With a group of longtime friends, we were looking for a seafood restaurant in Milan near Porta Romana and Porta Vittoria that offered a refined atmosphere, with attention to detail, yet far from formal or cold. L'Isola dei Sapori, at Via Anfossi 10, exceeded our every expectation. The evening was flawless: special praise goes to Domenico, an exceptional waiter, prompt and extremely professional, who made us feel pampered and at home from the very first moment. This place is a true guarantee for those seeking authentic Sardinian seafood cuisine and wanting to eat well in Milan, thanks to dishes rich in authentic flavors and top-quality ingredients at absolutely fair prices. Parking in the area is also very convenient, a huge plus. The real surprise? A delicious entrée from the kitchen: pappa al pomodoro with king prawns, beautifully paired with a glass of Franciacorta Berlucchi Riserva 2019. Absolutely sublime! The customer service here is extraordinary: at the end of the meal, they offered us delicious homemade cream cannoli and, as an added touch for us ladies, a small bag of artisanal cookies ("Il Buongiorno dell'Isola") for breakfast the next day.
