Hands down the best Chinese meal we had in Florence! After a long day of walking and visiting galleries, we were exhausted and craving something comforting, and this place exceeded all expectations. We ordered mapo tofu, yuxiang shredded pork, and a dry pot, and every dish was packed with authentic flavor and great wok hei—exactly what we needed. The mapo tofu was rich and perfectly spicy, the yuxiang shredded pork had that classic sweet-savory balance, and the dry pot was crispy and delicious, all great with rice. What made it even better was the owner, who was so kind and welcoming. We arrived late, but they were still open and made us feel so welcome, which was such a nice touch after a tiring day. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Chinese food in Florence, especially if you’re a tourist looking for a late meal, this is the spot. Highly recommend to anyone craving home-style comfort food in the city!

Love this place in Florence.After 2 days of eating pizza n pasta my stomach couldn’t take any more Italian food This place is close to accademia galleria . Grandma noodles , mapo tofu , sweet n sour chicken were awesome We ordered a soup can’t remember the name but that was the highlight. Very very spicy with peanuts also in it. One of a kind. Very very nice Chinese food in Florence. Best memory in Florence apart from site seeing)

After admiring David at the Academy Gallery, I stumbled upon Grandma's Home restaurant around the corner, and the food was surprisingly good. It's rare to find such authentic Chinese food abroad. I was very satisfied with the dishes we ordered for lunch, so I went back for dinner. I don't know if it was because of two different chefs or different dishes, but the taste was slightly inferior to lunch.

Apparently Florence is where to go in Italy for good Chinese food. Who knew? The local Asian community all seems to eat there, and I think that I know why. Inexpensive, great service, and all our dishes were wonderful. I would also add that no meal there is complete without Nonna's fried rice.

Nice staff and good food. The sale was 4€ which was really cheap. They also have a 7€ offer for lunch

Expensive for the quality of the food

Very good delicious authentic Asian food with very reasonable prices near to the Academmia! I was surprised at how affordable the dishes were. The Japanese ramen and Chongqing Noodles both had good tasting broth. Their fried noodles was also very tasty, as was the fried rice cakes and the cauliflower wok dish. All their fried dishes had good Wok Hey (wok charring which makes the food really tasty, a skill good Chinese chefs have to have). Highly highly recommend for those craving Asian food or even if not, come and try some Asian food. There were many non Asians when we were there too. Service was also impeccable. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Such a gem! I wished I had better photos but we got distracted by the food and started eating right away! EDIT: We came back a second time and it did not disappoint. This time I took pictures!

The spicy chicken and dry-fried green beans were absolutely delicious!!!

Ordered takeout twice, delicious lowkey, amazing ravioli, and perfect portions. The owner is lovely ❤️
