17/01/2025: White lasagna with truffles... unbeatable, as is the game ragout on pumpkin candies. Much attention is paid to the "balancing" of flavors and even an undemanding "palate" is certainly able to grasp the difference compared to the ordinary and perceive how much culinary "study" and "effort" goes into it. Simple but pleasant presentation of the dishes. Superlative dessert: mine was made of overlapping wafers filled with eggnog/chocolate cream but my husband's, made with mascarpone, was also wonderful! Too bad it arrived at the end of the meal.... otherwise I would have done an encore! Abundant dishes and honest cost.

We visited without a reservation, and the staff kindly found us a spot within 10 minutes. The entire team was incredibly friendly, and it was clear this is a family-run business with a deep passion for what they do.
We started with the small bites salumi served with gnocco as an entrée. For our mains, we had the pumpkin ravioli and the stuffed baked potato with truffles. To finish, we enjoyed the zuppa inglese and the salted caramel pudding.
Every dish was excellent—flavourful, filling, and wonderfully unique. I won’t go into detail about the flavors because they speak for themselves—simply outstanding.
10/10 recommend this place!

05/02/2025: Large room, capable of seating many people, bright and clean. The staff is always precise and attentive, courteous and helpful. An extensive menu allows you to choose from a series of first courses, a good choice of meats and even pizza at midday. Nice choice of labels. For a lunch break, even a quick one, or for a dinner with friends. 50 years of history, but updated to today. Well done

11/02/2025: Buongiorno ho portato la famiglia in questo locale consigliatomi da conoscenti…..appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dal personale gentile e disponibile……i piatti con proposta locale e tutti fatti artigianalmente si presentano bene e buonissimi….buona posizione a due passi dalla piazza Maggiore…..vi consiglio di andare, presto intorno alle 12:00 altrimenti sarete costretti a code lunghissime che si fanno fuori dal locale…… la particolarità quando chiedete un caffè vi portano la caffettiera direttamente al tavolo ….diverso dal solito …..ottimo anche il prezzo….a portata di famiglia…..

I'm not kidding when I say it was the worst place I've eaten in my entire life.
Once I arrive they make me sit in an area that looked like a hotel from the 80's, tiny portions of food finished in two forkfuls, cheap and really bad food without a flavor or taste, exorbitant price for what I ate, since after this “ lunch” I had to go to a fast food restaurant so I could have something for lunch.
Taking advantage of it like this is truly heartless.
Obviously I will never go back there again and I advise everyone to do the same.

Piatti davvero buoni con materie prime ottime.
Polenta fritta con caciotta tartufata e granella di nocciole.
Balanzoni bolognesi con crema al mascarpone e guanciale croccante, gnocchetti di patate con prosciutto croccante radicchio aceto balsamico e scaglie di grana, tagliatelle con ragù di cinghiale.

11/01/2025: Le prime volte che sono andato per mangiare una pizza, tutto è andato come si deve: servizio nei tempi giusti, pizza buona e bene tutto il resto. L'ultima volta invece l'esatto contrario! Abbiamo aspettato più di un' ora, senza che nessun cameriere si facesse vivo. Quando i tempi di attesa sono così lunghi, secondo me, si deve trattenere il cliente offrendo qualcosa, tipo snack, grissini, bruschette ecc. senza doverlo chiedere. Invece non si visto nessuno. Inoltre, quando finalmente sono arrivate le pizze ( due su tre, perché per la terza ho atteso quasi altri dieci minuti) non erano buone come al solito e in una addirittura mancava l'ingrediente principale: la mozzarella!!!
Le scuse alla cassa al momento del pagamento, sono sempre accettate, però così non va tanto bene...
