13/07/2026: Great find in Fontanegli 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Lovely experience at Trattoria Paolin. We ate on the veranda and the atmosphere was truly pleasant. Tasty dishes, quality ingredients, and 4-star, attentive, and friendly service. Definitely worth a try!

14/12/2025: I called for Sunday lunch at the last minute, there were 14 of us without a reservation and Christian and his wife welcomed us with a hospitality that is not always taken for granted, we ate and drank very well, the friends, some from Milan, that I brought were all satisfied ... 16/08/2026: The owners were truly top-notch, from their parking tips to their attention to the super-quick dinner for the youngest member of the group, to the final greeting at the table like a true chef! The staff were equally top-notch, attentive to everything and made us feel right at home. Delicious Ligurian cuisine!

14/08/2026: I stopped in for lunch and was very pleased: the food was excellent, the prices were more than fair considering the area, and the service was very fast and friendly; I highly recommend it.
10/08/2026: The food is reheated, when we wanted to add salt to the food the lid fell off and all the salt fell into the salad, the food was served one by one, and the potatoes got cold by the time my schnitzel was served, everything was very bad. The food was served very slowly and at the end when I asked for 2 more beers, they were brought after I asked for the bill. I do not recommend this restaurant in any case!!!

02/07/2026: "Homemade" is definitely the right adjective to describe this trattoria. Food is homemade by the owner's sister; the staff is welcoming, respectful, and friendly; the food is excellent (the portions are perhaps a little small for the price, but the quality justifies it). The only flaw: there's no fixed menu and the printed version is only provided for pricing purposes, so before deciding what to order, it's best to ask the waiter for a list of available dishes. The melt-in-your-mouth pesto mandilli are highly recommended. I'd love to return!

11/07/2026: Right in the historic center of Chiavari. Excellent for a lunch break. The waitress is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and well-served.
16/06/2026: This is a great place for a meal, the lovely young girl serving us was amazing and respectful of my husbands allergy to onions. Our meals were both delicious as was the coffee and shared tiramisu.

16/08/2026: We returned to this place after a few years, which looks good and is in a great location. Unfortunately, the review isn't very positive due to the indifferent service and some dishes that we felt weren't up to par. The fish main course portions were small. In particular, the dish of the day was tuna sautéed with sesame and soy sauce, and for this dish, I'm sorry, but I would have given it a one. The price, however, was in line with other quality dishes.

08/05/2026: A sure thing. Coming back from Tuscany, we stopped there, knowing full well that we might not find a spot: Saturday night...
Instead, they went out of their way to find parking for the motorcycle.
Focaccia served as if it were raining, and beer.
Nothing else to say.

22/05/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant, which I hadn't heard of. We had a wonderful time. We ate everything based on fish. The dishes were good quality and very tasty. The service was attentive and very friendly. The Prosecco was excellent and the price was fair.

06/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Family-run, extremely professional. But above all, Pansoti ravioli and homemade pasta, #1 in the city in our opinion.
03/05/2026: After ordering at 9:30 PM, we waited an hour and a half and received nothing. Out of politeness, we weren't even offered an appetizer while we waited, and the bread basket arrived empty, with only packaged breadsticks. We left the table at 11:00 PM without having eaten anything and left. A terrible experience, not recommended.

09/08/2026: The best gluten-free pasta I've ever had. They were incredibly careful and attentive, especially one waiter whose name I forgot to ask, but who warned us about everything, even mentioning that the grilled meat might contain gluten. 10/10 I'll definitely be back.

31/07/2026: We booked at the last minute, we were just passing through...very kind waitress, very old-fashioned atmosphere, good food but no menu and no prices...final bill too high for having eaten a second course, salad and half a dessert €36.00. Basically a fixed price regardless of what you eat...handwritten bill on a piece of paper...I don't like it!
28/07/2026: Excellent for quick meals, business lunches and dinners, and lunches or dinners with friends. Varied menu, Ligurian cuisine, and very friendly staff.
