24/04/2025: I'm sorry, but you can't spend 36 euros on 2 sandwiches and 2 bottles of water!! Absolutely average sandwiches, certainly the price does not justify the quality of the products. There is better in the area, and at a lower price. I hope it's food for thought.

21/04/2025: The welcome you don't expect! - yes, it might seem like a title in favor of the place but, alas, it is not so. Three of us show up, without a reservation, seeing the place not crowded and having the possibility of dining in an intermediate room that overlooks the outside, we ask if it was possible to sit there; the first positive response, from an employee, immediately another hesitant boy comes forward, finally the person who is presumed to be the "manager" of the place introduces himself (specifically in quotation marks, because reluctantly, it only has the title), he insinuates himself into our request by insisting on the fact that smoking is not allowed in the covered external part, something that we had not even specified, (I made this request specifically, since the previous week I had the exact same response , i.e. that the requested area could only be used within the total capacity of the internal room). Courtesy then becomes a matter of principle, making us sit where requested. Almost annoyed by our presence and by the request which did not cause any kind of obstacle to the service of the place (since other people sat down after us), the so-called manager disappears for the whole evening. Let's move on to the service; Credit where credit is due to the female portion of the restaurant, who, with grace and attention, took care of and corrected the errors during the service taking place at the table. The dishes: sore point. They arrive in batches, with the wrong number of portions based on that described on the menu. Let's point this out, in the meantime they were still waiting for the beers to arrive, which unfortunately arrived long after the food. Beverage: one beer on tap, one in a bottle, one in a can. Perfect, nothing bad... but: 1- ladies are served first; 2- if I order something in a can, you don't bring me the drink already poured and you leave the empty can on the table, just to make me present; either you bring it closed, or you pour it at the table. When we pointed out the service errors, food timing and chipped dishes, miraculously the service improved, a note of merit always and only to the girl in charge. She corrected the orders, making the rest of the meal pleasant, if it hadn't been for her we wouldn't have added other rounds of drinks and would have left immediately. However, once we paid the bill, the manager didn't even bother to say hello or ask how it went. Remaining in its aura of superiority, which unfortunately is not suitable in practice. Important note: a customer does not go out to eat to complain and create problems a priori. But it is right that when going to a place, whatever it is, that requires a service, it is treated respectfully, following the deep-rooted rules of catering. Nobody expects Michelin star service in a pub, but not even the arrogance of imposing on customers, for a request that does not hinder the work of others. A terrible start, with a recovery in the middle and a collapse at the end. Praise for the vast choice of beers and a note of merit for the waitress. Manager and the rest of the service definitely needs to be reviewed. Two stars.

Maybe they should learn to bleed the machine between one coffee and another... without taking anything away from the older generation

03/05/2025: La qualità dei dolci è molto alta:ho assaggiato un cannolo e un mignon al cioccolato, entrambi freschissimi e realizzati con ingredienti di prima scelta. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile. Un posto in cui tornare sicuramente, perfetto per una pausa dolce durante la giornata.

The waitress comes back and did you order anything else?” Pointing out to her that there is a loser who will have to wait longer "he's coming out with the next batch" (pre-established response for these cases: so I console myself that we're not the first) but then "next batches" go by and finally at 10.44pm the pizza arrives for everyone 6 pinses Two chips 5 beers and a zero coke €102 It certainly won't fall into disgrace but it will never occur to us to go back

16/05/2025: Sotto insistenza dei bambini, decidiamo di cenare in questo fast food, e sicuramente non metteremo mai più piede in un OWW! Quando vado da McDonald, sono consapevole di cosa mangio e di conseguenza della cifra che spendo, quindi lamentarsi del McDonald è ridicolo e fuori luogo; ma se vado a mangiare in un posto dove pago il doppio del Mc, perchè da Old Wild West con meno di 25€ a persona non si mangia, pretendo di mangiare per quello che spendo. Nel posto in questione è così: paghi mediamente il doppio del Mc per mangiare la medesima qualità. Io personalmente ho ordinato lo Smash Burger, un panino che pubblicizzano e fanno vedere come una montagna, dove due persone faticherebbero a mangiarlo: ebbene si spende 16 € per un panino fatto da due hamburger ridicoli e il pane che sembra quello che compri a pacchi da 20 nei peggiori discount, con cetriolini acidi che distruggono tutti i sapori e insalata vecchia. Il prezzo delle bevande è paragonabile ai baracchini fuori dagli stadi, e i dessert costano meno se vai nella pasticceria di Iginio Massari. Prima del covid si mangiava veramente bene negli OWW, qualità buona e prezzi onesti; adesso il rapporto qualità-prezzo è vergognoso.

Having ordered a takeaway pizza for my celiac daughter, when it's time to make it (luckily I was there) the pizza chef takes the base and, on the floured counter where he lays out the other pizzas, he rolls out the tomato from the same container and with the same spoon as the previous ones, and takes the mozzarella with floured hands, always in the same containers. To my complaints he replied that on the menu (which I have not seen) he warns customers of contamination (THEREFORE HE IS AWARE OF WHAT HE IS DOING). But on the phone he said nothing. What if I hadn't arrived earlier? And anyway, WHAT IS THE SENSE OF TAKING THE GLUTEN-FREE BASE?

18/01/2025: Historic pizzeria in Rende, excellent pizza with turnips and sausage, comfortable room for eating hot pizza. Thin and crunchy pizza, the baked fresine are also excellent. The weekend is very crowded, like most of the places in Rende, personally I find it more comfortable to wait in line.

04/02/2025: Ristorante- pizzeria in posizione strategica sulla strada statale 107, a poche centinaia di metri dallo svincolo Cosenza Nord-Rende dell'autostrada A2 e dall'Università della Calabria, da anni è una meta che garantisce un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il menu è variegato. Se si opta per il pesce, ordinando antipasto (da assaggiare i marinati e le insalate di molluschi), secondo (non male i gratinati e le grigliate), contorno e dessert e un calice di vino si spendono circa 35 euro. Il prodotto fresco si può vedere in un piccolo banco frigorifero all'ingresso, ma la scelta non è ampia. Tuttavia il congelato è di buona qualità. Con i menu di terra il conto finale è leggermente inferiore (ottime le paste fresche anche abbinate con la carne). Tra i bonus il parcheggio, l'ampia sala, l'orario lungo di apertura, lo staff molto professionale. Di sera funziona anche la pizzeria con discreto successo.
