Da Franco In Milano

This place is a total GEM! My Cousin and me discovered this restaurant July 2025, after we visited Chinatown and were extremely hungry and were looking for lunch nearby. We found this restaurant and happened to get a free table. We both ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and were completely blown away. Both of us immediately stated that this was the best Carbonara, that we have ever eaten! You could taste that it was self-made, hat authentic ingredients, perfect seasoning and flavour - and additionally, the portions were generous! I‘m still thinking about it months later. 😍 The people working there and the owner were overly nice, inviting and communicative. The desserts in the vitrine looked very delicious aswell - we really wanted to try them too, but sadly we were too full from our main dishes 😪. 10/10 food experience!

It was perfect. Exactly what we wanted our last night in Milan. A good primitivo for 22€. And a wide choice of simple but good tasty food with lots of Puglia favourites. Our waitress was kind and helpful. Franco is a happy fellow but a bit disappointed we didnt have antipasti or dolce, but we were so full. Highly recommended!

The onion pizza won me over completely! But I'll definitely be back to try the traditional Apulian cuisine...they say it's the best in Milan!

We visited this restaurant as a family of five for lunch. The service was excellent and extremly friendly. The waitress spoke perfect English, which helped us a lot, as we unfortunately don’t speak Italian… The food was delicious and the pizzas freshly made in the woodfired oven. It was no problem to order a pizza to share for the smaller kids. The tiramisu we had for dessert was the best, we‘ve ever had. The ambience of the restaurant was cute and very italian. We surely recommend this restaurant!

A great traditional and authentic Italian restaurant. The staff are fabulous and the chef comes out to see his customers. You can tell the food is made with great care and love. Fabulous restaurant
