05/01/2026: Discovered thanks to TripAdvisor, this trattoria was a wonderful surprise. The atmosphere was warm and familiar, just as you'd expect from a Lucanian restaurant. We tried the cavatelli with black chickpeas and shrimp, the frizzoli with ragù and breadcrumbs, the buffalo mozzarella with cherry tomatoes, and the charcuterie board: everything was delicious and made with the freshest ingredients. The service was courteous and never intrusive. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back! 😊

25/12/2025: Paccheri with cicadas, macaroni with ferretto, cod with bruschi peppers, all excellent. We would have liked to try the rest of the menu, but it would have been impossible for four of us. We'll be back on the return trip from Sicily to Milan. I forgot about the Altamura loaf and the berry cheesecake. For four of us, it was the best €75 we spent on our vacation. Excellent!

04/01/2026: From Calabria. We went with friends, stumbling upon it. The owner, exquisite in his manner, saved us from an evening that seemed lost. He made some changes to the menu. The octopus salad with onion and cucumber was amazing, the shrimp cocktail with sesame seeds (I think!). The pepperoni cruschi were incredibly crunchy. The pizzas were excellent. The fried shrimp and calamari were top-notch, the tuna steak was very delicate. Everything was absolutely perfect. Recommended We'll be back. And we will. Thank you.

11/12/2025: Warm and very welcoming place, the owner Mr. Emanuele is very kind and affable, I ate pizza and appetizers on a Saturday evening, then we went for lunch, the restaurant was full but despite everything the waiting times were not long, praise must also be given to the service, I recommend it 🥰

15/01/2026: We were warmly welcomed at this restaurant, and immediately felt thoughtfully pampered. The menu is quite varied, though in my opinion it leans toward seafood, but as the website clearly shows, there's more. I started with the egg in yolk and found it very good and well-balanced. When the next course changed, they replaced my glass to avoid tainting the egg flavor—a rare touch in service. I continued with the cacio e pepe with red shrimp, and was also satisfied, though for my taste, the cacio e pepe would pair better with the tonnarelli. The freshness of the shrimp contrasts beautifully with the intense flavor of the cacio e pepe. The pasta is generous, but in addition to the standard portion, you can also purchase a larger portion that can be shared, and it's served in a striking stainless steel grater. For my second course, I chose a tuna steak, and again, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients and the quantity. I happily concluded my experience with the warm apple, cinnamon, and walnut cake with crunchy ice cream. I also had the opportunity to try other dishes on the menu and can confirm that the quality of the ingredients is always very high, as is the respect shown in the dishes. Among my favorites: pot & tartare, the vegetable-sea fry, the seafood course, and the dragon's eye. The staff was always attentive and kind, table service was quite fast, and the atmosphere was quiet. The restrooms were always clean and well-stocked, as well as the very tidy open kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay, and I definitely recommend trying this experience.

24/08/2025: Today we finally ate at this restaurant. It's very difficult to find a table because it's always packed. Beautiful location near the sea. The staff is very friendly. The food is good quality and well-prepared. Lunch was seafood-based. I especially recommend the seafood paccheri. We had a variety of appetizers and two first courses. The portions were so generous that we couldn't finish the second course. I recommend trying this restaurant. Book at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.

24/01/2026: It's a nice place, but you have to wait for a table; you can't sit down right away. The waiter forgot to bring ketchup and mayonnaise, and there weren't enough cups. The pizza didn't take long to arrive; it was very large and delicious. The restroom is small and littered with junk, but there's a changing table. The checkout counter sells expired cookies, but they say they messed up the date.

19/01/2026: Wonderful stay in Policoro and the surrounding area. As always, we stayed at the Hotel Hermes. It was comfortable, clean, with friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. We'll be back as usual.

10/11/2025: Fresh, excellent fish. The restaurant's style and dishes are certainly a throwback, but that's what I like; in fact, I go there 2-3 times a year. A safe haven where you can enjoy excellent, generous seafood dishes at a fair price.

25/08/2025: We've eaten at this bakery several times. Very fair prices, one of the best focaccias I've ever eaten. They also offer first and second courses. For a quick lunch at very reasonable prices. Everything I ate at this bakery was good. It made our holiday in Policoro more enjoyable. We will definitely return to this bakery.

22/08/2025: I was impressed by the quality of the dishes, both in terms of presentation and ingredients, and of course by the flavor. I was also very impressed by the professional and elegant service, and by the wine. Being a wine bar, there's a wide selection of excellent wines. And for those who like it, they can even saber! In conclusion, it's a restaurant worth trying, even if it means traveling two hours! Exceptional!
