03/01/2026: Despite the excellent reviews, the restaurant was very disappointing. Most of the items on the menu were unavailable, replaced by other dishes we hadn't requested. The long waits, however, were made up for by the owner's kindness, who offered focaccia and mozzarella to fill the gaps. We hope we have a chance to change our minds!

22/10/2025: We’ve been in Italy almost 7 days and this place by far has been the most tasteful restaurant, we had the gnocchi with clams , linguine margarita pizza and calamari and they all were amazing!! I recommend this place to everyone.

05/10/2025: The BEST pizza of my life just a couple of blocks from our hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The flavors were incredible, with a perfect crust that was both crispy and chewy. Each bite was packed with fresh ingredients that really elevated the whole experience. What made it even better was the friendly service. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place you just want to come back to again and again. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this gem of a pizza place. It's a must-try!

11/09/2025: The pizza is really good and the view of the Vesuvius is great. However the waiting time and the service is not great... We've been there twice in a week and had to wait over an hour to have dinner. Also we ordered the tiramisu as dessert and unfortunately it's not a proper a tiramisu, but a frozen one. When we questioned the waiter, we've been told it's a gelato even though it's sold as tiramisu. I was really craving a tiramisu on my last day, and I'm not a big fan of gelato, so to avoid disappointments it would be great if this could be more clear for the customers

05/09/2025: One night during my motorcycle trip, I spontaneously got a room. I was very happy about this great coincidence. It just worked out. Very nice people there. The dinner was absolutely delicious.

23/12/2025: While visiting the Amalfi coast we found Bougainvillea! We stopped in one evening to try the best FRESH gelato we have ever had. We came back the next day for delicious pizza and an ice cold Coke Zero. The staff is incredibly friendly and the location was perfect to take in all of the people strolling through beautiful Sorrento. BUT the best part of our trip was our gelato making class! From the rich history this family has and the love they pour into all that they do to laughing as we tried our hand at making two gelato flavors. It was an incredible experience! While you are there, ask at the counter about the gelato making class with Teresa! She is wonderful and fun and all of the things that make Bougainvillea a must stop when visiting Sorrento.

02/08/2025: Absolutely fabulous hidden gem in the heart of Sorrento, near the Basilica. Staff lovely. Always remembered our order from previous visits! Loved this cafe/lounge bar so much that we visited every day of our 10 day stay, sometimes more than once a day. Best coffee in Sorrento!! See you next year!

01/08/2025: A beautiful spot in Sorrento with a wonderful design and feel to it. We have visited here a few times now during our stay and each time we cannot fault it. The staff are attentive and friendly and the drinks menu is fantastic. It just feels fun. If you are visiting Sorrento, I recommend a stop here for a nice cocktail or a refreshing aperitif.

04/08/2025: Very good food. I'd recommend the tomato pizza bread starter. Bruschetta on a pizza base and the dough is delicious. It's a big place but I'd recommend booking to be safe

11/10/2025: Spaghetti with zucchini was delicious, and the house special spritz was great too. A lovely serene location for a spot of lunch before taking a dip. Pasta dishes around €20 each.

10/10/2025: What a beautiful beach! The facilities for wheelchair users are absolutely amazing. Mario was incredibly helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this beach to anyone, especially to those with disabilities. Thank you so much!

09/02/2026: We spent the whole day in Sorrento; in the morning we had an excellent coffee, and in the afternoon we had three sorbets and a lemon delight. Everything was excellent! They used simple ingredients, not pre-made products. Maria Rosaria, a very kind and helpful lady, was attentive to my requests regarding ingredients because I'm unfortunately allergic to several things (she has experience with allergies in her family, so she's very knowledgeable :) and she gave the right amount of importance. We'll be back 😊💪 P.S. My simplest sorbet was due to allergies, otherwise I decorated it with cones and macarons.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative. Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.
