25/08/2025: A wonderful experience. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The cured meats were truly delicious, but the meat was: 🔝Quality. I've never had red chili peppers this good, and the desserts were also very good. Highly recommended.

10/08/2025: Gorgeous terrace, quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Good food, friendly waiters. I recommend the monkfish ravioli topped with yellow and red cherry tomatoes, excellent. Fairly priced.

12/03/2025: Ero stato in questo locale qualche anno fa’ ed essendo di passaggio mi sono fermato per pranzo. Ho ritrovato un bellissimo ambiente con il cameriere e il proprietario molto cortesi e affabili. Il pranzo è stato molto buono in tutto, la cucina è tipica e caratteristica del territorio, pranzare in questo locale è stato come mangiare al tavolo di casa con cibi genuini, saporiti e abbondanti. Il costo giusto con quello consumato ed il servito fornito. Quando sarò in zona ci tornerò con estremo piacere.
08/03/2025: Tra mare e campagna, a Sellia Marina, c'è un localino delizioso, sorto dove, molto tempo fa, c'era un frantoio. L'atmosfera è calda e familiare e il grande camino, adornato da un presepe perenne, contribuisce a rendere la permanenza ancora più piacevole. Stiamo parlando del"Nozzularu", un'"Ostepizza", come i proprietari amano chiamarla, in cui tutto è fatto a mano, dalle stoviglie, in ceramica squillacese, al menù, scritto a mano. L'antipasto è ricco e vario, la pizza è gustosa, il vino della casa è schiumoso e frizzante e la torta di noci e fichi è una prelibatezza da non perdere.

11/08/2025: Exactly one year later, we decided to dine again at this restaurant located in the splendid Piazza della Repubblica. The reservation was the same, but when we arrived at the appointed time, we realized there wasn't a table ready (except for a cramped table in a side alley). We waited for a better table and, after a few minutes, we were seated at a coffee table set for four. No complaints about the food or the speed of service, which were excellent, but the four plates were much larger than the table, and about a third of the plate overflowed, risking that, when cutting the pizza, it would end up on your clothes (!). And that's not to mention the fact that we had to put our drinks on the floor; otherwise, it would have been impossible to eat. I waited for one of the waiters to volunteer, but nothing happened. Gentlemen, it was nice to enjoy your food, but this situation is absolutely unacceptable: try to improve the welcome or avoid taking the reservation.
08/08/2025: Before we sat down, we wondered why everyone was eating pizza, even though it's a seafood restaurant. Well, I have to say I understand; the others probably already knew the place. Let's just say the whole dinner was nothing special. It's definitely not a place worth returning to. P.S. They'll try to sell you sushi, because Pizzo is famous for its sushi. N.B.: Two stars for encouragement.

21/07/2025: An osteria in the heart of a charming village in the Graecanic area of Calabria, a place of flavors, traditions, and identity. I had an incredible and delicious eggplant parmigiana, flavorful and tender stuffed tomatoes, and typical meatballs with a hearty, home-made flavor. You can't miss them, and then the pitta bread, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, fragrant and delicious. Flavorful and authentic. If you're passing through, you have to go. Turiuleddu is a guarantee and you feel a bit like family.

19/04/2025: Wonderful restaurant, wonderful original food, wonderful attentive service! Expensive but we felt it was worth the price. The dishes are tiny jewels of flavour, but don’t fret, there are a lot of them. We left feeling quite satisfied.

Le foto, per quanto curate, non possono restituire la complessità e la raffinatezza di ogni piatto, né l’emozione di un percorso gastronomico costruito con passione, tecnica e profondo rispetto per la materia prima. La brigata di cucina lavora con una sinergia rara, dando vita a creazioni che parlano del territorio calabrese con uno sguardo contemporaneo. Ogni portata è un racconto autentico, capace di sorprendere per equilibrio, gusto e presentazione. Un ringraziamento speciale alla signora Rosetta , presenza calorosa e attenta in sala, che rende l’esperienza ancora più accogliente e familiare. E al sommelier Bruno, guida competente e appassionata, che con eleganza accompagna il viaggio sensoriale con abbinamenti sempre centrati. Abbruzzino è una tappa imprescindibile per chi cerca cucina d’autore, ospitalità sincera e l’emozione di sentirsi a casa anche in un ristorante stellato.

21/08/2025: My boyfriend and I had dinner at this place, discovered on a friend's recommendation. We were delighted, starting with the warm welcome from the staff, who made us feel right at home. We ordered the house appetizer, two first courses, a second course, and a side dish to share. We left feeling full (especially considering the generous portions 😁) and very satisfied with the food. Each dish was prepared with love and using locally sourced, quality ingredients. Typical Calabrian cuisine, just like home. We recommend the eggplant meatballs, the fileja with pork ragù, and the pollo al mattone (which was incredible 🫠). Absolutely fair prices. We'll definitely be back.
10/08/2025: We had dinner. The best Calabrian food you can get. The appetizers are amazing, really good. The beans were top notch, the grilled vegetables were top notch (even better than mine 😎). The handmade Fileia were truly exceptional. The best? The eggplant ones 🍆. Too bad I didn't get the rabbit.

12/08/2025: Located in Camigliatello Silano, just steps from Lake Cecita and the Calabria National Park (Cupone), magnificent and enchantingly beautiful places in the Sila Mountains. La Tavernetta has proven to be a special place, where simplicity and tradition combine with research and innovation, resulting in a top-notch mix, a perfect blend of traditional and gourmet cuisine. A very extensive menu. For appetizers, we had a mix of locally sourced cured meats and cheeses and a fresh mushroom salad. We had two first courses: tagliatelle with mushrooms and ravioli with mushrooms and truffles. For the main course, we had sirloin of Podolica (a wild Sila cattle breed) and a tender Calabrian black pig roulade, both exceptional. Even the dessert, a handmade millefeuille, was superb. All expertly explained directly by the Chef, who conveyed his passion for cooking and his love for the flavors of his homeland with great warmth and empathy. The location, a typical Sila rural farmhouse, is elegant and welcoming in its simplicity. Exceptional value for money. We'll be back.
20/07/2025: Gluten-free food available. I'm celiac and they have two pasta shapes available, the main courses are almost all gluten-free. The food is obviously of the highest quality, as already noted in the other reviews. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would have appreciated a greater availability of gluten-free first courses, but overall it was a great experience.

07/04/2025: Advertising is like lies, they have short legs... I have to say that I was very disappointed with everything, quality, price, 0000, a homemade starter paid €20 but it wasn't even worth €5 for the quality and proportion, all recycled and freshly heated stuff and terrible taste, not to mention the super salty and raw bread made with pizza dough, so I'll leave you to imagine what the pizza might be like. The stinging only had the name sninging. If I can give you some advice, change your job... you're born a restaurateur, you can't invent yourself on the spot

01/06/2025: Prenotato in mattinata, personale gentile ed accogliente. pranzo di domenica, locale con tutti i tavoli occupati, ma in meno di 1 ora avevamo finito di pranzare. rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. cicoria selvatica saltata in padella da non perdere
26/04/2025: Locale carino al centro di Cicita, cucina classica a mio parere con nulla di esaltante. Prezzi leggermente al di sopra della media per i ristoranti del posto. Cortesia di alcuni dei camerieri che lascia un po a desiderare.

02/08/2025: Esperienza deludente carpe diem a Tropea. Il tavolo assegnato aveva una vista sgradevole sul bagno, lasciato con la porta aperta mostrando costantemente il water. L’attesa per il primo piatto ha superato i 45 minuti, senza spiegazioni convincenti. I piatti deludenti: fritto misto troppo cotto e scarso, spaghetti al riccio di mare privi di ricci e appesantiti dall’olio, spaghetti alle vongole insipidi e con molte conchiglie vuote. Unico punto positivo il vino, ma al momento del riordino ci è stato comunicato che non era più disponibile. Anche il servizio è apparso trascurato, con bicchieri da vino tutti diversi. In sintesi, gravi carenze nella gestione e nella cucina.
26/07/2025: Il ristorante pur essendo in pieno centro si trova in una piazzetta molto tranquilla. Sono stata a Tropea in vacanza per una settimana e sono stata da Carpe Diem due volte. Ho fatto subito presente le mie intolleranze al glutine e al lattosio e ho mangiato una pizza davvero buona. Gabriele molto disponibile e gentile, è stato un piacere scoprire questo posto!
