21/04/2026: I decided to visit because it was near my Airbnb and had good reviews. I ordered the fried rice and mapo tofu, which are popular choices. The fried rice looked so pale that I wondered if it would taste good, but it was very flavorful and the rice was perfectly fluffy. The mapo tofu was decent, too! I ordered the fried meat with lemon on top just because it looked delicious in the picture, haha, but it turned out to be chicken. The sauce is a little sour, but the meat is incredibly tender! I recommend visiting at least once if you're tired of Italian food!

16/04/2026: I really enjoyed the meal 🩷 The two of us ordered 4 dishes and scraped every last bit clean. I understood why everyone says to order one fried rice per person the moment I took a bite… 🫶 4 dishes + cola + water for 35 euros!!! The price was great too ㅠㅠ It's a shame I only found out about it on the last day so I could only go once!

20/03/2026: It must be tough being away from home. As a Sichuan native, I ordered a cold pig ear salad and their signature chicken feet, but they were awful and a waste of money. The pig ear salad was overcooked, too mushy, and the knife skills were terrible. The chicken feet were stale and greasy.

01/04/2026: I've become a regular at Arte d'Oriente, and over time, this place has become a firm fixture for me. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the service is always efficient and punctual. The space is spacious yet maintains an intimate and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a quiet evening. The staff is friendly and quick, and the owner is always smiling and present. The cuisine is varied and reliable, with excellent value: they're definitely honest! Every visit is confirmation: you eat well here, you feel at ease, and you'll always want to return.

29/03/2026: In a Florence overrun with Airbnbs, steakhouses, and cooking classes, finding authentic places is increasingly difficult... but if you look carefully, a few gems still emerge. This is exactly one of those places. I don't even know its name—and perhaps that's its charm. It offers a 7-euro lunch menu: a first and second course of Chinese cuisine, simple, straightforward, and without too many frills. You sit down, eat, and leave: no frills. It's the classic spot that doesn't want to impress but rather work, and it does. It feeds you, you spend the right amount, and you leave satisfied, without thinking too much. Pierre degustateur approves, without asking too many questions.

14/02/2026: I haven’t eaten such a good ramen for a VERY long time. The taste is balanced in every product: very dense but still super light and easy-going noodles, absolutely delicious beef, a right balance of greens and a proper amount of the broth. I mean, that was (without exaggeration or flattery) a perfect experience. And on top of that you have it very quick from a super welcoming & pleasant stuff. Thank you🫶🏼

05/02/2026: This restaurant is conveniently located not too far from where we were staying in Florence, which was a big plus, especially since walking long distances in the cold can be quite uncomfortable. We ordered the Lanzhou Ramen Classic (Large - €16.50) and the Sautéed Spaghetti with Vegetables & Chicken (Large - €15.50). The latter is essentially a fried noodle dish with chicken and vegetables. Both dishes were served in generous portions and were satisfying, comforting, and well-seasoned, making them a great option on a chilly day. Overall, we enjoyed the food and found it tasty and filling. That said, we do wish there was a bit more variety on the menu, particularly when it comes to noodle and rice dishes. All in all, it’s a solid spot for a warm and satisfying meal. Good food!

24/03/2026: Terrible restaurant. The menu doesn't list any ingredients, and customers can't tell if there are any food allergies or intolerances. The service is entirely plastic, and it's like being at a National Unity Day celebration. I DON'T KNOW HOW A PLACE LIKE THIS CAN STAY OPEN.

27/10/2025: Can't say enough about the awesome soup we ate. We had the shrimp and beef spicy wontons. Ingredients were fresh and the soup was so tasty. Would give it a 6 star if I could!

27/03/2026: Love this place in Florence.After 2 days of eating pizza n pasta my stomach couldn’t take any more Italian food This place is close to accademia galleria . Grandma noodles , mapo tofu , sweet n sour chicken were awesome We ordered a soup can’t remember the name but that was the highlight. Very very spicy with peanuts also in it. One of a kind. Very very nice Chinese food in Florence. Best memory in Florence apart from site seeing)

25/02/2026: After admiring David at the Academy Gallery, I stumbled upon Grandma's Home restaurant around the corner, and the food was surprisingly good. It's rare to find such authentic Chinese food abroad. I was very satisfied with the dishes we ordered for lunch, so I went back for dinner. I don't know if it was because of two different chefs or different dishes, but the taste was slightly inferior to lunch.

11/03/2026: The best sushi in the entire Empoli area. Even the staff, including the owner, are incredibly kind and can't go unnoticed. Also excellent for takeout and home delivery.

12/04/2026: Very very good food, really enjoyed an asian meal in Florence. Very happy to have just stumbled upon this place. Enjoyed the noodles and dimsums. Mist dine here if you want good asian food.
