A welcoming, intimate place. The ingredients are top-quality for a place not on the seafront. The dishes are delicious and balanced, with seafood as the main ingredient. The service is attentive and helpful. The price is fair for the area and the quality of the food. I would gladly return.

To be pampered by the chef, we opted for the tasting menu, which included multiple courses paired with a bottle of wine. We asked if we could order another bottle, and they obliged, with no change in price. The courses were absolutely delicious. The crispy octopus and the salmon and tuna tartare were the icing on the cake, topped off with excellent service. The place is super intimate, with limited seating (reservations are recommended), and very welcoming. If we ever return to Rome, we'll definitely be back. Thank you 😚

In the heart of Via del Boschetto, a small restaurant. Without exaggeration, the best fish I've ever eaten. A surprise, considering it's Rome. Every dish was exquisite, of unparalleled quality. The presentation was meticulously crafted; the service was impeccable. The space is a bit cramped, and the tables are not very far apart, but the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience make it definitely worth it. Highly recommended. We'll gladly return.

I never would have imagined finding a restaurant like this in one of the many narrow streets around the Cavour metro station. During a business dinner, I appreciated the freshness of the fish and the great care with which it's prepared and presented: from the cod tempura to the shrimp, salmon, and tuna tartare, from the king crab paccheri to the sea bass steak... everything was excellent!!!
The pairing with a pleasant Gewurztraminer was also spot on.
A very small restaurant (maximum 18 seats), attentive service, and fair prices.
We'll definitely see you again.

A wonderful culinary experience at Valerio's.
A small but welcoming place.
This restaurant offers only seafood dishes and excellent white wines to pair them with.
The service was very prompt and prompt, the staff was smiling and efficient, and the dishes we ordered were a true delight.
The octopus literally melted in our mouths, while the paccheri tasted of the sea, and the sauce was amazing. Finally, the dessert truly amazed me with how good it was, very pleasing to the palate and not cloying.
The only downside was that the atmosphere was a bit dark, but that's easily fixable :)
I recommend it to everyone, especially those celebrating an anniversary or birthday, because the low, dim lighting gives me the feel of a romantic place.

I often frequent seafood restaurants in Rome. This one is truly a gem not to be missed. It's in the top three. The raw fish appetizer includes dentex tartare, calamari tagliatelle, salmon tartare, tuna tartare, and finally shrimp tartare. A delight. The first courses were also excellent; we tried the dishes with Mazzara shrimp and the one with octopus, nduja, and ricotta, both perfectly balanced and flavorful. An intimate restaurant, attentive service, and a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Give it a try!
