You should definitely get burrata if you are here, always my favourite!

10/02/2026: We had an excellent lunch at Pizza Trattoria da Franco. This is a small quaint little restaurant with a “local” feel to it. It’s family owned and run and nearly the whole family was there.
We split gnocchi and a pizza and couldn’t have been more pleased. The gnocchi melted in your mouth.
Gnocchi: 5/5
Pizza: 4/5 (only because I’m not a fan of olives or artichokes)
Highly recommend!

16/02/2026: What happens when excellent Apulian cuisine marries exceptional Neapolitan pizzas? You're at Gravina. You'd be tempted to order a good portion of the menu, but we're pizza lovers, and I must say that in all these years, Gravina hasn't budged at all, even in its desserts. We can safely say that in this area of southern Milan, that is, towards Via Cermenate and Piazzale Agrippa, and even part of the Navigli, there are no other pizzerias of this caliber.
11/02/2026: We were staying near this small Apulian restaurant, where we made reservations for aperitivo and dinner on a Saturday evening (also recommended by someone in the neighborhood).
A plentiful and delicious aperitivo. The "small" panzerotto was delicious and the portion was generous (how about the large one?), the same as the puccia. We enjoyed the good food.
The restaurant, not very large, was completely packed (reservations are recommended on weekends), with a cheerful but relaxed atmosphere. The staff was polite and friendly. Good value for money.

There aren't many seats
(so it's best to book) and they're quite close together, but you can still relax and spend a lovely evening with friends. The food is truly excellent, with generous portions, balanced flavors, and average prices for a restaurant in Milan (certainly not among the most expensive, but excellent value). Even the desserts looked inviting, but I was already full after the appetizers and orecchiette. Next time I'll split a first course and order one of the fish main courses; I would have liked to try everything!

06/01/2026: As the daughter of a native of Puglia, I was eager to try this authentic trattoria. My expectations were not disappointed: the orecchiette with turnip greens were delicious, and the grilled meat was also well-cooked. The tiramisu was excellent, a pleasant end to the meal. Overall, a very positive experience.
03/01/2026: A place with a pleasant atmosphere and a good location. The food is average, with some interesting flavors but nothing particularly exceptional. The service is adequate, but the overall experience didn't exceed expectations. Good if you're in the area, but not my absolute favorite.
