente al cameriere. Ciliegina sulla torta, la persona che stava con me arrivata a casa ha avuto problemi intestinali. P.S. Sono una chef, ho scritto 10 libri e la cucina siciliana la conosco molto a mena dito. Mi dispiace non aver fotografato i piatti, ma c’era poco da fotografare.

14/01/2025: Passing by chance from the Milvio bridge at lunchtime we decide to stop for something to eat, reading the reviews encourage us to try and we agree that we did well, a very clean place with typical Sicilian colors and furniture. We are served by a very friendly waiter from Catania who comes to tell us a little about Sicily, I choose a pasta with anchovies, tomatoes, breadcrumbs, pine nuts and raisins, fabulous, while my husband opts for a very welcome baked pasta, a fennel and orange salad and some baked potatoes all very good. I recommend stopping by if you pass by, it's worth it.

17/01/2025: We came here two nights in a row it was so good! They have gluten free pasta available. We went with seafood dishes and they were all excellent. The gluten free chocolate dessert was also delicious

14/01/2025: A guarantee for years. Professional and friendly staff at the same time. One of the few remaining restaurants capable of making your eyes roll with pleasure. Every dish on the menu is worth trying, although an honorable mention goes to the incredible caponata and pasta alla matalotta.

03/01/2025: I always like coming here....the owners are always friendly and courteous, the staff is active and kind.....I love Sicilian cuisine....the starters are delicious like everything else...perhaps to give a bit of liveliness some new touches to the place would help....

01/02/2025: When you order takeaway you often expect significantly lower quality than when eating in a restaurant. Here it's different. I received a truly excellent dish, hot, generous in portion and decidedly superlative in its seasoning. The strozzapreti with Sicilian flavors that I ordered gave me the emotion of a dinner at a restaurant while being at home. I will definitely order from you in the future, highly recommended!!

20/01/2025: It's a restaurant where you can eat a variety of arancini, and I thought it was the most delicious arancini I had in Rome. In addition to the classic ragu (meat sauce), you can also enjoy other attractive fried foods, such as the Roman specialty Cacio e Pepe made into arancini, and fried mozzarella cheese. I think he was the store manager, but he seemed to like Japanese culture, was wearing a T-shirt with Japanese written on it, and was a cheerful person.

13/02/2025: Conoscevo già Il Catanese di Roma per averci acquistato dei prodotti, ed erano buonissimi, ma non avevo mai avuto l'occasione di mangiarci. Finalmente ci sono riuscito, e devo dire che non mi è dispiaciuto affatto. Buon cibo, non so fino a che punto veramente "siciliano", ma buono a prezzi onesti. Locale carino, anche se un po' troppa confusione all'ora di punta . Comunque però Buono .

25/12/2024: Excellent fish restaurant not far from the Metro A terminus "ANAGNINA". Prices are more than affordable, the quality of the food is really good and very well cooked, with a very pleasant touch of Sicilian style. Very pleasant family atmosphere, quick and friendly service. Highly recommended!
