10/12/2025: Simply excellent! We went to celebrate our daughter's birthday, who loves sushi. Lunch was served quickly, with an endless variety of dishes. Compliments to the chef for the presentation and attention to detail in each dish. We loved the quality of the food, as well as the friendliness and hospitality we received. 01/12/2025: We had a wonderful time! The restaurant was tastefully decorated, the waiters were smiling, kind, and helpful, and the food was superb. Reading the reviews from those who had a bad experience, I can't help but think that some people should learn to set limits and not eat like there's no tomorrow.

09/11/2025: Yuan Restaurant is a classic for those who live in the Rhine Valley. I've been coming here forever and it's never disappointed! Both the Chinese and Japanese cuisine are excellent. This classic restaurant has retained its character over the years. Ideal for dining with friends or as a couple. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also excellent for takeout.

18/11/2025: I'll start by saying I was a customer and used to go there often, but after the scene the last time, I'll never set foot there again. Now they wanted to charge for a children's menu, which my 4-year-old obviously doesn't eat anything there. The worst thing is that if he touched or tasted even a small piece of a dish I ordered, he'd have to pay. Are you kidding me since a 4-year-old ate Japanese food? Shame on you, but we used to come here often.

04/11/2025: ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED! The dishes were dirty, not to mention the bathrooms, and the service was truly UNACCEPTABLE. One waitress in particular was rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I will never return and I strongly advise anyone not to go there.

02/12/2025: This is not a real Chinese restaurant. Stir-fried spicy pork is soft, tasteless and boiled in the sauce. Stir-fried cabbage is also not fried, just over boiled, over cooked and thrown into a box with no seasoning and zero flavor. Fried bread is fried thin slices of stale bread. I cannot eat more than two bites of this and honestly I don't understand why keep a restaurant open when you deliver food like this? As Asians, it's embarrassing to know that people will believe this is what Asian food is like. Zero effort, zero taste - just a waste of time and money.

24/10/2025: I went to this restaurant for dinner with some friends and I have to say it was a truly fantastic experience! We arrived around 8:00 PM and were served immediately, with great efficiency and courtesy. All the dishes were delicious and plentiful: the sweet and sour fried pork was simply spectacular, it melted in your mouth! The rice noodles with vegetables were also delicious. For dessert, I tried the caramelized fried fruit: I thought it would be heavy, but I was surprised; it was delicious and surprisingly light! I'd especially like to thank the staff for their kindness, helpfulness, and friendliness: not only did they satisfy our curiosity about the Chinese language by teaching us a few words (謝謝 - 不客气 - 服务员, 买单), but they even wrote my sister's name on the mochi plate with the glaze! A truly sweet and much-appreciated gesture. The place is spotless, from the tables to the bathrooms (large and fully equipped). In short, a wonderful experience in every way. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

06/09/2025: Always been there, before and after the renovation, now more than ever cute, welcoming, and Japanese-style. The waiters are always present, and the food is good.

23/11/2025: We had lunch here today. The food was excellent, even more so considering the lower-than-average price. Excellent service; they bring the dishes one at a time so you can enjoy them. We hadn't booked, but they found us a table quickly. We'll be back soon to try the dinner menu.

24/11/2025: The food was excellent. Only one flaw: when we left the restaurant, the smell of the kitchen lingered, perhaps due to the poorly functioning or missing extractor fan.
