06/05/2025: Upon entering this very renowned rotisserie described by friends as the best takeaway chicken shop in Bologna, I ask the sales assistant for a chicken and 5 arancini. I was asked if I wanted the chicken to take away or if I wanted to eat it on site and I replied that I would take everything home. Bill: €19 which I pay by card at the checkout. I get in line for the chicken, on my turn the shop assistant looks out the window of the chicken shop (the rooms are connected) and asks the boy who prepares the chickens to see the receipt, clearly realizing that the total didn't add up and that he had done the math wrong. He tells me he didn't understand that in addition to the arancini I also wanted a chicken (I remember that upon my request I was asked if I wanted it to take away or eat it there). In front of the people in line, a controversy erupts over my alleged lack of clarity, almost alluding to the fact that I wanted to pocket €15 worth of chicken. It made me feel dirty, like a thief, and all this due to the lack of attention of the shop assistant who insisted, blocking the queue, not to let me deliver the chicken and inviting me to the cash register to pay for it. All this for €15. I go to the checkout, pay what I owe, go out and I'm sure they won't see me again. One more rude than the other, especially the thin girl with her hair tied back with a foreign accent. If you care about your dignity and mutual respect, stay away from this place both in terms of price and quality (arancini at €4 were harder than clay, in Palermo you buy 2 for that price) and because education in this country, as everywhere else, is not optional.

02/06/2025: A great Sicilian restaurant off the beaten track! The welcome is charming, the cuisine creative yet truly Sicilian. And the bill is reasonable. I particularly recommend the (real) ricotta cannolis 🤩

09/05/2025: My favorite Mediterranean restaurant, both for the quality and quantity of the dishes, but also for the wide choice of vegetarian/vegan options! The chef cooks vegetables very well and the Calabrian-Sicilian influence is also reflected in the abundance of her dishes. I think I've tried practically every dish and any excuse is a good one to return to my favorite restaurant! Not to mention the desserts, as a big sweet tooth I can say that they are all delicious. A note of merit in particular for the tacolenta with caramel cream (home made!), the ricotta soufflé and the sour cherry tart. Attention new customers: this restaurant is addictive!

27/04/2025: Ottima cucina in un ambiente accogliente. Polpette alla mortadella indimenticabili e gramigna e salsiccia super. Piatti della tradizione fatti con cura e ottime materie prime. Personale giovane, molto garbato. Esperienza da ripetere, decisamente.

06/04/2025: Tornato ieri dopo un po' di tempo, ho ritrovato ottimi piatti (menzione speciale per le polpette di patate e mortadella, favolose!) e un personale attento, disponibile e molto simpatico. Bravi!
