07/07/2026: Fantastic! While passing through Policoro, we accidentally ended up at this trattoria. Simple but functional, it offers good service and, above all, fantastic home-made dishes! (You must try the Frizzuli, they're wonderful.)

20/08/2026: I've rarely given 5 stars, but this time it deserves it. I discovered this lovely place in Policoro and was pleasantly surprised by the food. Both the presentation and the flavor combination were excellent. I had the cacio e pepe with red shrimp, and the two flavors paired beautifully. The dishes were also very generous in portions. A lovely discovery.

12/08/2026: Honestly, given the expectations raised by the person who recommended the place to me, I expected more. The atmosphere is very rustic and uncomplicated. My table was outside on the street. The menu offers interesting dishes. We ordered the calamari spillo to kill the wait for the sandwiches, but unfortunately the calamari took 35 minutes to arrive. The octopus sandwich I ordered was with nduja. I expected much more; you could barely taste the nduja. The prices are reasonable. I had a salted caramel cheesecake, perhaps one of the worst I've ever tasted.

11/08/2026: Excellent place, quality pizza and ingredients, efficient service. They offer excellent gluten-free pizza (for those with a mild intolerance, it's grilled in the same gluten-free pizza oven). The quality/price ratio is standard.

08/07/2026: The expertise, friendliness, and hospitality of the young man who welcomed us and served us expertly from start to finish (even though we hadn't booked) were spectacular. We ordered seafood dishes (including the catch of the day). The raw seafood (oysters, red and white shrimp) was incredibly fresh and rich in flavor without any added ingredients. The seafood risotto was exquisite. The grilled calamari was tender and juicy. All accompanied by an excellent, crisp Chardonnay. To finish, a Jefferson amaro is highly recommended. A relaxing location with an evening breeze and soft background music. Spent much less than expected. What can I say...to remember.

07/07/2026: I've been to the Hermes Restaurant in Policoro several times, and each time has been a confirmation. It's one of those places you'll want to return to because you know you'll eat well. The quality of the ingredients is always high, the dishes are carefully prepared, and the fish is truly excellent. The service also deserves a mention: the staff is courteous, professional, and always attentive to the customer. It's not easy to maintain consistency over time, but Hermes manages it. For me, it's a guarantee and a go-to place when I want to spend a pleasant evening eating well. Congratulations to the entire staff; keep up the good work! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

15/08/2026: The product quality is excellent, but even more so, the staff and owners are excellent, always smiling and helpful. The place is clean and welcoming, and it makes me want to return more and more.

18/08/2026: My partner and I went to this little place in the center of Policoro. A charming and well-kept place with an outdoor terrace overlooking a small square. For appetizers, we had octopus meatballs, which were truly delicious, and fried cod with cruschi peppers, which were also very good. We continued with two octopus sandwiches: both were exquisite. I especially enjoyed the black one with octopus, capocollo, and figs. A truly perfect combination. It's a shame about the capoccolo; if there had been a little more, the dish would certainly have been more balanced. But overall, it was truly delicious. Since we were so hungry, we also had the octopus with mashed potatoes: the best surprise of the evening. The octopus was incredibly tender and masterfully flavored with oregano, which really gave that extra touch and made this dish extremely flavorful and tasty. Fair prices and excellent value for money.

20/08/2026: I had high expectations because the reviews were excellent, but for me it was a bit disappointing. The atmosphere is nice and in keeping with a seafood restaurant. The service is attentive and the staff is friendly. But the food lacks the flavor of the sea. The seafood risotto didn't taste like fish. The au gratin mussels weren't au gratin and were missing garlic and parsley. On the other hand, the fried calamari was good. Average rating.
