01/09/2025: Super extensive and delicious menu, very kind waiters and owners, highly recommended. Our favorite spaghetti restaurant.

14/08/2025: We ordered four first courses. The pasta was good, and the guanciale was tasty, but one of the four courses, with anchovies, was too salty, almost inedible. I was told it was due to the saltiness of the anchovies. We weren't offered an alternative, and at the end of the meal, the bill wasn't adjusted downwards. It's a shame, a missed opportunity to upgrade. We obviously won't be returning to this restaurant.

11/07/2025: Had lunch there today and enjoyed it very much. I came because of the recommendation in the Gambero Rosso guide. By 13:30 the inside dining room was about full. Excellent and well though-out menu and wine list. The quenelle di baccal was my favorite. Highly recommend. Even though there were white table cloths, I'll guess dinner is more elevated than the casual lunch crowd. :-)

05/08/2025: To leave a completely transparent review, I'd like to point out that I've known Carlotta, the host, for many years, but I'd never visited her restaurant. Last night, I was fortunate enough to dine at 'Tre cipolla sul comò' for the first time. I could tell from the name that it was a unique place, but the experience exceeded my expectations. The place is clean (enough to let my nephew run around barefoot!) and decorated with extreme care and originality... down to the smallest details. The food is delicious and inclusive. I have severe dietary restrictions (gluten and lactose), and I didn't feel limited in my choices. The menu caters to everyone. I had fried gnocchi with vegetable fondue, slow-cooked meat, grilled vegetables, and homemade fries. Everything was delicious. The meat was absolutely stellar. My niece, on the other hand, who has traditional tastes, had meatballs with pecorino cheese and tagliatelle with sausage. She also left her plates empty. The prices are competitive and the portions are generous. A restaurant you absolutely must try, offering a variety of experiences: a sensory experience, a dive into Calabrian tradition, a glimpse into culinary innovation, the pleasure of family simplicity, and a sense of inclusion—food, physical, and emotional.

15/07/2025: At this restaurant, we found a great deal of care and passion throughout. The restaurant, which also offers outside seating, is beautifully presented with many thoughtful details. The walls feature several very interesting quotes. The menu offers something for every taste, which the owner explains (upon request) with great passion and a meticulous selection of ingredients. The service was excellent, with reasonable waiting times between courses and a focus on the well-being of diners. If you're passing through Rende, we recommend stopping here for a quality lunch (or dinner).

31/07/2025: Ci ritorno sempre con voglia sia per gli ottimi piatti, variegati ed abbondanti, sia per il beverage Ferrocinto. Sono stato consigliato da Ivan a provare il Rosato del Pollino, che dire... qualità eccelsa che ha rafforzato la già ottima location, pulita ed accogliente con il personale sorridente e presente che ti fa sentire veramente coccolato. Ovvio che siiiii!!!! Alla prossima!!!!

24/02/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una serata bellissima, cibo buonissimo, il top sono: risotto al magliocco, tonno con cipolla in agrodolce e il caciocavallo piastrato. Da ritornare sicuramente, soprattutto per il calice di Vino Magliocco.

17/09/2025: I'm the owner, and to respond to Luca Ariosti's review, I have to say that nothing of what's written is consistent. To begin with, the owner doesn't talk about food at the tables because there are waitstaff there. The restaurant doesn't exactly cost €100 per person, it's always clean, and there aren't a single dirty table in any of the three different areas. Parking, for those familiar with the area, is free and plentiful... I won't go into more detail because I'm sure this isn't our restaurant.

30/09/2025: Best visited on less chaotic days. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable, but the service is a bit slow. The appetizers are excellent, but the pizza is a bit less so.

25/07/2025: Frequento questa pizzeria da molti anni e ogni volta è una garanzia. Anche durante l’ultima cena in due, con la sala interna quasi al completo e il caldo estivo all’esterno, l’ambiente è rimasto piacevolmente fresco grazie a un’ottima climatizzazione. Le porzioni sono abbondanti: una porzione di patatine dippers è più che sufficiente per due persone. Un dettaglio da non sottovalutare è la generosa quantità di salse, spesso proporzionata al numero di porzioni ordinate in altri locali. Le pizze, come sempre, deliziose: ben condite, cotte alla perfezione nel forno a legna e davvero saporite. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: personale cordiale, attento e rapidissimo, nonostante l’elevato numero di clienti. Tempi d’attesa praticamente nulli. Il conto? Assolutamente onesto: con una dippers, due pizze ben farcite, un’acqua, una Coca Cola (da 33 in vetro) e un caffè abbiamo speso solo 30€. Davvero raro trovare un simile equilibrio tra qualità, quantità e prezzo. Consigliatissima!
