04/08/2025: Positives: All the pastries are amazing—the puff pastry, the lamination, the craftsmanship, the wide selection, and the prices are fair. Negatives: Leaving aside the location, the coffee shop is awful. The coffee is horrible, there's no purging between cups, and the result is a bitter, disgusting mix. The young man is kind and polite, the lady is mournful (does she ever smile?). In conclusion, it's worth getting breakfast to go and enjoying it at home with a good coffee!

04/05/2025: Dos cenas en este encantador restaurante con una impresionante vista del Monte Etna han sido perfectas. El servicio es atento y servicial. El tagliatelle de esta noche con porcini estuvo delicioso. El camarero recomendó una excelente botella de vino local. Tuvimos el local Amara di Bergamotta de postre y era excelente t.

17/02/2025: Ambiente elegante con personale gentile e veloce.... Panorama mozzafiato...non so se si può sfruttare il terrazzino. Piatti abbondanti, gustosi e impiattati egregiamente.... molto gentili anche lo chef e il direttore..... Al prossimo evento... Consiglio vivamente!!!!

21/04/2025: Camerieri educato e gentilissimi Abbiamo mangiato benino, la quantità lasciava a desiderare, sono stata in parecchi agriturismi e non ho mai visto una fetta di capocollo una fetta di salame,la grigliata di cane si limitava a meno di un nodo di salsiccia e due pezzettini d agnello ustionati e no grigliati, ma la cosa che mi ha fatto un po' rimanere di sasso, è stato il comportamento della proprietaria che alla fine del pranzo, come in ogni agriturismo che si rispetti, il caffè viene offerto, e invece siamo andati via perché a palesemente detto al personale che senza scontrino il caffè nn andava fatto.... Che dire , forse si commenta da sola... Una cosa e sicura, nn mi vedranno piu

19/03/2025: Estremamente stanco e fortemente irritato per essere continuamente preso in giro da da questi sempre più numerosi ristoratori da Vip e Stelle Michelin, consiglio vivamente questo ristorante. Proprietari e personale gentilissimi ed educativo. Cibo buono e genuino. Carne ottima. Piatti abbondanti e anche con un tocco di abbinamenti particolari. Abbondanti e soprattutto ....a un prezzo onestissimo. Infatti il ristorante è spesso pieno (di persone che finalmente stanno cominciando a capire che il futuro sta in una ristorazione onesta sia nei prezzi sia nei rapporti con i giusti clienti non necessariamente...."Vip"....)

15/03/2025: È tappa fissa e luogo di ritrovo delle mie serate in città, ma mi sento in dover di segnalare la sconfinata maleducazione della cameriera. Non è accettabile che una persona che lavora a contatto con la gente non si crei problemi a rispondere a dei ventenni “c&zzi vostri, a me non interessa” dopo averle solo chiesto se potevamo accomodarci al piano superiore, non essendoci tanti posti giù essendo sabato sera (senza dunque rispondere in maniera mirata al nostro quesito ma con tutt’altro????). Io comprendo lo stress per il pienone del sabato sera, ma non ci siamo affatto posti in maniera sgarbata per meritare una risposta del genere.

16/09/2025: September 13, 2025 The Orchidea restaurant was the absolute protagonist of the most beautiful day of my life, my wedding. The hosts, Susanna and Sebastiano (two fantastic people), managed to organize the civil ceremony with the mayor and the wedding dinner in two separate rooms, outdoors, with a truly wonderful setting. The first part of the civil ceremony was celebrated in front of the upper pool, with numerous white chairs all decorated with flowers, a white carpet in the middle with two poufs and a floral arch, all impeccably lit, creating a moving atmosphere. The second part of the wedding dinner was organized in the ground-floor pool, in front of a lawn, with all the tables in the center and the aperitif stations all around, where my guests and all of us savored a menu of appetizers, almost entirely fish, with some meat, of indescribable deliciousness. Fish cooked in the most diverse ways, with a wide selection of courses. The appetizers were rich, plentiful, and delicious. The three first courses and two second courses, served at the table, were a huge success, with requests for more, which were not lacking. The organization of the kitchen and the dining room deserved top marks. The entire staff was fast, helpful, and kind. The final menu, featuring the wedding cake and an endless dessert buffet, was a resounding success. A variety of desserts, of indescribable deliciousness. I must and want to sincerely thank Susanna and Sebastiano for their professionalism, availability, kindness, friendliness, and humility. You managed to make my day a dream come true. I recommend all Calabrians and Italians who pass by the Orchidea to stop by and create your own unforgettable moment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...
