27/03/2024: First of all, the food was outstanding. The dishes were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I would say the same for the raw dishes. The server was also very attentive and generous, giving us help with the menu, and offering us tastes of wines. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you want to have a quiet, relaxing, and magnificent dinner.

23/03/2024: The restaurant is small, only 6 or 7 tables, so that surprised us, but the experience was ultimately excellent. The lobster pasta was one of the most delicious pastas I've ever eaten. I appreciate the pasta noodles were not overly all dente, done perfectly.

06/04/2024: Been in Rome 4 days now, eating at many different restaurants and can say that this was our best experience so far. Beautiful food and very friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone.

24/02/2024: Locale molto carino all'interno e rinnovato da poco, elegante nello stile. Selezione di antipasti buonissima, ricca nella varietà e buona di gusto. Ampia scelta tra primi e secondi (sia carne che pesce), rispettando sempre le pietanze tradizionali. Buoni anche i dolci. Personale gentile.

02/04/2024: Five stars is the minimum...!! I'll start by saying that Mr.Salvatore is an exceptional person, very welcoming, friendly.... attentive to the customer's needs. Friendly, discreet and friendly staff. Exceptional cuisine...excellent starters, first and second courses...main dish peppered with mussels...very fresh, tasty, a real spectacle. Price in the norm.. actually happy with the bill for the quality of the raw materials. We will be back for sure!! Thanks...keep it up!

14/09/2023: Very nice environment, welcoming atmosphere, adequate background music, impeccable service. Unusual combinations and appropriate technique: they are excellent. Dishes presented with care, personally illustrated by chef Tony. In my opinion it deserves a Michelin star.

14/09/2023: Ambiente molto curato, atmosfera accogliente , musica di sottofondo adeguata, servizio impeccabile. Cibo ottimo , accostamenti inusuali che risultano armonici. Piatti presentati con cura nei dettagli e illustrati personalmente dallo chef Tony meriterebbe una stella Michelin.

16/03/2024: I truly miss La Lamia! It was my favorite spot in Tropea. The cozy atmosphere and the unparalleled cuisine made every visit a memorable experience. La Lamia offers a taste sensation like no other, and I long to return and indulge in their delicacies once again. While Tropea boasts many restaurants, for me, La Lamia is hands down the best choice!

02/01/2024: The ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful, the service is very professional. I drank Ciro white wine, which was excellent, and the price of the wine was also reasonable. I took three starters: oysters - very good, melancani - no taste, a plate of red onions in different ways - I recommend, interesting and tasty.

31/03/2024: Tutto perfetto. Il ristorante sorge in un piccolo vicoletto del centro storico di Tropea. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto a base di salumi e formaggi locali e due primi: uno spaghetto alle vongole e una fideja alla tropeana. A dir poco spettacolare. Tutto ottimo. Consiglio

03/03/2024: For the first time I am writing a review without having dined in this place😕...that's right, after having booked a table for 2 well in advance, arriving on site even 10 minutes earlier than expected, we hear from the manager that our table had been moved😒🤔...the external gazebo, closed on the sides by windproof plasticized panels, was in fact full except for a small table set up for 4...I think therefore, they will place us there!!😌...instead... we see the waiter take a table outside the restaurant and bring it inside, not into the gazebo!, placing it between two other tables in the center of the passage in front of the service counter😦😖😤 just like a roundabout...a complete arrangement 'other than planned, better said "arranged" in a terrible way! So we decide to give up dinner and behind us also 2 other families who had been offered the same table!! I feel like giving some advice to the restaurateurs of the restaurant...welcoming towards customers (the so-called Service) must be one of the main elements for a restaurant, therefore invest with resources and adequate staff...let's make sure that this Earth grow in the true sense of the word...

29/03/2024: If the owner is called the professor, there will be a reason, and this reason is that the professor of the Cosenza winery offers in his kitchen a purely typical menu of Cosenza cuisine, with a very high level quality of the products offered at the table, a very refined place at the foot of old Cosenza. If you come to Cosenza you can't help but come and eat at the professor's!

19/03/2024: Since I was a girl, DonGio' has been synonymous with very honest, good food in a place that becomes family if you only go back for the third time! Everything really works well for an evening that can go from informative to formal! Yet another excellent testimony to what can truly be defined as a family tradition!

24/03/2024: Amazing restaurant, Very particular location, upon entering you find yourself on a very welcoming veranda and then cross the threshold of the restaurant... we find ourselves in this large room with several tables, warm colors cover the walls and the display of paintings where the values ​​of the old ones are shown traditions. The staff is very welcoming, we were well received, which was very welcome, for the menu we asked the staff for advice on how to taste the local specialties and I must say that I was truly amazed by the quantity of tastings that arrived...!! Never seen so much food.. for 7 people..!! Trust me when I tell you that we really struggled to finish it also due to the considerable and much appreciated quantity over the quality..!!! In addition to the starters you can see from the photos published, we took advice again and said that the first courses were also super abundant and really good.. I highly recommend...!
