13/11/2025: Here you're not going to the usual restaurant to take photos or post on Instagram. Here you're going to Alfonso's home, where he will welcome and pamper you the entire time. You'll find traditional, humble but delicious dishes and excellent wine. The service is excellent. Excellent value for money.

10/11/2025: I couldn't have asked for anything better: an excellent traditional lunch, excellent value for money, and attentive and warm staff. I'd say having lunch there is almost a must if you're in Benevento. Highly recommended.

The only thing that left me perplexed was the management of the main courses: they were served at different times, and I find it unfair that one person starts eating while the other waits. The coordination in the kitchen could be improved. That said, I left completely satisfied.

23/12/2025: Lunch today at this sensational restaurant was nothing short of perfect. From the warm and welcoming service, to the quality of food you would expect at a place 10x the price, all the while enjoying a beautifully classic fit-out of the place. If I could give 6 stars, I would. The owner is a lovely gentleman who offers just the right amount of information and hospitality. After moving from Australia to Italy a little over 2 years ago, I can say this is by far my favourite dining experience in Italy thus far. Davvero consigliato, non ho nient altro da dire. Proprio top. Vi ringrazio ancora e già non vedo l’ora di rivedervi!

At the _Con Gusto_ restaurant, warmly welcomed by Piera and Ivan, I discovered a corner of excellence where passion for cooking shines through in every detail. 👨‍🍳 Danilo, an emerging and surprisingly talented chef, created a truly applause-worthy lobster: a dish you don't just eat, you contemplate. Care, technique, and heart go into every bite. Leading this symphony of flavors are chef Adriano Perito and his wonderful wife Francesca, true guardians of hospitality and gastronomic elegance. Thank you so much for making this day an unforgettable memory. I'll be back soon... and with a big appetite!

Every bite confirmed our appreciation: a pan pizza that's captivating, balanced, and incredibly tasty. Beyond the pizza, the owners also made the difference: incredibly friendly, always smiling, kind, and extremely helpful, ready to offer advice and make you feel at home. 09/11/2025: Staff Quality "0" The staff who answers the phone and accepts "phone-only" reservations should do something else. I called today, November 9, 2025, at 12:30 PM to ask if they were showing the Inter-Lazio match at 8:45 PM, and they said yes. I then booked, leaving my details. They called me back a little while ago at 6:45 PM (so two hours before my reservation) and told me the match they were showing was the Benevento match. Terrible.

08/01/2026: We went here for dinner through local relatives who have known the place for a long time, and it didn't disappoint. The pizza is among the best we've had in the last 10 years! There's not a huge selection, but you can find everything from classic to more elaborate, and they're delicious. They also make fantastic fried pizza. Prices are average. The location is super cozy and elegant during the Christmas holidays. The waitress was very kind and cheerful. Service was very fast despite the place being almost full. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit small and has limited spaces, but otherwise, I definitely recommend it. Congratulations.

23/11/2025: We chose this pizzeria because it was mentioned in Gambero Rosso. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is quick and efficient. The pizza is good, with a truly excellent dough, although the ingredients didn't seem to be of the highest quality as Gambero Rosso claims. The menu offers a wide selection, perhaps even too many options. Overall, the experience was positive, but I must admit I've had better pizzas.

01/01/2026: An authentic and delightful experience A family-run agriturismo nestled in the countryside of Contrada Cancelleria, just minutes from Benevento, yet in a tranquil setting. A refined lunch, never overdone, that showcases rural tradition with lightness and moderation. The entrée was excellent, with flavorful potatoes, mountain pizzas, and fritters made with fresh pasta, authentic and well-made. The meats were tender and high-quality, and the first course was a real treat: fresh pasta with local cherry tomatoes, arugula, and Provolone del Monaco, balanced and flavorful. The dessert was also delicious. The Aglianico Benevento wine, produced on the farm, is noteworthy: fresh and sincere. The service was orderly, without chaos, well-timed, and the hospitality was great, making it ideal for families with children. A true agriturismo, with a farm behind it and its own products: cured meats, pasta, meats, and wine. A highly recommended experience. Mario (Naples)
