22/08/2025: Il Punto Cardinale and its extremely friendly team have now become our culinary must-visit whenever we're in Monopoli. We all thoroughly enjoy the wonderful, freshly prepared dishes, including the delicious bread (which is also homemade!), and the very friendly service! We will definitely be back and wish the entire team all the best and thank you so much for the wonderful, delicious evenings!

05/09/2025: The restaurant is located in a quaint and meticulously maintained setting, with an intimate and refined atmosphere. The menu features traditional dishes from the lower Salento region, such as stuffed eggplant, spaghetti with turnips, municheddhe (land snails), and paparina, as well as an excellent selection of dry-aged meats. All the vegetables and greens used come from the owner's garden, and this truly makes a difference on the palate. In short, Chiostro degli Scolopi is an essential stop for anyone wishing to experience the flavors of Salento's tradition.

04/09/2025: We had dinner two nights ago. Antonio welcomed us into a familiar yet unpretentious atmosphere. The restaurant is housed in a former convent, with outdoor tables overlooking the cloister, but we ended up taking a tour of the interior, which is well worth a visit. The food was simple but high-quality, with great attention to the ingredients; it was tasty and delicious. The service was friendly but never intrusive. Antonio was very cheerful, friendly, and discreet. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: Four of us went to this place last night, which we've been wanting to try for a while. We arrived, were seated, and waited about 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. Since it was our first time there, we didn't know that it's a make-your-own order. We called someone at least to ask for water, and they told us that you can order yourself with a QR code. It would be nice to tell people this as soon as they arrive, since some of them are going for the first time, like us. We got a pinsa and four burritos for around €80. Luckily, the quality was there; everything was good, but we expected more. The dish was plain, the burrito just thrown on the plate, without any fries, without anything. It's the little things that make the difference. For the price of the burrito, I'd throw two fries or a leaf of lettuce on the plate. A word of advice: maybe they can improve on this 😉

26/08/2025: Every time we return to Puglia, we stop at Bubba. The atmosphere is beautiful and well-kept, the staff is incredibly friendly, and above all, the food is delicious. Everything from pizza to sandwiches to meat is delicious.

I'm not giving it five stars because the prices are slightly above average, but this is now a common theme among all the restaurants in Salento. 05/07/2025: Location semplice ed accogliente, con comodi spazi sia interni che esterni . Ad accoglierci la simpatia ed affabilità di Roberto e Valeria, padroni di casa. Proposta gastronomica con vasto assortimento di antipasti, pizze, primi, secondi ed eccellente carta di carni e carpacci. Buona carta vini. Ottima la qualità, servizio pronto e cortese. 02/07/2025: Locale carino, personale di sala e proprietari molto gentili ed accoglienti. Abbiamo iniziato la cena con degli ottimi arrosticini di falda, mentre gli arrosticini di picanha sono risultati più duretti. Buone le pizze con varie farciture, ed ottimo il ciccio. Il ristorante offre la possibilità di assaggiare vari tipi di carni, buone. Ottimo anche il carpaccio misto di carni. Questo locale è un'ottima soluzione per chi vuole mangiare pizza o carne. Complimenti ai proprietari ed alla signorina Martina che ci ha veramente trattato come dei familiari. Prezzi ottimi, materie prime anche.

30/08/2025: We've been coming to this place often. The biggest change is the quality of the food, but the prices are high. We were very disappointed with the change in both the self-service and the quality of the food. They should remember that this is a place for children and that, at least when it comes to food, quality shouldn't be lacking.

07/09/2025: The place is nice, the meat is good, but as you can see from the photos posted in other reviews, the bombette and livers look burned. In reality, it's probably even worse: the bottom of the grill, which wasn't clean, has stuck to it. And you can tell by the flavor.

07/09/2025: Macelleria Braceria is located in the center of a small square decorated specifically for the grill, so it's a wonderful setting. The service is practically lightning-fast, courteous, and helpful. The raw material, namely the MEAT... Delicious, cooked just as well... The prices are absolutely fair, indeed, affordable for everyone... So it's a prime example... I had a great time, I ate well, and I didn't spend a fortune... So, completely satisfied, and for this reason, I will definitely return soon, perhaps with just as many friends.

01/09/2025: I went to Giacuda Braceria last Saturday with friends. The place is open-air, very spacious, and welcoming. We had meat: really good, well-cooked, and of high quality. It was the last day of opening before the holidays, so the selection was limited, but the staff was still friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back to try the full menu when it reopens.

Excellent value, too. An ideal place for those who love good food and want to spend a pleasant evening. Highly recommended!
