16/11/2025: We don't usually write negative reviews, but we hope our experience can be helpful to someone. My girlfriend and I went for dinner on Saturday, November 15, 2025. The restaurant was completely non-existent, so I had to wear a jacket to dine. Our table lacked the glasses we had to request (they brought them to us when the food arrived, so we couldn't drink for a good half hour). We ordered at 9:15 PM and didn't touch any food until at least 9:40 PM (the restaurant wasn't busy). The uramaki were passable, the ravioli were watery and had a filling that was hard to swallow, and the shrimp skewers were half raw. We ate little and poorly, and we left after almost an hour, disappointed. Another negative note: some of the plates were chipped. It's not the main thing, but at least intact plates give the impression of a clean and elegant place. All this for a cool €30 per person (the normal price for an all-you-can-eat sushi place, but at least where the food is good). We've tried a lot of sushi, and we came here precisely because it used to be very good, but the new management has disappointed us.

16/11/2025: Wonderful place and excellent food, even the presentation of the dishes. The only thing that could be improved is that I asked a waiter a question and he didn't hear me. When they serve you, they seem very reserved, not even the slightest smile, they bring the plate and turn away. Otherwise, I will definitely go back and I highly recommend it.

03/07/2026: The food honestly didn't satisfy me at all. It had a strange flavor, and having tried and eaten at many sushi restaurants, including Domo Sushi and King Sushi in Milan, I'm used to a certain type of quality. You could tell from the way the sushi was presented that it wasn't good at all. The staff was nice, but the place was sad and the food was not very good.

23/06/2026: Cute little place, friendly and efficient, great service and good quality, very homey. I did the all-you-can-eat option, and everything was good, but the menu was smaller than typical all-you-can-eat options. The location wasn't up to par with the typical huge sushi place with lots of privacy, fancy decor, and digital menus, etc., but nothing to complain about, very trattoria-style.

18/01/2026: We went back last night. I'm sorry, but the food has become extremely poor quality, both in terms of raw materials and processing. I don't recommend the soy spaghetti with vegetables (the vegetables are almost nonexistent and the broth is thin).

01/12/2025: I ordered takeout and home delivery. Everything was delicious, with some unexpected freebies. Delivery time was met right on time. Compliments for everything! I'll definitely be back!

06/06/2026: High-end Japanese all-you-can-eat. Clean and elegant, the restaurant serves fresh, high-quality seafood, carefully prepared and presented. The portions aren't huge, but given the menu, they're perfectly fine. Service is fairly quick, and the wait staff is courteous and friendly. Ample parking is available in front of the restaurant. Book online or by phone. Highly recommended!

03/06/2026: Sakana, one of the legendary best sushi places in Matera. The menu consists of various meals, first courses, desserts, and SUSHI!!!!! The staff is very kind, and obviously Japanese! (No offense, of course) The atmosphere is beautiful; if you sit outside, it's very nice and cool. I recommend it! The cat approves! In fact, SUPER APPROVED!

18/04/2026: The grilled skewers were indeed quite good, but the noodles were a bit disappointing; they weren't handmade. It's very close to the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore), making it a good place for skewers.

10/06/2026: A lovely restaurant located on the Taranto waterfront, with a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the castle! Very good, high-quality food, fast, and efficient service.

07/05/2026: This Chinese takeout restaurant is excellent for a quick and affordable lunch. It's also a good option for a walk-in dinner with the infamous takeout boxes, but keep in mind that during busy times, the wait can be long; overall, however, service is quite fast. The menu is limited to a few basics, a list of optional additions, and three types of dumplings. The food is very good, and the portions are decent considering the price. The restaurant, unfortunately, is rather bare and anonymous.

05/07/2026: Tonight we had dinner at OK Sushi, now called Kaido. The place has been renovated, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. Everything was delicious. The staff was attentive and very friendly. We had a lovely evening. We'll definitely be back.

06/06/2026: We went for lunch last Saturday, it's located on the first floor above the penny market. Honest, good-quality food.

01/01/2026: I ordered takeout on New Year's Eve. The food was good, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I noticed that instead of raising the prices, they gave me a discount. I'd definitely go back.

27/12/2025: A completely new restaurant with a modern style. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent dishes, a wide selection. Prices are in line with the type of restaurant. I recommend making a reservation; it's very popular. Takeout is very generous, but they often don't respect pickup times, especially when the restaurant is busy.

25/06/2026: I had the noodles with shrimp and vegetables, they were very tasty. The food was prepared quickly. Nice staff.

24/06/2026: This is a great place to come when you're tired of pasta or European food! I ordered the Mapo Tofu less spicy, and the level of spiciness and flavor was just right for Koreans to love. (Slightly spicy) I even ordered an extra bowl of rice. I recommend this place if you want to soothe your stomach while traveling!

19/04/2026: Chinese and Japanese restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food. You can order à la carte or all you can eat. Fair prices. Also suitable for a quick lunch. Also suitable for children; my granddaughter loves it. The menu has recently been updated and includes many more dishes (especially the dinner menu), and they are truly delicious.
