To celebrate a special birthday, we chose Chef Gramaglia's cuisine, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The welcome and the atmosphere From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the Chef's wife, an extremely professional figure who immediately put us at ease. The ambiance is meticulously crafted, elegant yet with a touch of warmth that makes you feel "at home," making the experience almost familiar despite the exceptionally high level of service. The gastronomic journey From aperitif to dessert, every step was a crescendo of flavors. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable, but it's the Chef's skill that makes the difference: The Egg: Simply unforgettable. A balance of textures and temperatures that remains etched in the memory. The Fusillone: ​​It left us literally speechless; a dish worth the trip alone. The Human Touch The real added value was meeting Chef Gramaglia. He's a wonderful person with a rare warmth; chatting with him after the meal was an extremely pleasant moment that further enriched our day. In summary: An experience I highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just "luxury food"—a true experience. Celebrating my birthday here was the best choice for creating memories tied to fantastic flavors.

24/02/2026: Thank you for making such a special day for us, our anniversary, unforgettable, for the special welcome you gave us, and the elegant and relaxing atmosphere that accompanied us throughout the meal. Mrs. Laila was the perfect hostess, and Chef Paolo Gramaglia was superb, surprising us from the first course to the last with dishes that were beautiful to look at but, above all, incredibly delicious. We will definitely return and recommend the President restaurant to anyone who wants to feel at home while savoring unique and exquisite dishes, the result of a combination of the best Neapolitan tradition with the flavors and aromas of distant lands. 29/12/2025: Delicatessen (or perhaps it would be better to call it a grocery store given the vast selection of products available) with a kitchen in the center of Pompeii (no pizza). Friendly and attentive service, a unique atmosphere (you eat surrounded by products, wines, jars of local specialties, pasta, etc.), and truly excellent traditional cuisine. We recommend the traditional appetizer, pasta with potatoes and provola, Genovese, and stuffed escarole. The desserts are also delicious. The price is average for the quality: eight of us ordered three appetizers (each is meant for two people but is very generous), two bottles of Fiano, six pasta dishes to share, several bottles of water, and the same number of desserts, and we spent €35 each.

27/12/2025: A bistro that rivals any restaurant. Always a wide selection of first and second courses, which are always excellent. I don't know how they do it, but the zucchini alla scapece is spectacular and a must-try. Highly recommended!

17/02/2026: Na'Pasta, home-made food, a cozy place with a Maradonero atmosphere like all of Naples. It fills up quickly because it is very small but the food is spectacular.

15/03/2026: Simply a fantastic culinary experience in the heart of Pompeii. A cozy, clean and inviting place. Food and service were excellent (the cod fish was exquisite). Prices were very reasonable and the owner’s attention was super friendly. A must place to stop. Thank you Italy for your history and warm hospitality!

18/03/2026: We had an early (for Italy) dinner in the restaurant part, & had the meat & fish tasting menu. The building is amazing, a very old ex palazio, very stylishly decorated & comfortable. While the food was fantastic, the service was the standout, especially from our wait staff, Luigi and Pascuale who really made our meal special. Was on the more expensive side for Pompeii (cheaper than south of England), but definitely worth it.

13/02/2026: A classy restaurant, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. Enzo, the owner, is a sweet and very polite man, and he exudes the passion he seeks to imbue the restaurant with. The food is truly out of this world, from the chef's welcome to everything else. When I'm back in Pompeii, I'll definitely be back.

17/03/2026: Caupona, not far from the Pompeii excavations. A truly fantastic place, recommended for anyone wishing to delve into the past, into ancient Roman Pompeii. Delicious food, both the traditional and contemporary menus. Excellent value. Very welcoming staff.

19/03/2026: A lovely little place just steps from the Pompeii ruins. Weather permitting, you can enjoy your food under a lovely pergola. Excellent pizza, flavorful and fragrant, made with top-quality ingredients. Fast and friendly staff. Prices are high, but reasonable for the area.

I had a portion of potatoes with bacon and barbecue sauce, a pulled pork and bacon cheddar sandwich, and a caramel cheesecake for dessert. Excellent value. I'll definitely be back to try something else on the menu. The staff was very friendly and helpful, attentive to their customers.
