15/09/2025: Excellent beach resort with a restaurant. Well-spaced umbrellas, clean restrooms, and a working shower. The food was excellent; everything we tried was delicious, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident. The service was friendly and attentive. You immediately felt at home. It's a shame we couldn't return the next day!

03/11/2025: A lovely pizzeria in Santa Maria di Castellabate. The pizzas are amazing... typically Neapolitan and simply delicious, topped with fresh ingredients. They even serve excellent Bavarian beer, which is a huge plus for me, as I love to enjoy a good German beer with a great pizza. The mousse tart was also very good, as were the coffee and the amaro (a top-notch Jefferson amaro from Calabria). The coffee was complimentary, thank you so much! 😊 I will definitely be back.

06/10/2025: We're not quite there. The restaurant claims to offer gourmet dishes, but the chef isn't up to par. The owner is not at all friendly and is rude when asked for clarification on the dishes on the menu.

23/08/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Hortus in Castellabate. Owner/Chef Costabile Guariglia proved to be not only a hospitable person but a true artist in every sense (he teaches art in Rome). His artistic experience shines through not only in the restaurant, but especially in his cuisine. His dishes are never banal, but creative yet substantial, using only the finest ingredients and what the market offers at the time. It was a wonderful discovery and an excellent experience...from every point of view...we hope to be able to repeat it in the future. Thank you 👏

16/11/2025: WHAT a discovery!! Just off the main pedestrian street in the town centre, from outside the place looks very small whereas they have a large side area so plenty of room. We went for lunch on a Sunday and we will visit again for sure!. Nello himself does the greetings (he is from Naples so the food is also Naples based) and is a very charming host, then a very happy lady came and took our order. We ordered food and drink and despite the number of customers the food arrived quite quickly. We both chose the "Genovese" pasta which is pasta in a special meat sauce and was totally delicious, plus a side plate of broccoli. Together with a carafe of the house red wine (which was also good) we spent a princely 23 Euro per head, EXCELLENT value for money for sure.

09/11/2025: We found ourselves in the alleys of Castellabate by chance and noticed this restaurant... the lady's welcome makes you feel right at home, and Mr. Nello's sweetness is the best. We ordered stuffed zucchini flowers and stuffed anchovies, oh so delicious. Spaghetti with clams and pasta and seafood beans were incredibly delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients; we had to mop up the sauce with the bread. I truly recommend it; everything was delicious.

16/08/2025: In the center of San Marco di Castellabate, finding a gelateria like this is simply unbeatable. A wide variety of flavors, expertly crafted gelato and sorbets, and a friendly staff. They even have seating for those who buy a cone, and there's also an outdoor area for enjoying a delicious cup with exquisite toppings. Anyone visiting San Marco simply must stop here for a delicious gelato.

29/09/2025: Absolutely amazing dinner. The host, chefs and owners are absolutely amazing. They treated us like family. When we come back to Italy from New York again. We will definitely be back. 14/10/2025: My review could end right away by saying that this is a true trattoria. But I want to clarify what I mean. First of all, the dishes, cooked simply, without gimmicks, without unnecessary additions, in short, cooked as they do (or used to do) at home. The baked fusilli with mozzarella and ragù reminded me of my childhood meals: simple, tasty, and filling. The meat (veal) main courses and side dishes were also delicious and flavorful. Then there's the ambiance, simple and simple, but with attentive and attentive service. In short, a true trattoria!

The restaurant is well-maintained and has plenty of seating, the staff is very friendly, and the parking lot is huge. If you want to spend a reasonable amount of money and don't know where to spend a pleasant evening with good food and want to be sure, go to La Fattoria.
