04/05/2025: I've wanted to go to Fantino for years, but I've never found a place. Word of mouth was generous with compliments and perhaps for this reason I had higher expectations than reality. I can't say that the food is bad, but unfortunately nothing impressed me. There were many shortcomings in the service and quality of some dishes. The service was a bit confusing with little attention paid to the order, but overall it is sufficient and an excellent solution for a passing lunch or dinner.

She cooks very well and is treated like a grandmother... a little eccentric and fun! 2 starters (porchetta with snow peas and asparagus pie with culatello) 4 first courses of tortelli/tortellini, delicious cutlets and amazing guinea fowl and duck! Experience to do! Good evening also the selection of wines

01/05/2025: We went to this tavern on the recommendation of a friend. It wasn't a lunch, it was an experience. The owner told us personal anecdotes and stories about the tavern, which has existed for generations. Absolutely worth a visit.

27/04/2025: Unfortunately, this place is long past its best. As described in the other reviews, no apparent price, we paid €35 ​​per person, what we got: Minestrone is completely overcooked and extremely sour, almost inedible. Tortellini, ok but probably from a bulk package. Then a strange pork foot sausage (extremely fatty) with a loveless, salt-free mashed potato and a cabbage salad seasoned with only salt and oil. No vinegar, or herbs, nothing. Then there were very sour meatballs and beans cooked with fat, For dessert, a bone-dry biscuit-like “cake” How can you cook the same menu for years and then with a lack of love that I have rarely experienced. And then the wine, apparently homemade in a cherry barrel, with a very strong artificial cherry aroma, but which is poured into carafes from large 5 liter plastic containers, horrible place, rip-off, we have never eaten so bad!!!

23/05/2025: Treated like shit. I had the cook next to me as a guard. He asks me to settle the bill several times. I threw the money on the counter. You don't treat people like that. You can't judge a person who is ignorant and rude.

05/04/2025: Appena fuori dal casello autostradale di Modena Sud. Ristorante per questo molto frequentato. Buon servizio, piatti molto buoni della tradizione. Super pulito. Siamo stati bene e abbiamo mangiato in poco tempo.
