29/08/2025: Wonderful cuisine, featuring traditional local Irpinia ingredients, yet incorporating them into contemporary dishes. The chef takes great care to explain the dishes to the table. Service is fairly quick, the staff are friendly, and the space is a bit cramped. Reservations are required, but overall, highly recommended.

19/05/2025: It is a very beautiful place, but the spirituality of the past has been replaced by excessive business. The guide, in charge of the museum, was very thorough, kind and helpful.

15/06/2025: Stasera siamo stati accolti nel giardino,coccolati dalla frescura di Mercogliano.Ottima la pizza,leggerissima nell'impasto,ingredienti superlativi. Per non parlare del crocche' e dell'arancino. Ottimi i dolci da leccarsi i baffi. Il proprietario Roberto sempre disponibile, staff attento a tutti i dettagli...un luogo che regala pace e relax. Ci ritorneremo molto presto!

14/06/2025: Posto buono, parcheggio vicino, sala non molto grande, si mangia bene , delle pizze fatte bene, la cucina preparazione semplice. Quella sera c’erano due tavoli grande, ma non hanno creato disagi al servizio.

16/06/2025: Locale lungo il corso di mercogliano, con ampia sala esterna per l'estate. Discreta scelte di birre. Abbiamo preso prima degli antipasti non male, noisette con cacio e pepe, mozzarelline, pizza fritta con alici e stracciata e patate al forno porchetta e provola. Fritto bene, anche la pizza, buoni gli ingredienti, patate dovevano cuocere un altro po'. Poi abbiamo preso i panini che non ci hanno proprio colpito. Non ci hanno chiesto la cottura della carne, è arrivata la carne troppo cotta quindi asciutta e dal sapore strano, con spezie che non ci sono piaciute. Panino me lo aspettavo piu' croccante vedendo le foto. Uovo troppo cotto, la parmigiana aveva un sapore strano il sugo. Anche agli altri il panino non ha convinto, nè il panino in se' ne' la carne

14/08/2025: A wonderful location. The staff is always helpful and courteous. The food is spectacular. Everything is impeccably prepared, and then... the porcini mushrooms... so many... the true flavors of Irpinia.

12/08/2025: Always a top-notch place! I've been halfway around the world and my friends call me "the old man," but aches and pains aside, if I need a great pizza, I'll go there with all my might! The same goes for meat, pasta, appetizers, desserts, and wines!!! The old man never fails! Trust me!!!

21/08/2025: I'm not from the area, but I'm often in Mercogliano for work. I have to say that "Otto Grani" has become my go-to restaurant. The pizza is one of the best I've ever eaten, especially the "Diavola 2.0." You can taste the quality of the ingredients used. It's excellent value for money. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. My compliments!

20/08/2025: The pizza is average, but the prices are outrageous for a gas station in the province of Avellino. A single Margherita pizza to go costs €7. A four-cheese pizza to go costs €9. The prices are absurd and unjustifiable.
