28/01/2024: The dinner, based on Emilian dishes, was discreet. The tortelli with wild asparagus were interesting, but not very well prepared: too much cheese which hid the flavor of the asparagus.
The wine chosen by Tonio was excellent: a stunning Promis from the Gaja winery!

18/04/2024: Forse perché siamo arrivati verso le 1400 invece delle 1330 come prenotato o forse per altri motivi, ma il pranzo al Cavallino è stato sotto alle aspettative.
Davvero sotto alle aspettative il tagliere di salumi, dove il culatello era "trasparente"!
Buoni i ravioli, forse meno buono il Ris Baruter!
Buone la Supreme di Cappone!
Dolci...abbiamo chiesto 2 Crostata, ci hanno portato un tris di sbrisolona, crostata e un altra torta che non era quello ordinato! e questo abbassa di più il giudizio!
Cordiale accoglienza del Proprietario, lascia un attimo a desiderare il servizio!
Ci devo ritornare perché il mio giudizio è in conflitto con le voci ed i giudizi dei residenti!
15/04/2024: Per festeggiare il mio compleanno io e il mio compagno abbiamo scelto questo ristorante e devo dire che si è rivelata un'ottima decisione. Abbiamo optato per il menù del buon ricordo composto da antipasto misto(giardiniera,strolghino e tre tipologie di culatello da 20,30 e 40 mesi accompagnati da riccioli di burro),tagliolini verdi con culatello croccante,guancialino di maiale con verdure miste e semifreddo al caffè e mandorle,tre calici di vino a testa,acqua e caffè. Tutto davvero buonissimo. Speso 130€ in due. Ottima esperienza e titolare gentilissimo,stessa cosa per il personale

informal trattoria environment just the way I like it,
wine list with various proposals,
prices in line with other restaurants, periodically live music, very convenient parking, without architectural barriers to access the restaurant.
In summer also covered outside.
Desserts next time.

18/03/2024: Everything at the top. 5 stars are few for this delightful little restaurant on the outskirts of the center of Reggio Emilia. The excellent quality raw materials are expertly combined to maintain the taste of tradition with a small touch of originality. Cozy place, tables arranged correctly, impeccable cleanliness.
The service is absolutely excellent, professional but not detached, welcoming and never intrusive. And above all, be careful about food allergies and intolerances.
The price is in line with the quality offered.
Thanks to all the staff. Highly recommended.

30/04/2024: I was here for a baptism, very clean place, excellent service and young and competent dining room staff, attention to detail and professional behavior that was up to the task, despite the clientele being demanding.
From the appetizer buffet to the dessert, everything was very balanced and well presented; unfortunately it fell on the second course of meat, which was slightly stringy (personal taste).
I will definitely be back!

05/05/2024: Typical and genuine tavern, warm atmosphere, like those of the past. Traditional cuisine. Good prices. But that's not all.
Each dish expresses wisdom and passion, offering almost forgotten exquisite flavours. Never had tortellini of such perfect shape and such top quality! The gnocchi? Exceptional. Every order leads to very pleasant emotions and sensations. The place is a little far away, but it's worth traveling a few extra kilometers to enjoy real and pleasant caresses on the palate. We thank those who recommended it to us, and we in turn recommend it to everyone!

Very good quality local product: gnocco fritto, exquisite tigelle accompanied by a tray of affettati (various local sausages), accompaniments to taste...and a good homemade dessert from Mrs. Giovanna.
Super friendly, professional and very good quality-price.
Mandatory stop if you are in the area. It is advisable to reserve, it is usually very busy.
26/03/2024: Absolutely worth trying are the tortellini in broth, the fried gnocco and tigelle, all to die for.
Excellent quality/price ratio to say the least.
If you pass through these areas, you can't miss it.

02/05/2024: We noticed it when we were returning from the castle of Roccabianca, a characteristic place, I was sitting next to a window overlooking some hanging cured meats, they were tempting just to look at them. excellent lunch, friendly and professional staff. we will definitely return
28/04/2024: While traveling to Fidenza we noticed this place and without thinking too much, we booked by phone for lunch. The place looks very good, clean where you can immediately breathe the air of home that makes you feel really good and we are welcomed by Anna, Daniela's daughter the owner, who makes us sit down and we immediately feel pampered... with such professionalism and kindness. The menu is typical of the Parma area with really interesting and above all not good proposals... but more... and since we were only able to taste some of the dishes proposed by Daniela, we should definitely go back.
Thanks to the staff for a nice day.

Se non entri a mangiare, il Ristorante potrebbe restare sconosciuto per sempre, ma se mangi qui una volta non puoi fare altro se non ritornarci!
25/02/2024: Arrivati a questo ristorante sull’argine del fiume, ambiente caloroso e personale disponibile. Buoni i salumi ( culatello 24 mesi un po’ fresco), buoni i primi, eccellente la tagliata tenerissima. Ottimi i dolci. Se devo proprio fare una critica, manca il menù al tavolo, ma viene declamato.
