13/06/2025: Sono rimasto deluso dalla mia esperienza in questa pizzeria. Ho ordinato la “Pizza Carbonara” e mi è arrivata una pizza bianca con 3-4 fettine di qualcosa simile al bacon e, al centro, un uovo intero semplicemente aperto e cotto: una presentazione davvero discutibile e molto lontana dall’idea di una carbonara. Personalmente ho provato anche in altre pizzerie la pizza carbonara e mi è sempre arrivata una pizza con la crema ben fatta. Il menu fisso da 23€ a persona, che include un antipasto di fritti, una pizza e una bevanda piccola, mi è sembrato decisamente caro rispetto alla qualità e quantità complessiva del cibo. La pizza era pesante e poco digeribile. A peggiorare ulteriormente la serata, durante la notte ho avuto un forte bruciore di stomaco, tanto da non riuscire a dormire. Purtroppo, non posso consigliare questo posto, né per la qualità né per il rapporto qualità-prezzo.

28/05/2025: Quando posso vado in questo ristorante, sono molto cordiali e veloci, il cibo è ottimo, posto tranquillo , ieri sono andata e ho trovato la serata Karaoke, mi sono divertita tantissimo .

01/07/2025: Nice place, well located. The all you can eat formula does not seem very convenient, despite the place being famous for it. The house wine seems watered down, the carbonara is good, average for a tourist place. Good carbonara cream, not excessively salty. Pasta cooked to perfection. The amatriciana is served only with bucatini, forkable only by experts, the tomato is, personally, too sweet. The guanciale does not seem like guanciale, it is tasteless, without pepper and overcooked. The pecorino is excellent. Fast, courteous and friendly service. Nice place.

12/07/2025: Typical Roman trattoria atmosphere, with painted walls and all the food you'd expect to find in Rome. Prices are average. Nothing special. Excellent lamb.

30/06/2025: They have a beautiful, lighted and cooled terrace, but only one of the waiters spoke English, the others didn't understand us at all. They brought our food from outside, from another restaurant.

03/08/2025: We spent a pleasant evening and ate an excellent Roman menu. The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. A wonderful experience.

01/08/2025: Disgusting food, the pasta was overcooked and there was no guanciale in the carbonara.

31/05/2025: The food been dissapointing. The pasta wasn't fresh,overpriced is really not a place to expirience Roma!

10/05/2025: High expectations since it was recommended by the Lonely Planet guide and it was a major disappointment. The Octopuss Salad was simply a boiled octopus leg accompanied by a lemon wedge. The spaghett with clams had a strange smell. Exorbitant prices for what they offer.

24/07/2025: We very much enjoyed our meal here. The owner waited on us, and recommended several dishes that I normally wouldn't have tried, but they were delicious! Very friendly atmosphere, by the time we left we felt like we had made new friends. We had prosciutto and melon, eggplant pie, ravioli, and a very nice dish consisting of of thinly sliced steak, stir fried with arugula and tomatoes. We will definitely eat here again, there were so many other things on the menu we still need to try!

24/07/2025: A Hidden Gem in Rome Dining at La Fontanella Sistina was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious — from the refreshing melon and prosciutto, to the savory eggplant pie, to the perfectly prepared homemade ravioli. One standout was a Roman specialty Francesco recommended: tender strips of steak stir-fried with tomatoes and arugula — something we had never heard of, but will definitely never forget! We ended the meal with a heavenly tiramisu that was the perfect sweet finish. What made the experience even more special was the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Francesco. He not only guided us through an incredible meal but also shared stories and photos of his family’s long history in the restaurant business. It felt less like a meal out and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. We left with full hearts and full stomachs — and the feeling that we’d found both a new friend and a new favorite restaurant. If you're in Rome, don't miss this place!

01/08/2025: I'm giving 1 star because you can't give 0. One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. They charged us €15 for 3 soft drinks: those are the prices in Rome. They take tourists for fools. There are much better places in Rome. Take your chances. Dishonest and disrespectful. God bless them.

01/08/2025: We just left the restaurant and they wanted to force us to pay by card instead of cash because "I don't have enough money," in a very arrogant tone. We left with the owner insulting us because we even dared to pay her. She also overcharged each of us by 20 cents. Don't come, you dishonest people.

27/06/2025: My review of a very pleasant experience, in 2014 and repeated in 2017, was: "Excellent traditional Roman cuisine, a stone's throw from the Pantheon, a suggestive setting and good value for money. Absolutely recommended! :-)". After a recent experience in the past few weeks I have to lower my rating a lot, both on the quality of the food - average - but above all in relation to the exhausting waiting times.

11/05/2025: I hate talking like this, the food is terrible, I can't express my dissatisfaction, I didn't finish what I ordered and to gratify myself I immediately went to another restaurant to make up for it. To this day I don't understand how this restaurant can continue

05/06/2025: Terrible, I ordered an Aperol, when I went to order a water the waiter, I think I was going to pay, left complaining that it was just water.
