They welcomed us late (after 10:30 PM) and were super friendly and hospitable.
Excellent food, both fish and meat.
The house appetizer was plentiful, and the first courses were just right, very good.
Definitely highly recommended and worth returning for, even just for the ladies serving us.

As always, a guarantee!
Baia Chia is truly the typical little trattoria of the olden days that are increasingly difficult to find!
A welcoming place, the dishes are each better than the last.
Highly recommended!!

Dinner with three colleagues, we opted for the fixed fish menu, four appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, desserts, and house myrtle liqueur... everything was delicious and fresh, and the staff was lovely and super friendly. Baia Chia has been around for over 20 years, and they're always a guarantee. Thanks for a lovely evening, and see you soon.

It was upon crossing the threshold of that Sardinian restaurant, "Baia Chia," that a journey through time began, taking me back to those adolescent summers in Sardinia, when flavors still possessed a primal purity.
The spaghetti with bottarga and shrimp arrived first: the bottarga—gold of the Mediterranean—delicately melted while the shrimp offered that meaty sweetness that the palate immediately recognized, like a buried memory suddenly resurfaced.
The culurgiones, with their characteristic, hand-crafted, herringbone-shaped closures, were small works of art, each fold enclosing not only the filling, but hours of patient work and skills passed down from generation to generation.
The tuna tartare presented itself in its stark simplicity: a quality so evident it needed no masks.
The fregola soup with fish—that small pasta toasted in a fragrant broth where the seafood told stories of nets pulled in at dawn—was a return home in every spoonful.
The friendly service possessed the warm, almost familial authenticity of those who joyfully share their culture.
And the finale—Sardinian pastries and homemade myrtle—captured the experience with a melancholy sweetness: those hand-shaped sweets and that intense myrtle were the perfect farewell to a dream we didn't want to abandon.
Everything homemade, everything handmade, everything authentic. It was precisely this absolute fidelity to tradition—not as a museum but as a living thing—that transformed the dinner into a fragment of time rediscovered.

On a cold day, we had a truly wonderful meal at this Sardinian restaurant.
The fresh seafood dishes were delicious and full of flavor.
The tomato seafood stew was warm, rich, and comforting, perfect for the cold.
The fried calamari was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
The mussel stew was also excellent, with a fragrant, intense sauce.
A meal that warmed our bodies and hearts. We'll definitely be back!

Baia Chia Restaurant – Milan, Via Antonio Bazzini 37
During a visit to the Città Studi Clinical Institute, we decided to take advantage of its proximity to try Baia Chia, a restaurant serving authentic Sardinian cuisine. It was a good choice from the moment we entered: we were greeted with the spontaneous kindness and warm hospitality that distinguish Sardinia.
We began with an appetizer of typical dishes: Sardinian sausages, wild boar, mutton, and pork, a journey of intense and authentic flavors. This was followed by a well-executed mixed fried fish dish and a tuna steak on a bed of chicory, a balanced and pleasantly fresh dish. All this was accompanied by an excellent Vermentino di Sardegna, perfect for enhancing the aromas of the sea.
The restaurant is small and intimate, a characteristic that contributes to the family atmosphere. However, a freshening up of the walls and an overhaul of the kitchen's odor extraction system would be useful to make the experience even more pleasant.
Overall, Baia Chia offers authentic Sardinian cuisine, authentic flavors, and welcoming service. Prices are reasonable for the quality and the location. A must-try if you're looking for a true taste of Sardinia in the heart of Milan.

Unique, characteristic atmosphere. The food is fantastic; everything is delicious, made with the freshest ingredients. You could dine just on appetizers, but that would mean missing out on some superb first and second courses. Truly, everything is served in a family-friendly atmosphere!
