30/07/2024: A very nice small hotel, beautifully situated on a hill, with a magnificent view on the valley and the little castle close by. Rooms are clean and tidy. Remi and his family bring the best service, attending to your every need. Enjoy the quiet, cool garden to read your book, catch up with work or have a cold Aosta wine sitting at the table under the old Kiwi-tree. If hiking is your thing, make sure you ask Remi for the best possible hikes and places to go. You cannot choose your dinner, but the hotel brings a nice three course meal every evening, asking you in the morning about your possible preferences. We certainly will be back!
27/07/2024: I would have loved to stay in this beautiful hotel, but I was dissatisfied with how we were treated on the phone just for asking for information... a real shame!

I checked many times before dialing your number and I'm 100% sure that was it... for me but I think for other people too kindness is the basis of everything... I'm sorry about how things went.

12/11/2024: great place. Traditional cuisine and in relation to how well known the place is and consequently is touristy, I would say well done. Enchanting location. Prices quite high in relation to what you eat, but correct when compared to Capri and how characteristic this place is. Highly recommended.

24/11/2024: While its been a few weeks since our return from a magnificent tour of the Amalfi Coast, before the euphoria of the trip wears off, we wanted to take a moment to offer our sincere thanks to the staff of La Floridiana for a most wonderful stay. In particular, we would like to recognize Guiliana A, Simona P, Andrea M and Antonio A for their kindness, helpfulness and all around good humor! — The hotel & room was impeccably clean, the food was fabulous, but without a solid team of people supporting, there would simply be no memorable experience! - every encounter with the staff was absolutely delightful and left us laughing. We consider ourselves seasoned travelers and this stay ranks among the best of them all.
Our time in Capri was limited to exactly 1day and their help, we saw & experienced as much as we could and without any doubt, wished we’d been able to stay longer — here!
Quite simply, If you ever get the chance to visit Capri, your stay would simply be incomplete if you missed the opportunity to take advantage of the hospitality of La Floridiana!
20/11/2024: This hotel is the definition of luxury as a boutique hotel. We loved every aspect of it. From the moment you arrive, they have a very pleasant way of welcoming you; we appreciated their welcome drink and their tips and notes on the island. They even gave us options to choose from for our room, something we rarely see – all the rooms are lovely and spacious, considering the small buildings on the island, with high-quality and comfortable beds. The air conditioner works perfectly, which is not always the case in Europe. One of the most important highlights of our stay was their breakfast – there are lovely options in the buffet, and you can order as many items as you like from a menu - they make them for your and they are amazing. Finally, I should mention that the staff are exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and helpful; they always find ways to assist you.

07/12/2024: Esperienza eccezionale. Cibo saporitissimo e tanta simpatia. Piatti veramente ben conditi, frutto della tradizione napoletana. Il miglior Babà mangiate in vita mia. Per non parlare dei primi piatti. Assolutamente da raccomandare.

01/12/2024: Excellent take away lunch in Capri. We had been craving vegetables and healthy food after a week in Naples and this was the perfect spot. The owners were really accommodating with our limited Italian. I would definitely return!
21/11/2024: It’s where the locals go, so that’s a great sign for this takeaway deli. Not the best, not the worst Italian food, but fresh and reasonable prices.

20/08/2024: We supposedly got an upgrade and had a view of the trash for €1,550 a night and when the trash is thrown out at 6 a.m. we have to get up too.
We also broke a lamp, so we called reception. They came and spent around 40 minutes in the room taking the thing away, then the room was cleaned and of course photos were taken. Nothing was mentioned at check-out. As soon as they left the island, they deducted €850 from the card without any agreement. When I called, we were accused of only then discovering the lamp and supposedly not warning us. When I requested the photos, it was clear that we were still there as our belongings were visible. In addition, the lamp wasn't even in the room at checkout. Very unprofessional and ridiculous behavior for the price. I explained that she shouldn't touch the card without agreement and an invoice and especially not in a hotel like this. I asked for an invoice because I would like to pay this through my liability insurance. Of course we didn't get the money refunded, but we received an invoice for €850 and, apart from the €850, another €600 was debited the next day. The lamp now costs €1,450 but with a bill of €800 and no one cares about it, the main thing is to collect money. Nobody is interested in a refund and emails are not answered.

21/07/2024: We went to Capri on a day trip and walked by La Palma and noted how beautiful it was. We went there for lunch and it was amazing. The service is nothing like anywhere else we’ve experienced. Everyone was so kind and welcoming.

26/08/2024: In Capri in the ferry area everything is overpriced. Here we got good salmon and tuna tartare for €10 each and it was very tasty. Free cake afterwards and nice service. If you pay €11 for a coffee somewhere else in Capri, this place is cheap…

29/08/2024: Personale accogliente ma il menù da rivedere. Spaghetti alle vongole veraci 40 euro a piatto. Le vongole se vengono servite senza guscio sono senza carta di identità quindi il “verace” non corrisponde alla realtà!

13/11/2024: Very authentic local restaurant. You can reach by taking the free boat from marina. The food quality and taste is superb. Try the eggplant pasta and the fish of the day. The local house wine is great.

03/11/2024: Since I barely understand Italian, I had difficulty making myself understood and I made a mistake in asking for 2 aperols, instead of 2 aperitifs. In fact I wanted 1 aperol and a coke. The person did not understand and another person came with 2 aperols. I explained the problem.
She replied curtly "it's ordered"... And didn't take the second aperol...
But, in good faith, I then preferred to joke with her. I didn't want to worry about such a beautiful place (Capri)
27/10/2024: This was by far the best pizza on our entire trip through Italy. I would highly recommend trying their pizza as they cook it traditionally with a wood fire oven and it’s amazing.
