11/05/2026: Warm and friendly atmosphere, a little dated but intentionally so; the pub isn't very large but is suitable for groups and events. The staff and owner are welcoming, kind, and helpful. The sandwiches are made with local ingredients, from the burgers to the cheeses, almost everything locally sourced. A good selection of beers makes it perfect for an evening with friends.

27/08/2024: Attirati dalla bella posizione ci fermiamo, io e mia moglie, in questo ristorante con vista sul mare che, però, non abbiamo potuto ammirare a causa della pioggia e dell' oscurità, in quanto era sera. Ad accoglierci il titolare del locale, affabile e gentile ed il suo valido cameriere, simpatico e professionale. Abbiamo assaggiato una serie di antipasti, ovviamente a base di pesce, caldi e freddi, i quali, pur rispettando la tradizione calabrese, si presentavano con un tocco di estro, da noi particolarmente gradito. Il piatto migliore è stato, comunque, il polpo alla piastra con cipolle caramellate, consigliato dal titolare e cucinato dalla moglie, chef indiscussa del locale.

24/07/2025: Agriturismo curato nei dettagli, personale gentile , materie prime di ottima qualita’ e prezzi nella media, punto di forza specialita’ carne alla brace……personalmente vorrei consigliare di migliorare e potenziare il menu’ senza glutine abbinandolo al senza lattosio ( perché comprare una semplice mozzarella senza lattosio che ormai le vendono tutti I supermercati per condire la pizza gluten free, non la vedo una cosa così difficile ). Spero che questo mio consiglio venga ascoltato , perché sarebbe un ‘ ulteriore punto di forza per il locale, dato che la zona non offre tanta scelta per gli intolleranti ……da consigliare

08/07/2025: Locale immerso in un oliveto . Si cena con vista Cirò ma soprattutto si mangia benissimo a prezzi onesti. Da andare e ... riandare.

03/08/2025: Da Fiorella, sempre una garanzia. Cibo di qualità e porzioni oneste, personale garbato con attenzione al cliente. Pranzare all’aria aperta e in tranquillità, una sosta piacevole. La novità di quest’anno è stato il gelato: SQUISITO! Torneremo ancora e ancora!

26/07/2025: Grazie al gemellaggio con il Fai abbiamo avuto l’occasione dí conoscere questo meraviglioso agriturismo, che dispone di camere e ristorante. I proprietari, di una cortesia indescrivibile, ci hanno illustrato tutte le fasi di produzione del formaggio, dalla mungitura fino alla stagionatura. Abbiamo avuto modo di assaggiare i loro prodotti, oltre che pranzare nel ristorante, constatando l’ottima qualità di tutti i piatti, ad un prezzo più che ragionevole. Noi sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

19/08/2025: The owner (I assume), manager, pizza chef, chef, and, in short, Deus Ex Machina Raffaele deserves 5 stars for his helpfulness and the kindness he exudes from every pore. In my opinion, it's impossible to argue with someone like him. I have many Calabrian friends and acquaintances, but he's one of a kind. A visit to his culinary "laboratory" is worth a visit just for the pleasure of meeting him. My family and I were returning from a trip to Tropea and Pizzo, two pearls of Calabria's Tyrrhenian coast that have nothing to envy of the Sorrento peninsula (I'd almost say "quite the opposite"). We were hungry, however, and we could have eaten and digested stones. That said, we wanted pizza, and while we waited, he offered us some fried calamari, made with clean oil and quite tasty. Then the pizzas arrived. I'm not judging these because I'm Neapolitan and these pizzas are not, so there's no point in trying to be a sophist. If you're in Amantea and order a pizza, you can eat it and keep quiet. Afterwards, he offered us some ravioli filled with "seafood" and topped with a nice prawn. If they had been hot and the sauce thinner, I wouldn't hesitate to call them as stratospheric as dear Raffaele said. After a very honest bill, he offered us coffee. In conclusion, the atmosphere isn't appealing, but there's outdoor seating, in the pizzeria, and in the restaurant. The cooking is influenced by the fact that Raffaele does everything himself, with the help, I believe, of his children—many young, well-mannered people. I've described the place as a "workshop" because it has the potential to grow, and I wish it the best of luck. Perhaps if Antonino Cannavacciuolo were to come by, he'd know how to guide him. One thing's for sure: I'll be back. And if you go and find the food isn't good, or even too good, I urge you to be more tolerant; Raffaele deserves it. Last but not least: the name of the place would normally scare me away, but he likes it, so be it.

02/10/2024: Premessa: io sto recensendo una cena a base di astice fresco. Per me è stata una esperienza bellissima, vedere all'entrata l'acquario con gli astici vivi mi ha fatto venire voglia di mangiarne uno. E devo dire che è stato cucinato divinamente, era eccezionale. Quindi super soddisfatto della qualità. Servizio e location, da lido... Ma va bene così, era una sera di agosto.

04/09/2024: Come al solito una garanzia, il pesce che serve Gianni è sempre TOP. Antipasto con vari assaggi tutto cucinato TOP Primi divisi tra due assaggi di scialatielli agli scampi e calamarata Vino Pescanera ippolito Vino offerto dal proprietario una Bottiglia "DonnaGiovanna" Tartufo di pizzo per tutti Prezzo Onestissimo per la qualità delle materie prime offerte Euro 45,00 a testa Come ogni anno da ritornare!

30/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante spinti dalla location, direttamente sulla spiaggia, piacevole in una calda serata estiva.  Ci hanno gentilmente fornito il menù che però non è stato mai rispettato. Il menù fisso non era disponibile e i piatti non sono stati serviti come descritto. La cameriera non era informata quasi su nulla, qualsiasi cosa era costretta a chiedere, persino se il pesce servito fosse fresco o surgelato. Il cibo non all'altezza del conto. Alla fine, dopo aver fatto notare che nel conto erano riportati importi non dovuti, la proprietaria piuttosto che scusarsi, ha tenuto solo a sottolineare che non abbiamo rimandato il piatto peggiore in cucina. Sarà forse una nuova gestione ma certamente la strada da percorrere è molto lunga.

18/07/2025: Il personale è molto gentile, i tempi troppo lunghi, ma i piatti molto buoni e leggeri, porzioni limitate e poca scelta nel menù.

16/08/2024: Brioche enorme e con gusti molto cremosi. Diciamo che si sentiva la consistenza pannosa gradevole al gusto. Unica pecca, sappiate che se prendete la mille foglie al pistacchio di pistacchio nom ha nulla, bensì contiene solamente amarena (nella lista degli ingredienti del gusto non viene nominata l'amarena).

07/08/2024: Un viaggio a traverso gli occhi ed il cuore di due esperti gelatai, padre e figlio, pluripremiati che ti fanno assaggiare il vero gelato! Da andarci assolutamente!! Noi ci torneremo sicuramente!!
