08/04/2026: A very authentic Italian place. The food is simple and inexpensive, but oh so delicious. The service is quick, the waiters are busy, and sometimes they make mistakes, but it's really not a problem.

20/10/2025: It's become my new favorite pizzeria! The pizzas are really good; I've never felt heavy or thirsty overnight. They have a variety of flavors, many of which are truly unique. I've been ordering here for a few years now, and the quality of the pizzas hasn't changed. The pizza ordering service is also truly excellent; they're always friendly, and the pizzas always arrive on time (sometimes even early), and compared to many other pizzerias, the wait times are truly minimal. I now recommend them to everyone. My compliments!

22/04/2026: Everything was standard fare, with no particular merits. I would have been satisfied (except for the rubbery grilled calamari), the fried food was good, as were the trofie and the off-menu items (brandacujun, cod prepared but not specified how). The inconvenience came at the end, when the bill to be split between two couples came with only the receipt for the two partial/total amounts. I remind you that it is required by law (and especially since 2020 with electronic receipts) to have the price of each item itemized. So you can verify the accuracy and transparency of what you've taken! Generally, I wouldn't recommend it because of this "I'll rip you off whenever I want" attitude. Response to the owner: It's not that I expect to be ripped off... It's simply the law. You have to detail the drinks. (full stop) When I asked for a rebill, the gentleman did it on a piece of paper... asking the waiter for the price of the dish of the day... if that's not a price per kilo and a sloppiness... you'll see! I'm not a keyboard warrior in the slightest, because I pointed out the things I wrote here privately to the gentleman at the cash register. (full stop) And rest assured, I won't be coming back! I certainly don't need your advice. If, instead of growing, you respond negatively to all the reviews... that speaks volumes about the professionalism of your establishment and its employees. I worked in 4-star hotels for 15 years and learned that the customer is always right, something you'll surely never understand given your know-it-all attitude... have a good life, and remember to punch in your receipts correctly.

17/04/2026: We appreciated this osteria for the quality and refinement of its dishes, which were very much in keeping with the region. The layout of the different dining rooms is lovely, and the decor is tasteful. The service was reserved and distant. A shame, otherwise we would have given it five stars. Very good value for money.

06/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Family-run, extremely professional. But above all, Pansoti ravioli and homemade pasta, #1 in the city in our opinion.

03/05/2026: After ordering at 9:30 PM, we waited an hour and a half and received nothing. Out of politeness, we weren't even offered an appetizer while we waited, and the bread basket arrived empty, with only packaged breadsticks. We left the table at 11:00 PM without having eaten anything and left. A terrible experience, not recommended.

17/02/2026: The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Even though we showed up at 3 PM, they were willing to prepare the dishes we requested and that were on the menu. The place is divided into two shops, one serving as a deli and one serving as a restaurant, making it very convenient for a quick but tasty lunch. We were very satisfied. We will definitely be back!

07/01/2026: The focaccias were good, as always. I had the mixed Italian-style fried food. A tiny slice of chicken that I didn't try (I thought there was no meat, but my brother took it without realizing there was nothing else), and raw, very hard vegetables. It's a shame because a month earlier, at my son's birthday, everything went smoothly. The ravioli were good, but overcooked.

20/03/2026: Excellent family restaurant where I go very often. The fried meat and seafood is always excellent and dry, the first courses are excellent, ravioli and pansoti are top notch, the fish always good. It's certainly not a place for a master chef, but if I go out to eat and find a clean, tidy, welcoming place with excellent value, I'll go back. Reading many reviews, I'm amazed. If you want a chic, modern place and want to spend 100 euros, go elsewhere. If you want to eat well in a setting that may be a bit retro but is clean and well-kept, this is the place for you. Kudos also to all the staff for their helpfulness and friendliness. If you sometimes have to wait a bit, be patient. They don't have a fast food sign outside.

18/02/2026: What a shame, really. An excellent culinary offering, featuring all the signature dishes of Ligurian cuisine, was literally thrown away due to the disorganization in the dining room and the resulting biblical waits before being served. I've been to this restaurant several times in the same week because I was staying in Chiavari for personal reasons. Whether it was a busy weekend or a quiet weekday, the common denominator has always been the slow service: a plate of ravioli, a veal cutlet with chips, and a dessert served in an average of an hour and a half. It's a shame, because the price is also highly competitive. The waiter is also smart and fast, but the problem clearly lies between him and the kitchen. I can't explain it any other way. Anyway, I repeat, in case you haven't figured it out, the food is very good.

13/04/2026: Despite its name, this traditional Ligurian trattoria is worth a visit. Authentic cuisine, typical dishes, and a healthy, down-to-earth atmosphere. The quality and price are balanced and affordable, and the welcome is friendly and approachable. Fast service.

07/04/2026: Easter lunch to forget. 13 people, including 5 children. Hunger-inducing portions; for example, the ravioli didn't cover the bottom of the plate, and the mixed fried food consisted of 1 stick, 1 semolina, and 1 vegetable. The lucky ones even got an apple. Half a roast beef, I mean, half a slice. Sitting piled high, my daughter had to get up every time someone besides her was served. I had a serious complaint about the bill because the calculations were wrong. The lady smokes while people sitting next to her are eating. Never again!

24/02/2026: Comfortable atmosphere, friendly, polite, and very helpful staff. Lunches are always delicious; I especially like breakfast with their sandwiches.

26/01/2026: Da Angelo is certainly no longer what I knew. The dishes served don't rise above mediocrity. Perhaps it was a quiet night, but the menu was rather limited. The service is inattentive, and the atmosphere is decidedly tired.

14/12/2025: Terrible. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation and were told to wait 10-15 minutes. After at least 20 minutes, what appeared to be the manager came out and told us it would be a bit longer because he didn't have any tables, and offered to sit at two different tables, one for six and one for three. (I'm going out with friends and family so we can sit at different tables, after all.) Naturally, we said yes and that we'd wait. (I also pointed out that I had two little girls, a 5-year-old and an 8-month-old, and that he'd been told the first time we'd had to go to work.) Having said that, he came out for the umpteenth time and almost blamed us for the fact that we'd been accepted for the reservation we'd made the day before for nine people at 1:30 PM. Crazy. I repeat. I've never seen anything like this, and I'll start by saying that I'm not one to write reviews, but I felt truly mocked for the simple fact that he never apologized, not even once. A special mention goes to one or two of the girls who work for him, who are definitely wasted. Thank you so much.

06/04/2026: I recently discovered La Mandragola and I must say it was a very pleasant surprise. Even though we hadn't booked in advance, the staff really went out of their way to find us a table, demonstrating great attention and helpfulness to their customers. A detail that truly makes all the difference today. The restaurant is very characteristic, with a typical Genoese atmosphere that you can feel as soon as you enter. It's well-kept, welcoming, and has an original touch: there's even a piano inside, which adds to the atmosphere. The dining experience was also excellent: we were given excellent advice on the wine selection, which perfectly matched our tastes, a sign of expertise and attention. The appetizers and main courses fully met our expectations, both in terms of quality and flavor. All this was accompanied by an absolutely fair price, considering the level of experience. It's definitely a place to return to and one I would recommend without hesitation.

05/04/2026: Lovely little restaurant in the small streets of Genoa. Staff are very friendly, very good service and great value for money, we had 3 courses each, with 2 alcoholic drinks and it came to 67€. Would definitely return! We were given free shots after our meal too.
