17/10/2023: We have been traveling through much of Italy and the only place where we have had bad food is here. We ordered a Risotto agli Agrumi for 18 euros and we found ourselves with boiled rice without any grace and when I say nothing it is nothing. Clearly the dish did not show even the slightest love for cooking. We also ordered a Sorrento Gnocchi which was good but nothing more. The problem is not the money spent but the experience, taking home a nice memory. In this case it was not so. I hope they can improve and contribute more by having such good local products.

09/10/2023: Posto molto semplice ma gradevole e accogliente, bello lo spazio fuori. Personale cordiale attento e gentile. Un pochino fuori rispetto alle vie centrali di Sorrento piene di locali per turisti ma comunque raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti da Piazza Tasso. Abbiamo preso crocchè, ravioli, gnocchi, risotto agli agrumi. Tutti piatti eccellenti. Segnalo anche la freschezza dell'insalata (aspetto non scontato). Dolci ottimi. Un grazie ai ristoratori. Continuate così.

22/07/2024: Had a vegan croissant and cappuccino for €6. Lovely people, although the road was quite loud.

02/07/2024: The most expensive coffee+croissant we had in whole Italy. Here we paid 6 euro for one croissant and coffee. The coffee was ok, and the croissant not very good. Very loud and chaotic.

03/09/2024: The food was delicious and surrounded by Sofia Loren was a true experience. I would have loved to go back but ran out of time.

02/09/2024: Our Restaurant Review: Donna Sofia, Sorrento Dining at Donna Sofia in Sorrento was an exceptional experience. The food was delicious and authentically Italian, showcasing rich, traditional flavors. The service stood out, with the owner, head waiter and chefs personally greeting us and giving us a tour of their impressive wine cellar. The restaurant was adorned with charming photos of Sofia Loren, adding a delightful touch to the atmosphere. The owner and his wife were incredibly friendly, even offering us a complimentary $40 bottle of red wine upon our departure. We concluded our meal with their famous granita and limoncello shots, making for a perfect ending. I highly recommend Donna Sofia for anyone seeking a genuine Italian dining experience in Sorrento! 11/07/2024: Muito boa comida e excelente atendimento. Badejo cozido perfeitamente bem farto para 2 pessoas. Bem localizado e, apesar de parecer ser turístico demais, demonstrou qualidade. Super recomendo.

23/06/2024: It’s a top bar for couples, small or large groups alike. The staff are wonderful, the drinks are well priced handy for the bus or train station. They provided lots of finger food and snacks on each occasion our large group visited. Would recommend.

15/08/2024: Gelato insipido e prezzi elevati. Se il gelato fosse straordinario chiederei un occhio sul fatto che una colletta microscopica costi 4 euro, la bellezza di un euro in più di gelaterie celeberrime e decisamente migliori. Troppe presenze devono avere "dato alla testa" e fatto smarrire l'attenzione alla qualità che fino al 2021 caratterizzava anche questa gelateria. D'altronde le recensioni servono a poco quando c'è un flusso turistico che assicura lauti guadagni anche troppi sforzi... Spero che tornino i tempi della sobrietà, perché questa moda del "tanti soldi e nulla cambio " deve finire.

04/08/2024: We stopped by first to have a iced coffee which was amazing and then noticed they offered pizza making class. We signed up for the class and was immediately greeted by the owner Theresa. The entire experience was truly amazing. Theresa made us feel like family and was so welcoming. This was absolutely the best part of our trip to Sorrento. I would highly recommend taking the class here and who knew we would also have some of their awesome homemade gelato at the end. What a day it was.

29/08/2024: Very nice place not far from the center. The food was very good, we had two fish first courses and a mixed fry, all excellent. The only flaw was a misunderstanding with the staff which almost led us to get up and leave....

06/06/2024: This place was a 10/10 ! I would recommend to anyone staying in Sorrento ! Although it is a ways out of town, if you’re staying in an Air bnb near here, you need to come and try it ! From the food to the desert everything was great. It’s family owned and they really make you feel welcomed if when you’re not from here.

14/08/2024: I went there for dinner recently, we found ourselves ordering mixed starters (fries, chicken strips, omelettes, etc.) which had a very strange taste, they tasted a lot like old oil, especially the strips. We left everything, we wanted to order the sandwiches later, but we no longer had the desire and above all the appetite. A real shame, because I was there about 3 years ago and I remembered it completely different (in a positive way). Very friendly and helpful staff.

11/08/2024: Nice and typical place, we took some cutting boards, aesthetically very nice and the quality of the food was good. Good sandwiches, there isn't much choice of piadine. Very kind and friendly staff.
