15/07/2025: We like restaurants that are in areas frequented much more by locals than positioned to catch tourist footfall. And we tested this theory having booked a hotel out of the centre of Milan. We had arrived late and hungry and this was one of the few places still open. We entered the restaurant and immediately enjoyed the late evening buzz of the place and were warmly greeted. We chose pasta and seafood dishes and all delivered. We were too full to try dessert but some very appealing looking dessert choices to a party in a separate section of the restaurant. All in all an enjoyable start to a short visit to Milan.

03/07/2025: I made a reservation for 12 noon on a weekday, but I think you could have gotten in without it. After 1pm, the locals start to get lively, but it didn't feel too loud. I wasn't particularly hungry, so I ordered pasta and grilled seafood, but the pizza looked really good, so I'd like to try it again next time. The pasta had a really good clam flavor and was really tasty. The grilled food was tasty, but it tasted just as I expected lol

02/07/2025: We spent a pleasant and warm night here. The whole restaurant was just lively enough, full of laughter and conversation, but not too noisy to disturb each other who wanted to chat. The service staff was very enthusiastic, but not too attentive. They would observe quietly and give thoughtful suggestions at the right time. We could eat the dishes we wanted even though we didn't speak the language, and it didn't cause too much trouble. Instead, we felt that they tried seriously to understand our needs, and that effort made us feel at ease. The dishes were exquisite and the prices were reasonable. Although this trip is coming to an end, if we have the opportunity to dine again, we will still choose to come back here. Recommended for you who want to find a warm and textured place during your trip.

23/06/2025: Baja Sardinja, near my studio, is a small Sardinian fish restaurant where every dish is really, really good: the quality is always very high and the authentic flavors really remind you of Sardinia. One of its strong points is the wine list: it is in fact one of the few places in Milan where I found my favorite Vermentino, Funtanaliras, which I always drink when I am in Sardinia. The place is quite small and often very crowded, so I recommend booking. The prices are quite high, but in line with Milanese standards for the quality of the fish. An address to note for those looking for an authentic and high-level experience in the world of Sardinian fish.

22/06/2025: I would like to start by saying that you eat really well at honest prices. The portions are generous, the flavors are well-balanced and the products are excellent. Nothing to say about the food except compliments! Unfortunately, I cannot give full marks to the location either: the place is small and the tables are very close to each other. This means that when the waiters pass by the tables they inevitably bump into you, especially in certain places. The acoustics really need to be reviewed: when there are a lot of people, you can't talk to the person in front of you. The service is "rough" but also very efficient and very fast. I would review these little things to improve it even more, the starting point is very good.

13/07/2025: It's one of Milan's classic seafood restaurants! It's been for years! Honestly, the tables are too close together... And despite the partitions, it always feels like you're eating with the people sitting at the next table.... The shellfish is good, the raw fish is good... Perhaps the menu could be improved a little.
