23/06/2025: Trap for the naive! Very disappointing experience, not recommended in every aspect. We went to this restaurant in Barano on the advice of friends who are not local, despite several Ischians having advised us against it. The place is difficult to find (as if it did not want to be "visible"), without signs, even if inside it is welcoming. In fact it is a sort of hidden "villa" transformed into a restaurant. No visible menu or prices: we are offered a few dishes by word of mouth. Payment only in cash. I specify that the menu is present but they do not show it. Mediocre food: poor and not very tasty appetizer, overcooked pasta, average but nervous meat, undrinkable house wine. Thinking of having paid for 2 appetizers like two spaghetti with clams by the sea (always in Ischia) makes you think. Everyone is free to decide the prices they want but as long as these are justified by quality, taste and above all visible to customers EX ANTE. I conclude by reiterating that the experience was very negative with a disproportionate final bill, with prices totally unjustified for quality and quantity. As I said in the title, a trap for the naive. STAY AWAY.
