03/06/2025: An experience to do, when you enter this place you perceive the charm and the history, the Piarist cloister with a real chapel inside is amazing, Antonio is an excellent host, he welcomes you as if he had been your friend forever. His dishes are typical and cooked with the products of his countryside. The thing that fascinated me a lot is that he showed us his entire restaurant and also the kitchen where his mother is and immediately you feel the warmth of home. His place is very elegant and full of small details, truly a gem. His tasty dishes, rediscover the true flavors and well presented. Congratulations to Antonio, his sister and his mother. 12/06/2025: High-end restaurant with quality table service, TV in the room that shows the kitchen, friendliness. In my opinion, there is also a lot of scene, specifically I'll give a practical example: At the start of the service the cutlery is placed on a plate that keeps it suspended and never touches the table. They are placed with tongs so as not to touch them. Well, fantastic! But why then do you say it's all scene? Well, simple. Between one course and another, for a change of plate, or change of knife, the waiters touch cutlery or glasses with their hands, ruining everything done before. Apart from these little things (we're talking about a cover charge of €5) very high quality meat with special dishes that are difficult to find elsewhere. It is certainly an experience to do for meat lovers.

19/06/2025: What can I say? Sit down, be quiet, breathe in the aroma in the room and read the menu presentation. An original idea that those over 40 feel transported back to the beautiful memories of the past. At the moment the best grill I have tried in Lecce. The Place is not very big but it is very pretty, quiet and tidy. One of the first things that catches the eye is the courtesy of the waiting staff who appear to be in the style of "old times" i.e. low tone and a lot of education. Moving on to the food... then we started with the baked potato. I don't know if it depends on the quality or the period but I have never eaten a potato like this. Tasty, creamy, buttery... cooked to perfection, always ordered in other places but never this good. As for the meat I give it a 10 and praise here too. Here it is not about stuffing yourself and swallowing .. (as is done in other places) here the meat has a flavor all of its own .. I was struck by the flavor of a slice of Argentine Angus .. and the goodness of a "classic sausage" probably the quality of the meat is also rewarded by cooking on the REAL grill. To finish the dessert .. a Catalan cream (I don't want to be wrong) but it was a dessert Arrived with the flame to allow for the creation of a delicious crust.

23/06/2025: Special inn, you come in and order what you want directly at the butcher's counter and then it is served to you at the table ready to be eaten!!! We had bombette, straccetti, livers, hamburgers really really delicious, as an entree they bring you bruschetta and pinzimonio!!!! You should book, otherwise no meat 🤤😉😎See you next time

26/06/2025: Excellent pizza, well leavened, crispy despite the "edge" that I don't like but in this case exquisite. Digestible, various options and then not just pizza. Price corresponding to the quality. Only disappointment: too much waiting for the pizza at the table at least 45 minutes from the order

25/06/2025: If you come here it is for the meat and the hamburgers. Although the choice is not wide it offers high quality at an affordable price. The portions are large. The pizza is also excellent

02/07/2025: I order grilled cuttlefish and a plate arrives with an old, dry and hard cuttlefish measuring 4 cm x 4 cm, I'm not kidding. I was ashamed for them for the beauty of € 18, but can you make such a fool of yourself in Salento???? I don't have a photo because I was ashamed for them.

01/07/2025: Hello today we enjoyed an excellent fried fish decorated for takeaway but made at the moment..to preserve all its crunchiness...Excellent I would say.. Paid € 16.00 for 400 grams of good fish.. Thanks to those who work every day to be able to guarantee us consumers an optimal service.

25/06/2025: I had read some negative reviews... I almost gave up... instead I had a good time, you eat outside in the historic center, the staff is kind and for what we ate everything was good. The prices are NOT exaggerated. Must try.

We had dinner the first time discovering unforgettable flavors, they use quality products that they know how to treat well. So we returned a second time to try other things on the menu in addition to the desserts, everything spectacular. Really good, thanks to the owner and the staff really kind and exquisite for allowing us to end this family vacation like this. ♥️

24/01/2025: Great welcome and great food. We had meatballs with sauce, parmigiana, pizza, mixed roast and baked potatoes. All very good! The guys in the room were very polite and kind. Minimum waiting times even though it was full and packed and there were also pizzas to take away

12/06/2025: Sono stata in questo locale per una cena tra amici la scorsa settimana e sono rimasta sbalordita dalla bontà del mio panino (nello specifico un Tasty Burger), senz'altro uno dei migliori che abbia mangiato a Lecce! Ci tornerò senz'altro per provarne altri

08/06/2025: The place is beautiful and characteristic, even if it doesn't seem very accessible to me... The good premises of the place were not fully satisfied by the presence of a rat that was walking undisturbed on the electric wires, with light bulbs to illuminate the tables, right above the heads of the customers... Sitting down for dinner. I fully understand the situation, but it shouldn't happen... The pizzas seemed to be tasty, but the grill left much to be desired: cold and quantitatively limited. They brought us fried food twice... A sign of poor communication and organization, despite the technology used... Let's say that it would be worth trying again to understand, rat aside, if the experience was linked to a particular evening, a one-off, or if it is a deep-rooted attitude. We need to give it another chance!!! Highly recommended the -rat dinner- to enjoy a moment of shivering along the spine.

08/06/2025: Prenotiamo alle 22,00 un tavolo. Cameriera,gentile,ordiniamo una pizza (buona), un frittino misto (una ventina di pittule, 4 polpettine al formaggio, 4 di carne e 2 arancini di riso in bianco, tutto mignon... € 10....erano pieni d'olio. Pizza buona....e adesso viene il pezzo forte; una grigliata di carne con un ciuffo di insalata tutta NERA e marcia. Carne con paprica dolce (petto di pollo) e il resto tutto secco e immangiabile, anche perché non era alla griglia, ma cotta in forno (non so per quanto tempo. Cambiate mestiere.

03/06/2025: We had lunch on Sunday by chance as we were passing through. The food was divine, the orecchiette with horse sauce were exceptional. Excellent capocollo and burratina, broad beans and chicory and the chickpea soup.

29/06/2025: Excellent service, delicious appetizers and pizzas, the meat disappointed me a bit, but there were many of us and the sperlunghe in the middle maybe don't do it justice. To come back and try again, definitely
