02/09/2024: My experience at the Canzone del Mare establishment on Saturday 31 August was terrible to say the least. I went with some friends to spend a relaxing day, but unfortunately we were disappointed on all fronts. First, the service was extremely slow and disorganized: we waited more than two hours for lunch, and the food we received was of questionable quality. The pasta was overcooked and very salty, with the fish practically non-existent. Despite constant requests for updates, since my friends had to take the hydrofoil, we were continuously told in a "nice" way that the food would arrive "in two minutes", which turned out to be just a joke . It is unacceptable to wait over two hours to receive two pasta dishes, a tartare and a gazpacho. Assistance on the beach was also lacking. We encountered problems from small things, such as ordering a simple bottle of water directly to the sunbed, up to potentially dangerous situations. An umbrella flew into the water due to the strong wind, and only after ten minutes did a lifeguard intervene, when the bathers themselves had already recovered it. This behavior is quite irresponsible and puts the safety of guests at risk. The only positive aspect of the day was the surrounding natural context, which however is certainly not thanks to the establishment. Luckily, there are many other beaches to choose from on the island, and we definitely won't be returning to Canzone del Mare. Added to all this is an exorbitant price for a service that is practically absent.

08/09/2024: My girlfriend and I spent a night there and found the place to be a very welcoming place with very helpful staff. Recommended to everyone.

10/08/2024: Room a little below expectations, I understand that it is Capri but for €200 a night I expected a little better. No TV, minibar off with nothing, bathroom with a lamp as light and shower next to a window.

09/12/2024: The beach is magnificent with an extraordinary view of the Faraglioni, however the restaurant does not at all live up to the setting

06/12/2024: Beautiful experience, the restaurant directly overlooks the stacks, a very suggestive place for the fantastic location, the only flaw, difficult to reach, very tiring, good food even if I expected something more given the quite high price. But the price is worth the fantastic experience and the place where it is located, then obviously to leave the restaurant it is possible to access the shuttle service by sea even if it is expensive it is better to do so because leaving on foot would be very difficult indeed.

01/09/2024: At the beginning, we were offered seats inside the establishment, we sat down, but after a few minutes, another waitress came and said that we can only sit outside, because she will now be cleaning the floor in the establishment. We paid €12 for a tuna and tomato sandwich and €16 for pasta carbonara. The sandwich was average, the kind you could make on the fly with what's in the fridge. But the most terrible thing is carbonara. It came with a boiled egg, although it should be half-cooked so that it does not become hard. 0/10 this carbonara. We asked for the bill, but no one ever came to us with it. I had to approach the counter myself. I do not recommend anyone to go to this institution.

24/08/2024: Be very careful people!!! So we sat down with my gf and the service was nice professional & fast We loved the spot we could watch all the people coming and going and checking out different styles and outfits and the mountains behind very beautiful Ordered two cappuccinos which were nothing special but they were ok. I expected a cookie or something since it was 11e each Then the bill came and the guy brought the machine to take the credit card and he was like it's 45e and then I paid Then I was like huh this doesn't make any sense the numbers don't add up so I checked the receipt and they double charged us the coffees apparently I was like ok it's human error went to the guy to show him the receipt and he didn't look confused or didn't think about it twice he said "oh ok sorry yes my mistake" and then proceeded to take his wallet out and give me 22 euros His vibe was off though. Didn't seem like a honest mistake So he gave me the 20and took him a minute to give me the rest 2e... Like he was waiting for me to say "keep the rest" which made me even more angry because I was like I already tipped you... And you overcharged me and you expect a second tip?🤣 Anyway I told my gf of what happened and she was like nah it was an honest mistake Then I checked the place accidentally on Google while looking for another place and I saw another reviewer say he got double charged too (45 for two cappuccinos)... So I don't know. They think we're "stupid tourists" or It's all a big coincidence and some human mistakes? I don't know 🤷‍♂️ Anyway be careful and always double check the receipts and always ask for the menus 💪

19/08/2024: The square of Capri is a must-see destination. With the arrival of the funicular which unnerves millions of tourists from the Marina Grande to Capri there is no one among them who doesn't love sitting in the square in one of the famous cafés located there

07/11/2024: We stopped by Cafe Caso for some gelato and coffee. The gelato was a bit too sweet for my taste—possibly a personal preference, but worth noting. The coffee was fine, though nothing particularly memorable. Prices were on the higher side, which is expected in Capri, but it didn’t quite match the quality we hoped for.

22/10/2024: I was there last night, the staff were all very kind, the place is special... the high prices (not so exaggerated as we read in many comments) are fine, we are in a super luxury place

22/09/2024: A la vuelta de la esquina de nuestro hotel, este era nuestro “local” para las bebidas antes de la cena durante nuestra estancia en Capri. Propietario muy amable y grandes cócteles. Todos los bocadillos italianos habituales con bebidas. No comimos aquí, pero almuerzan también.

01/09/2024: Food was not bad but super extra small portions. We had two Nizzarda salads, tuna was barely there… I mean,make people pay more if that is your problem but at least we don’t leave the restaurant after lunch hungry.

05/12/2024: Tuvimos un delicioso desayuno aquí después de llegar a Capri. Fue un maravilloso comienzo de nuestra visita a la isla. Me encantaría volver aquí de nuevo.

17/07/2024: AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Staff were extremely rude, including the supposed owner. Prices were ridiculously expensive exploring tourists.

14/06/2024: Paramos para comer um gelado, e após pagar, fomos sentar na esplanada . O dono veio a correr a dizer de forma arrogante que não podemos sentar a comer gelados, que tínhamos de sair . Várias mesas vazias. Após perguntar porque não podíamos sentar respondeu que ele é que era o dono e fazia as regras . Falta de educação, e arrogância ao mais alto nível. Não recomendo.

27/08/2024: Worst restaurant I’ve ever been, customer service is not a word that exists there. It was more the time we were trying to make eye contact and calling them to take our order than the time we spent eating. The food tasted like plastic and the pasta was more cooked than Italians would even eat themselves. Avoid this restaurant, your stomach and wallet will thank u.

25/08/2024: Gelato was very tasty. But the lady who was preparing gelatos to customer was extremely rude. I don't know what her problem was. We just ordered gelatos and she was giving us attitude for no reason. She should not work here. She will give this place bad reviews. On the other hand, casher was really friendly.

21/08/2024: I bought two lemon peel sorbettos from them. They didn't give them to us from the refrigerated showcase where they were displayed, but from somewhere under the counter. It costs €9 a piece "to go" or €12 if we wanted to sit at the table. I ate them standing up. When I finished eating, my husband noticed that I had less sorbetto, because the inside of the lemon had not been cleaned properly. Rather curious about their reaction, I went back and showed them the empty lemon, I asked them to fill it with sorbetto. They refused, they told me that all lemons are the same. Of course it is not true and it is obvious that some are bigger and others smaller. My lemon was also small and had not been well cleaned inside. When I saw that they were stubborn, only then did they upset me and I asked to speak to the boss. The guy asked said that he is the boss, he was just clearing a table 😀. I repeated for him what I had told the saleswoman and asked her to put a supplement on me. He didn't want to either. Then I challenged him to an experiment, to measure the volumes of two lemons emptied of their contents. One of mine, the other from the table he was clearing. I opened a bottle from which all the water had not been consumed and filled the lemon from which I had eaten, then I poured my lemon into the one on the table. Of course, the latter was not filled, the difference being the thickness of a finger. The "boss" "explained" to me that the difference comes from the two drops I spilled when I poured from one lemon to another. 🙃 A real boss would have said that maybe my lemon had a bigger "nut", I couldn't verify that anymore 🤪 My husband was proud of how spontaneously I came up with the idea of ​​the experiment. We still felt robbed and mocked. I gave the two stars for the taste of the sorbet.

18/07/2024: If I could give 0 stars I would gladly give them! Thank the tourists and the people who land on your island because it was for us Italians you are terrible! Very hot, sultry day, my wife and I ask to eat a French fry and a Neapolitan fried dish! We were told NO! At first I thought I had understood wrong and I ask him eh? And he NO! If you want to sit down you also have to drink (which is obvious as we would have also had a drink) but now never so indignant by this man of a certain age that I go away even saying words to him! IN ALL OF THIS THE THING THAT SORRY ME THE MOST WAS THAT HE SAW THAT WE HAD A 1 YEAR OLD GIRL IN A STROLLER AND FACED WITH SOMETHING LIKE THIS, COURTISM SHOULD BE PASSED ON TO A CHILD! SO SHAME ON YOU, YOU ARE BAD AND THANK THE FOREIGN TOURISTS WHO ARE STANDING OTHERWISE YOU HAD ALREADY PULLED DOWN THE SHUTTER! While THE OTHER LOCAL LOCALS VERY FRIENDLY, WELCOMING AND UNDERSTANDING! Thank you CAPRI FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY APART FROM THESE ITEMS HERE!

11/07/2024: Very bad service. The guy who served us forced my friend to order a drink. He was also very mean to a lady who sat next to us and said that he thought that she would refuse to pay. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO EAT.
