In order, we ordered:
Appetizers:
- fave e cicoria: incredible fava bean cream and divinely sautéed chicory
- bruschetta with burrata, cherry tomatoes, and anchovies, all fresh and delicious
First courses:
- orecchiette with turnip tops, exactly what we expected: flavorful, perfectly cooked pasta, sautéed very, very well
- orecchiette "trani": fresh with incredible ingredients, we didn't expect them to be so good! Served in a bowl to enhance the homey atmosphere.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the main courses and desserts, which looked truly inviting and traditional, because we were full from the first courses!
Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

15/03/2026: On Saturday, March 14th, we celebrated our granddaughter's baptism at Acquasala.
The location was fantastic; despite the rain, we admired the most beautiful part of Milan.
The restaurant staff was out of this world, attentive to their guests and super professional.
The quality of the ingredients was undeniable; you could see they were meticulously prepared and left nothing to chance.
The traditional dishes were delicious.
We will definitely be back.
The taste of the ricotta cheese is still in my mouth.
See you soon.

Excellent value for money.
The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. I've had pizza there before. The pizzas have a delicious and inviting aroma. And they're delicious!
(March 2026) I'm updating the review for the pizza, which I always find delicious. This evening we had dinner with a mixed Apulian meat appetizer and mixed fried fish. Afterwards, we had excellent pizzas. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and very polite.
23/02/2026: We went there for lunch on Sunday with a couple of friends. We'd made reservations without ever being there before, choosing it for its proximity to the Teatro Stella, where we'd be going later.
We really enjoyed it: excellent pizza and attentive service. We particularly appreciated when, instead of the usual dessert menu, the lady showed up with an assorted dessert menu, allowing us to see the available options firsthand.
Excellent experience, we'll definitely be back! 😊

08/02/2026: This is the type of place that tourists hope to stumble upon. Small traditional restaurant with super service. A simple menu of regional classics serving solid and well priced dishes. We had a wonderful dinner. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. If this were in my neighborhood I would come every week.

07/03/2026: We had dinner here tonight. The food and atmosphere were excellent. Authentic, homemade flavors, which are hard to find these days. Cured meats, stracciatella, and panzerotti were exquisite. The pasta dishes and meats were also delicious. Very honest. Highly recommended, a favorite in Milan. We'll be back soon. 10 out of 10.
25/01/2026: I had lunch on a Saturday with a friend, and unfortunately, the experience was terrible.
The dining room was freezing: we ate in our jackets. For our appetizer, we were served thawed, fried sparrows, completely tasteless. For our first course, orecchiette pasta drowned in sauce, with very little pasta. I also received a dish that, according to them, was only served on Fridays: a cream of fava beans with very tough boiled vegetables. The dish wasn't bad, but it had been reheated incorrectly and was cold. For our second course, a grilled horse cutlet was very rubbery; my lamb chops were dry and burnt. The only positive note: the baked potatoes, which were really good. Lunch ended with just one dessert for two and two coffees. Final bill: €85.00 for two, absolutely disproportionate for a Saturday lunch and for the quality offered. Last but not least, the bathroom is located in an outdoor courtyard, uncovered, where rain can get in. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

10/04/2026: Magnificent experience! A real gem in Milan! Unfortunately, there aren't any restaurants like this, and these are the best. The staff is incredibly attentive, and then there's Vittorio, the owner, the soul of the restaurant. It's going to become a regular for us! Well done!
