05/11/2023: Day visit to Capri, in the middle of a rainstorm, no umbrella. Gave up trying to kill time so arrived at restaurant bit earlier than opening. Staff could not have been more helpful, towels to dry off etc. Finally got settled and food, wine and service all exceptional. In particular, the risotto - best ever anywhere. Would love to revisit and try the dinner service.

03/11/2023: A hidden of the main path of this lovely little town is this place. Does not look like a lot, but is superb. Especially this little beautiful garden patio in the back. Excellent salads, pasta and pizza! Really among the best we had. More than worth it to walk a few more steps!!

28/12/2023: Food was horrible, I was starving and couldn’t finish it. Had the Gemma club sandwich and misses had the ravioli.

18/03/2024: I’m so confused. We will be there in 4 months and I reached out (seems like WELL in advance as they have said they aren’t even taking summer reservations yet) about reservations. I didn’t expect an immediate response, but I got an email saying they only have 11pm availability. Like, what? Is it normal for them to be completely booked this far out??

04/03/2024: Restaurant in a lemon grove. Tables among imposing lemon trees in this amazing location with impeccable service. Series of courses including appetizers focused on the bowler hat, Caprese ravioli, desserts. The second courses are simple and have a sublime flavour. Colors, flavors and aromas can only enchant the senses. What to say! every time it is a unique and unrepeatable experience, always trying new dishes

04/04/2024: Got hard poisoned after eating here. Overcharged for sure, but they didn’t give you a proof of the calculations.

02/04/2024: I was there last night with friends Welcoming environment with qualified staff available and attentive to our requests We ordered pizzas and drinks. Very good pizza, never tasted a really special pizza! In a truly unique and very central place, two minutes from the central square What can I say? I recommend it with truly unique quality and prices ,

31/10/2023: There are so many great restaurants in Amalfi. Unfortunately this one is just ok. Food was very overpriced. My pasta with fish was very salty. The avocado with prawns was bland and expensive for the portion. However the service was great and the waiters were very friendly.

18/02/2024: Very friendly staff. They owner made me feel like I was family by the end of my meal. Food was quite scrumptious, hot and fresh. Ambiance was perfect.

28/09/2023: This restaurant is obviously not the best in Capri but it definitely has some great ocean views. Food was okay but the service was relatively quick. The bread was for sure lacking some flavor but if you want something good, I would definitely recommend getting the Ravioli Caprese.

26/03/2024: Nos ofrecen pasta del día fuera de carta y nos sirven medio plato de pasta fría y recalentada . La pizza estaba correcta. El precio fue similar al de otros locales de la isla. Una caña, 7 euros Poco recomendable, aunque es buena elección ante la falta de espacio en otros restaurantes.

18/10/2023: Very good pizza! This is what we ate! And it was big too, so the price wasn't quite as high as people think. I saw a review that said "if you don't wear designer clothes, you're not treated well"; this was not the case for us. We were treated very well, welcoming and professional waiters, even joking; so everything went very well, even though I didn't have a reservation, which is absolutely necessary.

15/10/2023: We spent a total of three evenings in Capri and ate in different restaurants each time. Basically, we were aware of the prices and were therefore prepared for higher prices for drinks, food, etc. However, we found what happened to us at Da Giorgio to be cheeky. We are usually very accommodating and can overlook a lot of things, which is why we rarely give reviews. The waiter was so arrogant towards us from the start for no reason, which is why we didn't feel comfortable at all from the first second. My friend had spaghetti with tomato sauce for €18 and I had the pasta dish from the daily menu (linguine with tomatoes and shrimp) for €28. I wasn't expecting a large portion for Capri for God's sake, however I received overall the same noodles as my friend with the exception of three shrimp draped on top. Once these were peeled, there wasn't much difference from my friend's portion. I'm generally not picky, but the price-performance ratio here isn't right at all. Added to this is the arrogant and unfriendly service. The food wasn't bad, but we've eaten MUCH better at other places on Capri for the same price. I never thought that the service could also add a lot to the taste sensation.

31/10/2023: Schlechtester Rotwein auf Capri für 15 € !!! Essen nicht gut und dazu total überteuert. Wenn sie für diese Preise wenigstens einen Koch anstellen würden!

17/10/2023: Good food comes with good wine and good staff. This being said, here you can find all of the above. Not cheap, but at least when you go through the wines, besides the story behind each option, they also remind you of its price. As a table by the street might be noisy, the ones by the window provide an excellent panorama.

24/09/2023: Vi hade lunch där och vi båda valde pasta vongole. Den bästa vi någonsin haft. Vitvinet därtill också till belåtenhet. Ganska snabb och korrekt service utan alltför många leenden. Vi var totalt sett nöjda med lunchen.

05/11/2023: Biggest tourist trap I've ever been to. Food was semi good, which is not okay for the price. Especially the Caesar salad. Just salad with cold chicken (17€). The service was bad. We needed about 30 for each event. We definitely asked every waiter if we could pay. The first one nodded and didn't come back. The second one brought us menus and then didn't come back etc. 👎

30/03/2024: Delicious Cappuccino, great Aperol, good pizza but I don't think it's exactly Neapolitan. The price is too high, but what can you expect from one local restaurant, you pay more for the view than the alcohol and food 😁❤️🤍💚 ciao Italia
