Classic lowland trattoria. Everything done with passion, the dishes tasted good. Valid service. Great place. Here perhaps, the prices are justified by the care with which the structure is kept.

The Ardenga restaurant is a true hidden jewel in the lower Parma area. We were struck by its authenticity and the warm welcome of the excellent hostess, Mrs. Daniela. It is a place that makes you feel at home and pampers you with delicious cuisine. Everything from the starter to the dessert was really good. It would be a crime, being in the area, not to stop and savor all these delicacies. Highly recommended

a different christmas day lunch for us this year. recommended this osteria by friends so took a drive down to the ardenga. polenta,culatello,salumi, spalla cotta and tris parmense to start for the 4 of us, all good quality and tasty. we all ordered a different pasta dish although the tortelli di zucca lacked flavour all the other were good. 3 boiled meats and 1 veal dish for mains. washed down with excellent red and white wines 4 dolci and 4 coffees to finish 292 euros for 4 seemed a little on the high side and dont know if this was because of the date 25/12/23 but definatley higher than the listed prices on the website. enjoyable experience

Durante un viaggio abbiamo deciso di uscire dall autostrada per fermarci a pranzo. Ci siamo imbattuti in questa osteria dove sembra di entrare a casa. Cibo ottimo che rievoca i classici pranzi fatti dalle nonne, materia prima di qualità e gentilezza dei ristoratori. Consiglio vivamente questo posto per chi ama mangiare con semplicità ma con ottimo gusto.

Consigliatissimo per la gentilezza del personale e per l’ambiente caldo e casalingo. Super pisarei con culatello e sbrisolona con zabaione caldo.

19/03/2024: Beautiful, quiet and very well looked after place! The owners are very attentive to detail, order and cleanliness.! Compliments! Typical Parmigiana cuisine that is truly very good with a choice of selected, quality first courses and second courses! Excellent value for money 👍

Trattoria Vernizzi

15/03/2024: Typical 1960s family-run trattoria from these places...plate of culatello with sublime butter flakes, sufficient pisarei, guinea fowl with potatoes and excellent cooked coppa. Table service is better from the owner than from the only sulky waitress. Good dessert but portion for newborn. Drinkable house wine. Modest price €25 per person.
18/02/2024: If you are looking for a typical experience, this is the right place: the place is characteristic and the traditional food they serve is delicious. It's not exactly easy to reach, but once you get there you are truly catapulted into a village house in the middle of the Po Valley.
