02/04/2024: This was by far the best pasta we have had on our 10 trip visiting several cities in Italy. The lemon sauce with king prawns was life changing, and I’m not exaggerating! The service was outstanding without being overbearing.

01/10/2023: Had an enjoyable visit here as part of an excursion to Sorrento. We had a cheese making demonstration, an explanation on how olive oil is made, and an amazing snack ( more of a lunch really given how generous the serving was). We also sampled their Lemoncello and visited the lovely shop.

28/09/2023: Just enjoyed a visit here during a tour and what a wonderful stop it was! Friendly tour guide, amazing food and a beautiful shop. Wish I had more room in the luggage to buy more.

25/02/2024: Nice service. Very good food at an affordable price. Additionally, the positive impression is enhanced by the restaurant's decor. It's worth stopping here for lunch.

08/01/2024: Place found by chance on December 31st for lunch. Attracted by the very Christmassy exterior and a kind character. Spectacular and very characteristic interior of the restaurant, friendly staff. We took both the first and second courses as well as a taste of wood-fired pizza which to say was all good, nothing 5 star cuisine but the fresh pasta was really excellent. Prices are obviously those of a tourist place. However, the worst thing about Sorrento are the very expensive parking costs. To return

17/03/2024: Locale ampio, dagli arredi un po’ datato ma tutto sommato gradevole vista la posizione e il panorama. Personale super gentile, cameriere sempre col sorriso. Antipasti vari : a parte il fior di latte a treccia non proprio fresco e i crocche ‘ congelati e un po’ insapori, il resto e’ stato buono specie la parmigiana fatta con le melanzane ripiene, una vera goduria. Primi discreti, ma i dolci fatti dalla moglie del proprietario sono stati eccellenti: porzioni enormi e un sapore da far invidia all alta pasticceria. Tiramisù all’ arancia ottimo. All’uscita, stavano sfornando dei casatielli… li ho guardati estasiata dal profumo, me ne hanno donato una fetta. Buonissimo

16/03/2024: La drammatica conclusione di una piccola vacanza al top nella costiera Amalfitana. La domenica prima di rientrare andiamo a mangiare in questo posto. Fuori dal centro di Sorrento. Prezzi altissimi e fuori ordinanza per quel che può proporre una trattoria. Pensando di fare scelta giusta con la tradizione ordino degli gnocchi alla sorrentina. Mi vengono serviti senza mozzarella e con il sugo assolutamente non cotto. Secondo. Grigliata di formaggi alla brace. Quattro pezzi, freddi e senza assolutamente sapore di sorta. Una grigliata fredda. No comment. Allora spero di recuperare con una delizia al limone 🍋. Piena solo di panna. Inqualificabile ed acida. Riferisco alla cassa quanto accaduto e vengo preso in giro. "Allora erano gnocchi al sugo?". Maleducazione assoluta. Se poi pensate che per 24 ore ho avuto dissenteria?!!? Posso concludere che è stata il peggior pranzo della mia vita. Se serve altro. Chiedo un greco di tufo e mi portano una falanggina.

06/04/2024: The food is just OK. But the waitor showed different attitudes towards those people who are not well dressed or from US. They also asked for a tip in the end, which was the only restaurant to force a tip I encountered in Italy. Definitely the worst experience during my one-week tour in Italy and Switzerland. Don't go! You have more other options with reasonable prices, good services and tasty food.

06/03/2024: Erika and Gennaro are just wonderful! Great choice in local products, they make their own limoncello - which is excellent - and they know a lot about their products. They’ll let you taste almost everything. Also if they don’t have in the store what you’re looking for, there’s a big chance they have it in the back. Just ask them; aside from Italian they speak perfect English and German too. We bought a lot from them, it’s a real cultural experience.

12/02/2024: Paid to ship 12 bottles of olive oil back home to the states $120 for just shipping plus the cost of olive oil , and never received the olive oil. I was told I would have within 14 day!! A young man named Giuliano Gargiulo coordinated and out his number in my whats app so we could communicate on logistics in which he stopped communicating after Christmas! This was the only bad experience we had while in Italy for 2 weeks. Very disappointing. I will also be reporting the the Italy consumer protection agency as well.

19/10/2023: Best meal I had in Sorrento! So many places had bad service, and were downright rude. They didn’t want me as a customer, and they were eager to tell me so. By contrast, here I felt genuinely welcomed and was treated very well. Raphael stopped me from ordering too much — I’ve never had someone say that at a restaurant! My first course was messy, so he brought three large wet naps, and a bowl of warm water with a lime in it! When have I ever been treated better? And he speaks English. Everyone was helpful and friendly. they were immediately responsive when I wanted to order something else, and the courses arrived without long delays, but only when I said I was ready. That’s the way to do it! Food was good, especially spaghetti and meatballs, and a long list of desserts. La Cazzarola is a must return to on my next trip to Sorrento.

15/10/2023: Ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante girando per il centro storico di Sorrento attirati dai colori e dalla particolarità della struttura.Personale simpaticissimo e cordiale con un’attenzione al cliente superiore alla media.Abbiamo provato il piatto del giorno,la famosa genovese e ne siamo rimasti sbalorditi.I dolci infine sono stati una piacevole sorpresa.Da provare assolutamente per chi viene da queste parti

06/03/2024: From the moment we walked in the door we felt so welcome and comfortable. The hosts were extremely attentive and informative of both the dishes and the wine selection upon asking. We have eaten a lot of Thai food around the world and found that there was a usual greasiness to the food that we had come to expect, however the ingredients were bursting with freshness and my wife and I can honestly say This was the best Thai cuisine we have ever eaten. Our only disappointment is that we found This wonderful restaurant on our last evening in sorrento! 110% worth the visit!

18/03/2024: Wonderful evening in this very central corner of Sorrento. Comfortable and welcoming environment from the owners to their collaborators, always courteous and smiling, and you immediately feel at home. The only dilemma is choosing between catch of the day or land-based food: all delicious, cooked in a sublime way, and all accompanied by a varied wine list. Prices more than normal without exaggeration. What can I say: I recommend this restaurant not only for dinner but also for lunch!!!!!!!

17/03/2024: Quick lunch with friends from Naples...excellent first course and tasting of excellent fried food...high prices but you are in the middle of the alleys of Sorrento...enjoy life like Lucio Dalla did
