12/05/2025: we went for dinner this evening, honestly we were quite disappointed... the robots that offer the service as if they were waiters are sponsored and that's not the case, but leaving that aside the food wasn't good... some dishes such as ravioli/prawn sticks seemed to be reheated, just as the salmon didn't seem very fresh, the rest tasted like nothing. having tried several sushi I would say that we will avoid this one next time, furthermore the service was not very professional: the young waiter kept staring at us. on the other hand, a large menu and a beautiful location. we won't be back

10/06/2025: I went there for lunch and I have to say I ate quite well. The service was good and I was kindly advised, around 2:35 pm, to make a last possible order as the kitchen would be closing in a little while. The only flaw was seeing at the entrance several order notes on the floor which gave me a sense of disorder and the armchairs a little worn on the backs in vimpelle. However, overall, it is not bad to eat in this place.

09/05/2025: I had lunch alone at this place on a Friday. I was thrilled with the dishes, although in order to try more I overdid it and ended up with the wrong dish, or at least one that didn't meet my tastes. The excessive sweetness of this appetizer spoiled the excellent mix of flavors that had accompanied my lunch up to that point. I still wanted to give the food 4 stars because the combinations with regional Italian products were particularly successful. The mushroom appetizer with Sulmona red garlic was perfect for me, and the sweet and spicy pork was excellent. The setting is well-kept, but unfortunately I can't give more than 2 stars because the style of the place, in my opinion, is a bit cold and impersonal, even though there is a comfortable atmosphere. The service was punctual and discreet. I will definitely be back 👍🏻.

09/06/2025: A true gem in the heart of Reggio Emilia! Taiko Sushi has become my go-to place when I want quality sushi. The dishes are simply delicious, prepared with care that you can see and taste at first bite. The fish is very fresh, it literally melts in your mouth and each dish is a small masterpiece of taste and presentation. The staff is fast, attentive and incredibly friendly: they always make you feel welcome, ready to satisfy every request with a smile. Impeccable service that makes the experience even more enjoyable. I recommend Taiko to anyone looking for authentic sushi served with professionalism. I will definitely be back, and often!

29/05/2025: Unfortunately, everything has changed for the worse. The menu is completely different, with very little variety and exaggeratedly high prices for what is offered. I came in the evening expecting a better experience, instead I found uninterested staff, no smile or welcome. I immediately asked to change tables because the sun was beating down on me and it was very hot. After insisting and asking another girl, they changed my seat huffing, as if it were a disturbance. A real shame, it was one of my favorite places, but I don't think I'll be back.

17/06/2025: Pleasant discovery. Reasonable prices, wide choice of dishes, Italian and Chinese cuisine, double fixed menu and, at lunch, the possibility of a menu of the day to choose from among several courses at a negligible price (drinks and cover charge excluded).

17/12/2024: A few months ago I was convinced by some friends to try a Chinese restaurant, to tell the truth I wasn't very convinced. Very clean place, elegant atmosphere, very welcoming. When choosing the dishes I mentioned the intolerance of peppers, but I immediately perceived that I had not been understood by the boy who took the order. In fact in one dish luckily I noticed the presence of small pieces of peppers.... I told the boy about this unpleasant surprise, but even in this case, I don't think he understood me... There are many people who have food intolerances, with a considerable risk for those with allergy problems. In some cases you risk dying... So I think it is necessary to know the local language, in this case Italian. At the very least always make sure you are understood well.....and check when you can.... For the rest nothing to say!!

09/07/2025: A wonderful place! You have to have patience, spirit of adventure and not be picky.. it will be your paradise as it is for me! Service and environment I should give a star but I don't feel like it, if you go to a place like this you have to buy it from similar places and be aware that you are not going to eat in a starred, but in a battle Chinese restaurant!

27/06/2025: A dive into the real Chinatown. The place is basically located in a former industrial warehouse. The room is very large and air conditioned. The tables are without tablecloths, you eat directly on the wood. Ours was a bit sticky. Even the floor, although clean at first glance, made the soles of our shoes stick. The menu is huge, the portions are exaggerated, the dishes are executed terribly well. The ravioli are handmade and the filling is fabulous. With a portion of each course you can eat for two, which is why the dishes are a bit more expensive than they should be. Friendly and helpful owner.
