Da Franco In Milano

A place with a cozy Italian vibe. Very friendly and warm service. The seafood spaghetti was pure bliss. This trattoria was a delightful discovery in Milan. One to return to.

We had a wonderful time. The meal was excellent, the waiter very helpful and entertaining, and the chef very attentive. Special mention for the grilled sea bass.

We met Franco a week ago and fell in love. Everything was excellent!!! From appetizer to dessert, a delight. We'll be back very soon!

What an amazing experience! The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the place was decorated as a traditional cantina but for me the plus was the "altar" for Toto. If I'd have to return to Milano a hundred times I'd love to visit Da Franco a hundred one!

One of the few true family-run trattorias left in Milan. Super friendly, charming, and the food is delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended!

We ordered the seafood gnocchi which was super soft but we trust that's the Puglian way. The sauce was exceptional! We also had the Quattro Stagioni pizza which was fresh out of the oven and very yummy. Franco was a warm and bubbly host who made us laugh lots during our meal. He also mind-read that we wanted tiramisu and the end of our lunch. However, he charged us the wrong amount when we tried to split the bill but he might just find maths hard. That's ok. Menu is cheap and we highly recommend if you're in the area! Thanks Franco!!

We arrived late from the beach at stazione garibaldi and were looking for some place to have dinner at. We were supposed to go to the restaurant across the street but they conveniently gave us a bad look and nodded their heads as a "no" so we wouldn't go inside since we were in bermudas and flip flops. (good for us!!) Instead, we went to Da Franco and it was one of the best decisions we made on this trip. This is a super traditional and "local" spot, Giuseppe welcomed us very well and treated us so kindly, along with the other employees. The food is absolutely amazing and we were very very pleased with the whole experience. Will definetly be back and recommend this place to everyone going to Milan. We had a main for each one of us (3 pp), coke and a glass of wine and a watermelon for dessert. The total was only 17 euros per person. Can't wait to go back!!!
