03/07/2026: This restaurant has a wonderfully cozy atmosphere that makes you feel welcome right away. The service was incredibly fast, and all of our food was prepared and served in no time. Everything we ordered, from the fresh appetizers to the main courses, was exceptionally delicious. You absolutely must save room for dessert because the tiramisu is phenomenal. The staff was highly attentive and professional throughout the entire evening. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect meal in Capri!

27/06/2026: Our first dinner in Capri was also our first challenge for the island. Fifteen of us, fresh off our wedding in Tuscany, all arriving at one restaurant. Villa Verde made it look routine. The cocktails were excellent, the wine list worked for a table that couldn’t agree on just one bottle, and the service never lost its rhythm despite everything we were throwing at it. The pizza was outstanding, but the night found another gear when the whole branzino hit the table. Tambourines started making their way around, neighbouring tables were smiling over at us, and dinner turned into a celebration. It’s lively without trying too hard, which is probably why it works so well.

15/05/2026: Very pleasant atmosphere. Good Italian cuisine. A dip of sorts while you wait for your dishes is very welcome.

14/05/2026: Owner was beyond friendly, staff was very warm and welcoming, atmosphere was romantic and perfect for our dinner date. Ravioli Caprese was to die for, an absolute must, best on the island. Seafood rissotto was hearty with lots of fresh fish. We had a wonderful evening here, and would definitely go back.

06/06/2026: Based on the good reviews, we decided to visit this restaurant. Unfortunately, it's not even worth one star. The portions are tiny and the prices are outrageously high. They skimp on the seafood in the pasta dishes. Sorry, but at those pasta prices, I expect a reasonable ratio of pasta to seafood. Save your money and eat somewhere else. It's not good value for money at all. Absolutely outrageous!

03/06/2026: Mediocre quality, high prices considering the setting: €40 for pasta with lobster, which contained a few pieces and not even the shell. Fried food was okay, but the portion was modest considering the price. We were a bit disappointed, expecting more "authentic" food, less touristy.

02/07/2026: Excellent place in Nerano, except for the spaghetti with clams or mussels, which are exceptional and not much, and the list of delicacies is endless. Go to Capri and eat like Verginella and the best. I highly recommend Massimo.

02/07/2026: I went to dinner alone, and the waiter asked for my phone number to go out, and he got annoyed when I said no. Italians are quite macho and lecherous, which is very annoying. They should adapt to international tourism and stop harassing women. It's very frustrating that you can't sit down and eat in peace without being asked out. The pasta was good, but you should order an appetizer because the portions are very small. The prices are much lower than in other places to eat with a sea view. The ambiance is very nice.

24/07/2026: Considering that Capri island should be not just a day in and out but does require an extended stay, Lo Smeraldo restaurant and beach, is a real gem, one of the kind, attentive service, great location and vibes, and Gianpaolo cool food suggestions made the whole day a fantastic experience. Not just recommended but a must.

24/05/2026: Our stay at the Hotel La Palma on Capri was a fantastic experience overall. The exceptionally friendly and professional welcome was definitely a highlight. The reception staff were always helpful and very attentive. We also really liked the beautifully and stylishly furnished rooms. Unfortunately, the first room we were assigned (No. 305) faced a children's playground. The noise from there was audible even through the very well-insulated windows, making it impossible to spend time in the room or on the veranda with the balcony doors open. However, we were very happy with the second room we were given. It was quiet despite being right next to the pool (on the same level). What we didn't like at all, and what deserves at most two stars, was the (included for us) breakfast and the "service" associated with it. There was a very small buffet with mostly sweet cakes and pastries. There was also one Italian white bread and one type of dark bread. Yogurt, three jams, and Italian cheese were also available, but the cheese was very strong and not exactly what you'd expect for breakfast. But perhaps that's a matter of personal taste. There was also antipasti and muesli. Everything was the same every day. What we missed was a selection of sausage, ham, and cold cuts. Italy truly offers a wide variety of these. As we learned, these could be ordered from a menu, but at a considerable extra charge. 🧐 From this menu, you could also choose one hot drink (the teapot was only half full, so it was just one cup). Waffles and egg dishes were free, but bacon was also charged extra at €8. Unfortunately, the service at breakfast can only be described as incredibly poor. With the exception of one server, everyone seemed to suffer from collective amnesia. Every morning, we had to repeat our orders three or four times because we still hadn't received a hot drink or butter after 20 minutes. Furthermore, numerous orders, such as water, eggs, etc., were delivered completely incorrectly. For a hotel belonging to the Dr. Oetker Collection and operating in this price range, this is unacceptable. This urgently needs improvement. Nevertheless, this hotel can certainly be recommended. The price-performance ratio isn't really right, but that's due to the location and the island of Capri itself. Nothing here is cheap, but you know that beforehand. But it's absolutely beautiful and pure entertainment!

The location here is fantastic, the food top-notch even compared to the best restaurants on Capri, which thrive on their reputation and convenient locations. The staff is always available, and the prices are very affordable. Recommended for anyone planning a trip from Trafalgar to the center via the west coast.

06/11/2025: The food is good and the views are great (if you're lucky). It's expensive, on par with Capri in general. I tried gnocchi alla caprese, since I was in Capri. Very tasty, but the portion was small. The waiter was very friendly and spoke Spanish. I gave him an €8 tip and then regretted it because I'm broke.

29/10/2025: Excellent pizzaria restaurant and their service is top class. Located a bit hidden in the street,... do yourself a favor and visit them. Clear winner in Capri.

19/06/2026: Fantastic experience! Special thanks to Mr. Ciro, who found us a table literally at the last minute when the restaurant was closing. Even though the kitchen was almost closed, he made us an exceptional peppered mussels and a truly delicious lemon chicken. The desserts deserve a special mention: a fantastic tiramisu and an extraordinary lemon fruit salad, with a delicate lemon chamomile drizzle, simply spectacular. All washed down with an excellent Berlucchi. Thanks again to Ciro for his availability, kindness, and attention. He made us feel truly welcome. I'll be back soon.

14/06/2026: Really tasty food, particularly the catch of the day - sea bass big enough for 2-3 on this occasion. Staff were polite and friendly, though service could be slow. Best views of a restaurant in the Marina Grande - no road, on front of you, just straight out across the small boats at one end of the harbour, a little removed from the ferries plying their trade. Quieter in the evenings.

05/07/2026: A stunning location, overlooking the sea. The seating capacity is quite high, but the service is quick and courteous, even though the dining room is a bit chaotic. Prices are slightly more competitive than other restaurants on Capri, but the quality of the food seemed a bit lower. We had grilled fish accompanied by carrots and broccoli, which we found a somewhat disappointing choice.

06/07/2026: This establishment with its chalet atmosphere was perfect for our weekend, with the private spa relaxation area – what more could you ask for – in the heart of the vineyard with perfect service.

24/03/2026: I returned in February 2026. I stand by my previous reviews. As a group of six, we stayed for seven days during a ski mountaineering trip in February 2024. At the Hotel Rendez Vous, you'll find all the charm of the Aosta Valley: good, authentic Valdostan home cooking and a simple, warm welcome. Excellent value for money for half-board. The hotel is centrally located in the valley, ideal for exploring the area. A great place to stay. I returned, under the same conditions, in January and February 2025, with two groups, each for a week-long ski mountaineering trip. The same positive impression: excellent welcome, comfort, cuisine, etc. I confirm, a very good place to stay with excellent value for money.
