04/02/2025: Piccolo ristorante a due passi da piazza Gae Aulenti. Staff super gentile e preparatissimo; si vede che fanno questo lavoro con tutta la loro passione. Carne veramente super tenera e accompagnata da salsine deliziose. Buona lista di vini anche di piccoli produttori locali. Sicuramente da consigliare. Complimenti ai gestori !!!

The walls and shelves will bring back memories of many of Zanetti's footballing achievements (at the entrance there is a huge display of his sports shoes). The quality of the food is really high, there is a wide range of wines to choose from. A walk in the neighborhood is also recommended, one of the most historic in Milan.

20/02/2025: Yesterday, I decided to try this Argentine restaurant in Milan. I had been recommended the porteño for dinner as it is one of the best Argentine restaurants in the city, but I decided to give this place a chance, but I can tell you that it is not worth it. I decided to go on foot to get to know the city and enjoy Milan, so I made a long walk from the Piazza del Duomo, arriving at the place at around 10:30 pm when the website clearly says that it closes at midnight and as soon as I arrived I asked very kindly where I could sit for dinner and a group of workers sitting at a table in a very bad manner, without even looking at me and laughing amongst themselves told me that the kitchen was closed, which I replied that it was impossible because the place closed at midnight and a very arrogant and mocking guy told me that today "they had decided to close the kitchen earlier" without giving any kind of notice or explanation beyond that apathetic and snobby response from the staff. NOT TO COME BACK!

Il locale è moderno ed accogliente, il personale è stato professionale e cortese e abbiamo mangiato proprio bene; abbiamo preso due diverse tartare, molto buone, saporite e presentate molto bene e della catalogna ripassata. Ci torneremo sicuramente per assaggiare altre specialità. Bravi, lo consiglio

In short, nothing that justifies the prices of a starred restaurant in the center of Milan. If it had prices in line I would go back. Not so.

20/01/2025: Ci siamo stati perché l avevo vista tempo fa in un programma tv. Soddisfatto pienamente. La prossima volta che siamo a Milano ci torniamo sicuramente.

01/12/2024: Ho provato questa macelleria con la speranza di trovare finalmente dell’ottima carne a Milano. Tuttavia le mie aspettative sono state deluse. Premetto che siamo abituati ad acquistare la carne in Piemonte, dato che abbiamo parenti che abitano lì. Qui ho chiesto della carne da mangiare cruda, ma forse credendo che non fossi abbastanza furbo da capirlo, mi è stata data della carne da ragù. Mi sono sentito preso in giro. Ho anche provato alcune delle loro tartare, l’albese, che di albese non ha nulla, ma avendole acquistate la sera la carne sembrava già quasi andata a male. La volta precedente avevo chiesto se avessero della carne da fare ai ferri di vitellone e il macellaio ha preso in mano un pezzo di carne di vitello. Anche qui mi sono sentito preso in giro, ma ho avuto la prontezza di farlo notare. Non male la carne bianca, però cercherò un’altra macelleria in città.

09/02/2025: Da quando abbiamo scoperto "The Brisket", ci torniamo sempre volentieri appena capita l’occasione. Per noi è una garanzia, sia per la qualità del cibo che per l’atmosfera del locale. Anche stavolta abbiamo prenotato facilmente dal loro sito per domenica 1 dicembre. Arrivati puntuali alle 13:30, ci hanno fatto accomodare accanto alla vetrina. Il locale era pieno, segno che, nonostante gli anni, la qualità resta alta. Appena seduti, ci portano il solito cestino con vari tipi di pane e una ciotolina di formaggio alle erbe spalmabile (sempre molto apprezzata). Di solito prendiamo sempre le stesse cose, quando una cosa è buona, perché cambiare? e infatti abbiamo ordinato: "Bone Marrow", un midollo gratinato con tartare di manzo... spettacolare, super saporito. "Brisket Empanadas", panzerotti ripieni di brisket, caldi e croccanti al punto giusto. Come piatto principale, ho preso il classico "Brisket", cotto low & slow alla texana, perfetto come sempre. Mia moglie invece ha scelto le "Pork Ribs", costine di maiale in salsa BBQ: tenerissime, si staccavano dall’osso da sole. Per accompagnare, una "Coleslaw" (insalata di cavolo rosso, fresca e croccante) e i "Fagioli Texani", belli saporiti grazie al bacon. Da bere solo acqua, poi abbiamo chiuso con due caffè e un "Brownie al caramello salato". Qui l’unica nota un po’ stonata: il dolce era troppo secco, mi aspettavo qualcosa di più umido e goloso. Personale gentile e veloce, sempre col sorriso. Conto di poco più di 100 euro, assolutamente in linea con la qualità e l’esperienza. Già non vediamo l’ora di tornare!😊

21/02/2025: Family dinner with children, I was pleasantly surprised by the very familiar atmosphere and the very welcoming, fast, prepared and above all "very easy-going" service. The prices are in line with the prices of Milan, all in all not excessive. We ate empanadas, Argentine cuts and obviously dessert. A beautiful experience. Really good.
