14/11/2024: Small restaurant with a strong point: the small terrace overlooking the port of Maratea... inside it is very small and in my opinion it is annoying to notice the smells and vapors coming from the kitchen which has windows open onto the small indoor room (where I had dinner).
The quality of the food and the fish is good, but nothing so spectacular as to justify the prices which in my opinion are too expensive and the servings are not even that plentiful.
Friendly owner, efficient service but I was a little annoyed by the behavior of the waitresses who, as soon as they saw the almost finished dish, immediately approached to clear the table... they made me a little anxious 😅

14/10/2024: Excellent cuisine, fresh and well-made fish. Courteous staff and panoramic view. Prices are adequate for what you eat, perhaps the desserts cost more than I would have expected but it's still worth it. The only downside is the service which is slightly slow but we will definitely return for the quality we found
13/10/2024: Sleepy when out of season, this is a tranquil but easily accessed location off the coast road, part of a small hotel. Had sea bass (spigola) tartar and grilled area bass filet, with grilled and sauteed vegetables. Large windows take in partially obscured sea views, and the whole has a dated, rather 70s/80s feel. Friendly cat!

29/08/2024: I recently visited this place, attracted by the positive reviews that spoke of impeccable service and a refined atmosphere. On these two aspects, I must admit that expectations were fully met.
The staff was extremely attentive and courteous, demonstrating rare professionalism. Each of our requests was handled with care and discretion, making the service one of the highlights of the evening. The restaurant environment is quiet and pleasantly refined, with elegant decor and background music that encourages conversation.
Unfortunately, however, the sore point of our experience was the food. Expectations were high, but the dishes failed to meet them. The courses arrived well presented, but the flavors were rather disappointing. Despite the care taken in preparation, the taste did not live up to what was promised.
In summary, a place that deserves attention for its customer care and welcoming environment, but which should review the quality of the food to offer a complete and satisfying experience.
29/08/2024: Decent appetizers, first courses not up to expectations, too long wait motivated by the preparation of homemade pasta. The flavors of the first course of anchovies did not combine with each other. The ricotta in the ravioli is too hard and grainy.

11/11/2024: Fish was very tasty, but the side dishes (aubergine and courgette for €5 each) were a complete disgrace, both dishes were basically raw, cold, unseasoned and consisted of 3 thin slices. However, the house wine and ambience were very nice, and the service was nice

22/08/2024: Restaurant with quality products such as local bottled oil instead of commercial sachets, lively and friendly atmosphere. First courses with homemade pasta and gnocchi, rich appetizers.
19/08/2024: Beautiful evening in a characteristic place...pepi cruschi hanging, typical products in the window, wines on display, owner who takes orders and works instead of sitting at home.
He satisfied the requests of adults and children!

TRULY artisan croissants and pastries, fresh, divine and light.
Enchanting historic place with attention to detail. A few words from the owner...but the right ones.
Also worth trying are the special coffees with various aromas.
Price slightly above average but the price difference is worth it.
Quality is priceless.
Thank you so much for this wonderful little corner.

15/10/2024: Ristorante - pizzeria senza grosse pretese a pochi passi dal centro storico di Maratea, facile da raggiungere. Abbiamo preso degli antipasti non indimenticabili ma le pizze invece ci hanno particolarmente colpito: buona la varietà ma soprattutto ottima la qualità. Servizio cortese e abbastanza veloce ed attento. I prezzi assolutamente in linea con quelli della zona. Non siamo rimasti delusi!
13/10/2024: Io e la mia compagna siamo stati a cena in questo locale, ubicato alle porte di Matera.
La qualità e la preparazione del cibo veramente ottimi.
Uniche note negative sono state l’accoglienza e l’atmosfera. Ad esempio L’accoglienza e il servizio sono stati effettuati con troppo distacco, capisco che il lavoro stanca ma un sorriso non pesa tanto.
Un cameriere può essere la figura di riferimento per il cliente, che determina in una buona percentuale la decisione di andare in un locale piuttosto che in un altro.
Per quanto riguarda invece l’atmosfera al posto della TV accesa che nessuno stava guardando ci avrei messo ad esempio un po’ di musica di sottofondo.

YUMARA - le terrazze del gusto

12/12/2024: I was struck by this restaurant that I saw from the port of Maratea, it is very high and well lit. We were passing through here for just two nights and we were able to try this fantastic restaurant with this fantastic view, a very welcoming tourist place, easy to reach if you are at the port. The menu is very vast from pizza to fish, there is a good choice of wines. The service is excellent, we met a boy who worked there who immediately recognized that we were from Naples and made himself available to us, he looked after us and prepared these fantastic desserts for us which we highly recommend, then he had us prepare some driks which unfortunately I didn't photograph but they were excellent, if you want the right advice ask for Luigi he is a very kind and very sociable boy. For the rest there is a "magical" atmosphere, seeing the port and everything from above is truly crazy. I haven't had any bad experiences, great food and great prices. I recommend this restaurant and above all let Luigi follow you.

Location accogliente con tavoli all'interno e su una terrazza non troppo grande
Personale molto accogliente e disponibile e qualità del cibo buona com un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Unico neo, che sottolineo perché me ne sono reso conto a casa, è stato il prezzo di un bicchiere di passito locale, credo Cantine del Notaio, che mi è stato fatto pagare 14€! Un bicchiere di passito non di champagne Francese.... Sinceramente sono ancora sbalordito il che mi fa dire che il posto è troppo caro per quello che offre
08/08/2024: Luogo suggestivo, ottima qualità delle materie prime e personale accogliente e sorridente.
Ottimo il guazzetto di pesce e superbe le fettuccelle con scampi e riduzione di caffè.
Dario, lo chef, applica alla sua cucina passione e ricerca.
