22/10/2023: The mussels were very tasty and abundant in quantity, very well presented. The mixed seafood pasta with mussels, classic, shrimp was amazing with a tasty sauce . So good and was able to dip some bread in also. The cuttlefish was also well presented and tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant. What a treat to have so many good choices of fish and seafood on the menu. The service was first class. I would reccomend this restaurant for atmosphere, service, food , and wine. Best diner yet in Italy.

02/01/2024: Please do not give companies like this your money. Go to any other friendly establishment in Matera. Cafés like this and people like this or what give Italy a bad name. Just so you know, your bread and butter is from the money of tourists. The bald guy behind the bar was so rude and the other servers wouldn’t even move out of your way after you waited for five minutes just having conversation with each other. Even to see the food on display they clearly do not want certain people in there. I’m not sure who it is if it’s tourists or what I am well dressed and well mannered. Maybe it’s race, maybe it’s bias against tourists, or maybe they are just rude. I regret even giving them a cent. I went in to buy a pastry as I walk around the city. It’s a cafe you are allowed to do that. At first, the guy was nice but at the end of check out, he asked if I was paying with cash or card. I am sorry that tourists sometimes have to rely on card and the establishment of excepts it so I’m not sure why he was complaining so much that I was paying in card. If it was a problem he could’ve just asked for cash only. He then went off in Italian in a way that made me feel so uncomfortable. He started to talk to another customer about me who could see I was uncomfortable, but seemed like he was going along with it. I don’t know if he was a local or what. I’m considered nice and overly accommodating was not even near anyone or bothering anyone but I was shook. I would never come here and honestly why give your precious vacation savings to towns that don’t appreciate it- Italy relies on tourists be kinder to other people. And I’m confused on why these waiters think they own the town or the restaurant even if they’re disgruntled with her lives, don’t take it out on other people. You are in the service industry you were supposed to be nice I am also in the service industry I don’t ruin people’s days for no reason. Seeing the other negative reviews was not surprising for me at all based on my experience

18/02/2024: Pranzo della Domenica! Antipasto all’italiana ricco di tanti salumi, ma il formaggio una bontà unica; due assaggi di primi: trofie con mollica e peperone crusco, voto 8 ma gli agnolotti ai porcini meritano un 10 e lode; come secondo salame e capocollo buoni ma anche la tagliata si può assaggiare. Abbiamo saltato la frutta ma i dolci ci hanno fatto chiudere con squisitezza questo pranzo! Ottima qualità prezzo e da provare anche una pizza! Buon appetito!

16/07/2023: Bad service. Bad food. They charge €2.50 per person to sit at a table. Go anywhere else for a better meal. Pasta was undercooked and expensive. I asked for some pepper and had to ask again 5min after as the waiter clearly forgot and was serving their next victim. We paid €45 for two bowls of pasta and two glasses of wine. AVOID

29/12/2023: ...vasta scelta di pizze gourmet e particolari...come pure gli antipasti. Ho preso patate fritte con peperoni cruschi...buoni ma non ottimi.La pizza ottima e leggera. Non mi è piaciuto il locale un po' freddo e isolati e parcheggio molto piccolo, tanti clienti hanno parcheggio sulla strada Prezzi un pochino alti,... abbiamo pagato sui 25 €. 1 pizza patatine e birra

03/10/2023: Posto molto accogliente. Cibo di ottima qualità. Ottimi i tagliolini al pomodoro. Buono il servizio. Da consigliare. 😋😋

16/09/2023: We stopped the local police and asked them where the best food was and they sent us here! Ate inside, very charming, pasta was excellent! I had simple spaghetti with tomato sauce and pesto, Tom had zucchini pasta and both were delicious! Service was excellent! I would highly recommend a stop in!
