09/09/2025: It's a pub located in Scalea, right near the historic center. It's a family-run place, and the staff are very kind and always available. The food they serve is very good, with local and authentic products. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: We spent €43 for four people and ate really, really well. We arrived hungry, nervous because we didn't know where to eat, and confused because we didn't know what to eat. When we arrived, they gave us a really nice welcome. I don't know if it's family-run, but they made me feel that way—really kind and adorable. The three of us created our own burgers, and we were all four satisfied with what we ate. The cover charge is €1, very cheap—I'm mentioning this because it costs a lot in other places. Honestly, I really appreciated it. The price is fair, the food is good, the music is great, and the restrooms are super clean. Highly recommended. We arrived by chance on that street, so we didn't book. I don't think it's necessary, but maybe it depends on the time of day.

15/07/2025: We recently visited this cafe and were disappointed. We ordered ice cream for a large group and sat down at a table, but were rudely asked to leave because we didn’t get ice cream in a glass container. Why does this rule only apply to us, when other guests were sitting quietly with disposable cups? It seems that the administration cares more about unrealistic rules than about the comfort of customers. This was not our first, but probably the last visit to this establishment. We hope that the cafe will review its policies so as not to lose customers in the future.

15/07/2025: The gelato here is truly delicious, and for several days we've come here to buy some for the kids in the afternoon. Today we returned with some friends. We bought six gelatos (small and large) and sat at a table. As you can see in the photo, the tables were empty. A waiter approached us and literally chased us away, saying that to sit at the table you have to order gelato in a glass (as he said). I'm sure we spent more for our six gelatos than, for example, the four people sitting next to us who shared a single gelato. I've never been kicked off a table at an gelato shop; it was truly unpleasant. We finished our gelato sitting on the sidewalk, to avoid the kids eating it while walking and getting dirty. It ruined our mood. We definitely won't be returning.

04/05/2025: Zeker één van de beste restaurants in Scalea. Gelegen op een sfeervol pleintje in het oude centrum. Beperkte menukaart maar meestal staat dit borg voor verse en kwaliteitsvolle producten én dat bleek ook zo te zijn. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Een topervaring.

26/04/2025: Posto finora perfetto stasera tanta delusione. 2 paccheri all astice 70€ ove in questi non c era nessun connubio. Non è una questione economica ma solamente pura mancanza di combinazione culinaria/soporifera. Non so se tornerò x dare un ulteriore chance. Saluti e buona vita

20/08/2025: I had the opportunity to try the sandwich at The Burger Bros at the Scalea amusement park, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional: the meat was fantastic, the cheddar was real cheese sliced ​​on the spot, and the bacon was high-quality, not the usual processed product. The owner and his wife were extremely kind and made sure we were satisfied. I will definitely be back; it's undoubtedly the best sandwich in Scalea.

04/05/2025: I ended up at Giò’s pub after walking around Scalia a bit trying to find something for dinner. In Italy, everything Seems to fall into two categories, street food or fine dining. As soon as you walk into Giò’s, you notice the casual atmosphere. Families and young people enjoying time together with burgers and food free of pretense. I had the jalapeño poppers and a burger that I almost couldn’t finish. The topper? Ice. I got a glass of ice for my Coke. Lol, as an Americano it’s the small things in Italy that matter. I really enjoyed the energy of the customers and the service kept up with a full house. Bravo!

04/09/2025: Clean environment, courteous and friendly staff. Normal wait times. The pizza is crispy with excellent leavening, fresh ingredients, and the quality is evident. Normal prices, a variety of options, and excellent customer service. In the summer, if you order takeout, I recommend booking in advance so you can at least get it at the time you choose.

19/08/2025: We just got 4 takeaway pizzas. In short, it needs to change its name. It's not a pizzeria because they were flying saucers. There was no mozzarella but cheese, they were tiny and horrible. We fasted and paid €30 for 4 pizzas, practically a rip-off.

19/08/2025: The place is nice, but that's the only thing that's above mediocrity. I ordered five pizzas (one gluten-free for my wife) for takeout at 9:00 PM. The gluten-free pizza came out of the oven 15 minutes before the others and had no better dough than the one at the pharmacy. The regular pizzas, picked up at 9:38 PM, had a nearly mediocre dough with a crust that was horrible, both visually and in flavor. One of the pizzas even had a hair on it. It was a truly awful experience, highly discouraged. PS. Pizzas are filling.

04/10/2025: A typical Calabrian trattoria located in the old town of Scalea. A truly romantic setting, especially in the evening. Excellent dishes, definitely worth a try!

30/09/2025: Let's start with the charming, almost magical location nestled in an ancient corner of Scalea. The service was excellent; the ladies who served us were very kind and thorough in explaining the dishes. The food was excellent and plentiful; the dishes we ordered truly showcased the true flavor of Calabrian cuisine. The prices were more than fair.

03/08/2025: We stayed at Villa Brazzano and were absolutely thrilled! The property is stunning, meticulously maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery, perfect for relaxing in touch with nature. The breakfast is excellent, with fresh fruit and a good variety of products to suit all tastes. The staff was always kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel right at home. A charming place that we highly recommend.

22/06/2025: Fantastic weekend, lots of friendliness and excellent service, we will return because we were treated with professionalism. Place surrounded by greenery and so fresh to relax without problems, thanks to Villa Brazzano

27/07/2025: The Genova Hotel restaurant has closed. The hotel remains, still among the most recommended in Scalea, but the restaurant has changed management. And its name, too: it's now called "Cedro e peperoncino."

25/07/2025: Ottima la carne di alta qualità , cortesia del personale .. ma la cosa sorprendente è stata la velocità nel servirci , locale pieno in circa 30 minuti in 5 avevamo quasi finito .. ci torneremo ..
