13/09/2025: Small, authentic, local (i.e. seemingly non-touristic) establishment. The owner, Antonio, was very kind, the prices were very reasonable, and most importantly, the food was delicious. I would definitely return.

05/09/2025: A group of six friends were pleasantly satisfied, both with the welcome we received from Alfonso and Antonella and with the traditional Benevento dishes we enjoyed in a very family-friendly atmosphere. After three evenings, we returned and enjoyed other dishes from the menu...all very good. Our holiday is over, but we plan to return. I recommend everyone stop by this restaurant at least once. Well done to all the staff.

09/09/2025: Be careful with your bill; this place is a bit of a scam, charging you inappropriate prices that don't match your order. For the aperitif pictured, our bill was €27. I've never paid that much, not even on the Amalfi Coast. DISHONESTY.

07/09/2025: Introduction: Stunning location. I think the outdoor space is the most beautiful I've ever seen for a pub, truly unique with a view of the Roman theater. Excellent food. But, I hope I can be of some help, the service is 1-star, and not the fault of the staff, who I believe do their best. You can't have 3-4 people managing 80-100 covers, endless waits to order, to receive the food, take orders, interrupted for the bill, and then resume. In short, it's sad to see the staff so busy, and the dinner suffers as a result, leaving a slightly bitter taste in the mouth. It's truly a shame, because the whole thing could be truly perfect. 25/08/2025: A paradise tavern, at the gateway to this wonderful world is Rosario, the Master of Keys, the Innkeeper, the Count of Montecristo, and the virtuoso of the pan. Rosario welcomed us, pampered us, and advised us, and we spent a delightful evening with him. He single-handedly managed the restaurant, both inside and outside the kitchen, with a professional yet playful approach, allowing guests to embark on a flawless culinary journey worthy of the finest taverns, using excellent ingredients and delicious traditional Benevento dishes. 23/08/2025: Lost in the alleys of Benevento... And then we found Paradise!! Taverna Paradiso is a rustic place where you can feel the warm atmosphere and the dishes taste like home... We filled up on flavors... Friendly staff, a relaxed atmosphere, and more than fair prices! Rating 100/100

12/08/2025: In the summer the outdoor location is nice... friendly staff in particular the guy Mirko who works there was very professional and competent... We preferred the dishes to the pizza... good meat and appreciated the possibility of choosing the side dishes directly at the counter

27/08/2025: Gioelia's gelateria is one of the best-known in Benevento and is centrally located on the main street. The gelato is excellent; I recommend trying the "mascarpone con profumo di strega" (mascarpone with Strega scent), the city's signature liqueur.

All at very reasonable prices considering the overall quality and service. The restaurant is welcoming and the staff are courteous, and the overall offering is just right, ranging from seasonal to classic dishes. Recommended.
