03/02/2025: Very welcoming place with attention to detail. Four of us had dinner and had the pleasure of enjoying excellent appetizers, with local dishes and local raw materials. We were served directly by the owner, Antonio. An exquisite person, dedicated to his work which, one can immediately perceive, he carries out with great passion. We will definitely be back.

29/01/2025: Locale carino , personale gentile e affabile.carne che a me sinceramente non e’ piaciuta, cottura non esilarante. La carne era molto cotta, tanto che risultava secca e insapore. Dalla foto infatti la carne risulta avere tutta lo stesso colore. I prezzi sarebbero anche buoni, ma la quantità della carne e’ misera e la qualità a me non e’ piaciuta particolarmente. Anche le patatine fritte erano dure.Io ho preso una grigliata mista. Dispiace per che il proprietario e’ stato davvero gentile e simpatico, ci ha anche offerto gli amari

05/01/2025: What can I say! Come and eat at this grill and you won't go wrong! I met her a long time ago, and when I want to eat well and spend the right amount, I always come here! Here I feel at home...well served, everyone with a smile, excellent food and well prepared dishes...a clean, welcoming environment! Not a negative note... I brought my friends from outside to be on the safe side! And in just a few minutes, you arrive in Leuca! The delicious bombettes, in addition to the tenderness, also the balance of flavours... but in my opinion, the main dish, which I always order, are the pork ribs cooked 24 hours... Served with a broth that adds even more flavor the tenderness of the meat! Every time I go there I always get it, and it always tastes exactly the same! 27/12/2024: We went for lunch on December 27th and were thrilled! We enjoyed a truly excellent fried fish, with very fresh squid and prawns with an exquisite flavour. The octopus salad was seasoned to perfection with a wonderful balance of oil and vinegar. A special mention goes to the swordfish parmigiana, a surprising dish, tasty and cooked to perfection. Our little girl was also satisfied with a breaded chicken cutlet and french fries: a generous and quality portion, definitely appreciated. The place is welcoming, with around 10 indoor tables and other outdoor seats, ideal for all seasons. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, and the cook, with her passion and professionalism, made our experience unique. The spirit of family management is clearly perceived, which combines warmth and strong dedication to work. Congratulations to all the staff! We will definitely be back.❤️

13/01/2025: Da evitare, una vera e propria “BETTOLA” con dei prezzi assurdi per il valore del locale e per la quantità del cibo. Pasta a loro dire fatta in casa, scotta con poco condimento e quantità misera. Titolari arroganti, tranne il padre che si è mostrato molto gentile. Se proprio volete trascorrere una giornata a Specchia vi consiglio il Ristorante la Coppuledda che si trova a pochi passi da questa vera e propria BETTOLA. Titolare gentilissimo e simpatico, locale molto carino e prezzi onestissimi.

It seems that time has not affected the passion and quality of this place, the preparation of dishes that speak of tradition and flavors of our land. Pericle and his staff are always friendly and helpful, as well as welcoming you with a smile. If you pass through Specchia, pay a visit.

25/01/2025: Excellent grilled meat, succulent, tasty, perfectly cooked, plenty even for 3 people. We also got the really really really good chicken wings!! Side dish of very good baked potatoes and homemade mixed fried starter. Until next time !

17/01/2025: Excellent butcher's shop. The best cuts of meat and many ready-to-cook specialties. Expertly managed by Graziano, an expert, kind and professional. If you want quality you have to try it. For me, living in Campi, it's a little out of the way but I'll go back as soon as I can.

09/02/2025: I went back after a few years and I won't be back for many more. They reserved an uncomfortable table for us, with the music speakers and TV on. We asked if it was possible to change tables and the lady we spoke to told us that it wasn't possible because the only table for 4 had been reserved for an elderly person. A huge lie, since after 10 minutes 4 people who were anything but elderly sat down. The portion of chips was indecent compared to the cost. Maybe 10 chips counted on the plate, for the cost of 7 euros (with pecorino fondue paid separately for 1.50). Pizzas arrived after 45 minutes (but we had been warned)... in any case, not particularly tasty. The house dessert was presented as a tart, while we were served a layer of shortcrust pastry with jam, which in fact could not be called a tart. Again, the portion was very ungenerous compared to the price. The place is very nice, it's a shame the substance is missing. Yet it doesn't take much to make customers come back.

19/01/2025: I wanted to find a quiet place to have lunch in peace with my partner and while searching on Google this place immediately caught my eye and I must say that I chose well.... in fact the place is really quiet and even though it was full "no one shouted" as often happens in crowded places. We ate with good quality products cooked just right and with portions in the right quantity, the girls were very kind and therefore everything was perfect I will definitely be back many times for both lunch and dinner. Oh I forgot the price is right too I invite you all to try it and you will surely be satisfied.

17/01/2025: I am happy to eat simple homemade pasta with lots of oily sauce because this is what homemade means too. But both the portions and the price are of a higher level restaurant. However, I didn't like the house starters, 6 very tasteless hot courses, perhaps the worst I've ever eaten. The fries are better. Paying 20 euros for 6 saucers of poorly cooked stuff is simply unheard of. Excellent meat, limoncello offered, friendly and professional waiters, very nice atmosphere. But the prices are simply disproportionate to the quality of the food.
