03/06/2025: An experience to do, when you enter this place you perceive the charm and the history, the Piarist cloister with a real chapel inside is amazing, Antonio is an excellent host, he welcomes you as if he had been your friend forever. His dishes are typical and cooked with the products of his countryside. The thing that fascinated me a lot is that he showed us his entire restaurant and also the kitchen where his mother is and immediately you feel the warmth of home. His place is very elegant and full of small details, truly a gem. His tasty dishes, rediscover the true flavors and well presented. Congratulations to Antonio, his sister and his mother. 25/05/2025: La bettola is one of those places dear to me. Located in the center of Specchia, a magical place, it is a certainty. The host is an exquisite person, and every time we dine there, he never misses a beat. Extraordinary meats, a point of reference for the area and beyond. In my opinion, I would easily put it on the podium of the taverns/restaurants in Italy that have meat as their strong point. Top. Absolutely worth the trip. Like very popular places, the experience is undoubtedly better on days when there is no overcrowding. But it still remains a certainty, solid as a rock.

13/04/2025: It's not just a simple Steak House, it's an experience. Impeccable service, all the guys are attentive and scrupulous. They describe dishes and ingredients with very high level preparation. I lived for some time between Florence and Prato and I always struggled to find a place that treated meat well here, where fish reigns supreme. We ate an excellent Finnish sashi, excellently prepared, perfectly cooked, every bite always brought out a new flavour. Obviously, the tartare with gorgonzola cream and the welcome entree must also be mentioned, which was a pleasant surprise. I'm a little sorry I didn't come earlier, but it's not easy to find a place on the weekend. I've known Matteo since school, he's really doing a great job! Great respect for having had the courage and resourcefulness to carry out such a project! See you soon!

08/06/2025: The place is beautiful and characteristic, even if it doesn't seem very accessible to me... The good premises of the place were not fully satisfied by the presence of a rat that was walking undisturbed on the electric wires, with light bulbs to illuminate the tables, right above the heads of the customers... Sitting down for dinner. I fully understand the situation, but it shouldn't happen... The pizzas seemed to be tasty, but the grill left much to be desired: cold and quantitatively limited. They brought us fried food twice... A sign of poor communication and organization, despite the technology used... Let's say that it would be worth trying again to understand, rat aside, if the experience was linked to a particular evening, a one-off, or if it is a deep-rooted attitude. We need to give it another chance!!! Highly recommended the -rat dinner- to enjoy a moment of shivering along the spine.

08/05/2025: The place was very beautiful, with a magical atmosphere. In the warm evening the table was positioned in the cool garden. It had been recommended to me by a friend and celebrating my wife's name day was an opportunity to experience it. We decided to eat a pizza, having seen a wood-fired oven. My wife, like my daughter, had a buffalo pizza with crusts stuffed with ricotta, my son had a crudo with burratina, the girl had a porcini mushroom and a capocollo with crusts stuffed with ricotta... We ordered 2 bottles of water and 3 bottles of coca cola and a portion of frittini, according to the waiter, enough for 5... The drinks were just right... the portion of frittini was arrived immediately...but it was just a taste (3/4 pittule, a meatball, 2 goodies of arancino each) but then we had to wait for the requested pizzas, clear or undercooked...which arrived after more than an hour of waiting, burnt.....crunchy, difficult to cut (the knives perhaps not very suitable) to say not to my taste...I wasn't looking for Neapolitan pizza... But at least not biscuits...the drinks in the meantime and seen the waiting and the heat had become hot. A disaster. The staff was not very attentive and lacked information. I asked several times for the timing, the answers took a few minutes and they arrived.....my daughter left all the pizza behind, she was no longer hungry. The bill 90 euros. The room is not worth the pizza, especially for our tastes. We will try it as a restaurant... hoping to be luckier..
