28/07/2026: An exceptional restaurant for the quality of its food, service, and location. Daniela is incredibly kind and attentive to every guest's needs. She is discreet and empathetic, as are the restaurant staff, located in a setting of rare beauty. The restaurant is meticulously maintained and very welcoming, with a stunning view of Rome and the sea. It's very easy to get to, and there's convenient on-site parking. The quality and presentation are superb. I highly recommend it!

09/06/2026: An absolutely dreamy wedding venue! The view is simply breathtaking – surrounded by vineyards and with a truly unique atmosphere. Thanks to its hilltop location, even on warm days there's a pleasant climate with a gentle breeze, making the stay particularly enjoyable. The service was also outstanding. With so many waiters, all our guests received attentive and professional service at all times. The food was also superb and completely exceeded our expectations. From the location to the service to the culinary offerings, everything was simply perfect. We couldn't have wished for a more beautiful place for a wedding and wholeheartedly recommend this venue.

08/06/2026: Giardino l'Olivella is in a truly stunning location: the view upon arrival is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and passionate about the menu, ready to explain each dish. The appetizers were truly exquisite, while the main courses, in my opinion, despite being meticulously presented (a much appreciated aspect), didn't quite live up to expectations (the pasta was very, very al dente), making the quality-price ratio unbalanced. However, I know it's difficult to manage a large table, so I'll definitely be back to try the dishes again and enjoy the view. The one thing I would recommend, however, is the atmosphere. Surrounded by such beautiful nature, you'd expect the warmth and lightheartedness typical of country farmhouses. Instead, I felt the atmosphere was a bit too formal, almost like a city restaurant. Perhaps it would take very little to make the experience more relaxing, perhaps offering a small, informal welcome drink while waiting for a table, to make guests feel pampered from the very first moment. It's a place with immense potential, just lacking a touch of warmth to be perfect. I must, however, compliment the interior design; it's truly beautiful.

22/08/2026: The first courses (lasagna and pappardelle with ragù) and the roast lamb with potatoes were excellent. The desserts were very good, especially the glass of lemon ice cream with limoncello. The atmosphere was typical. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable.

12/08/2026: DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE: ​I went to this restaurant with high expectations, but the dinner turned out to be a major disappointment in terms of flavor. ​For my first course, I ordered fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. The presentation was acceptable, but the first bite was a terrible surprise: the dish was completely bland. The porcini mushrooms, which should provide an intense and distinctive aroma and flavor, seemed almost blanched and devoid of seasoning. ​Hoping to elevate the evening with dessert, I opted for a pistachio semifreddo. Unfortunately, the story repeated itself: the texture was right, but the flavor was completely absent. There was not even a hint of pistachio. The service was average, but when you go to a restaurant, the quality and flavor of the food should be the priority. Paying for such bland and characterless dishes is absolutely not worth it. I do not recommend it and I don't plan on returning.

01/08/2026: We had lunch here with a group of 10, and the terrace is truly beautiful, but during the day it's literally scorching hot: they should definitely install air conditioning or a misting system to make the atmosphere more livable. There's nothing to complain about as to the traditional Roman cuisine: the first and second courses were truly delicious and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the final bill was the real letdown. The house wine at €23 and the prosecco were a bit bland, the coffees at €3 each were decidedly pricey, but the real rip-off was the cake, which cost a whopping €80. In total, we spent €75 per person (€750 for 10 people), a decidedly excessive and disproportionate amount for a traditional Roman lunch. Despite the splendid view and good food, I sadly won't be returning.

24/08/2026: I had lunch at Osteria Il Grappolo d'Oro on August 20th. From a culinary perspective, there was nothing to complain about: we ate well, with good-quality ingredients and well-prepared dishes. Unfortunately, however, the service definitely compromised the experience. I understand and appreciate an informal setting, especially in an osteria, but I believe there's a difference between informality and an attitude that can be rude toward customers. During lunch, the lady serving us openly complained about the amount of work she had to do and forgot some of our requests, including a Coca-Cola, which we had to remind her of when it didn't arrive. So far, forgetfulness can happen to anyone. What bothered me most, however, was the annoyed response I received when I politely asked if I could order two coffees: "If you wait, I'll bring them for you. I have to seat these people now," pointing to some customers who had just entered, "who need to eat." I certainly didn't expect the coffees to arrive immediately: a simple "Sure, I'll bring them to you as soon as I can" would have sufficed. The way the response was phrased, however, struck me as rude and inappropriate toward a customer. As I was leaving, I also overheard the same lady telling other customers she'd been working there for many years and remarking that, in any case, people come back because the food is good. That's probably true, and I agree that the food is worth it. Personally, however, when I go to a restaurant, I don't just pay for what's on my plate, but also to have a pleasant time and feel treated with courtesy. For this reason, despite having eaten well, I won't return. If I had been looking for this kind of treatment, I would have chosen a different setting and at least been prepared for it.

23/08/2026: Coming here for the past 15 years has always been a pleasure. Stefano is incredibly kind in helping us with our wheelchair, and Isabella always makes us feel at home. Every now and then, I bring new customers, and they're all blown away by the food, especially the unbeatable porchetta. You can choose between Roman cuisine or the fraschetta menu, which we opted for this time: prosciutto crudo, sweet and spicy salami, cheeses, buffalo mozzarella, sweet and spicy olives, porchetta, and to finish, wine with typical Frascati donuts, which are truly delicious! You can eat inside or outside. I recommend making a reservation because it's always very popular. The prices are fair, and it even includes a chat and a laugh with the very kind and charming owner.

25/04/2026: I'm not one to always write reviews, but this time I felt compelled by the fact that last night we had dinner here with friends, and I can assure you that everything was exceptional, from the owner to the waiters, from the food to the good wine.

19/04/2026: This place was a very welcome sanctuary from the very poor and low quality restaurants of Rome City where we felt like pariahs being tourists. Service and food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. We felt welcomed which was something very lacking in Rome. If the opportunity presented itself to revisit, we would. Compliments to the chef for outstanding food and wine. Thank you
