19/11/2025: Top-notch meat! What can I say! It's the perfect place when you're craving a meat feast. Truly excellent, perfectly cooked, and flavorful even when not salted. The sides aren't bad either, but you come here exclusively for the meat 🥩 🍖 The only real flaw is the odors that permeate you, which shouldn't be underestimated, especially in fall and winter! It's really annoying to have your coat, clothes, and hair smelling of food. Well, maybe in the summer... when everything is open, it gets adequate ventilation... In my opinion, and inconvenience, I won't set foot here again. I really think adequate ventilation shouldn't be underestimated. The best ones should be made every now and then.

17/10/2025: I had lunch at Taverna dei Sapori on October 17th and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff is qualified, friendly, and always attentive to customer needs. A special thanks to the cashier, a very thorough, professional, and friendly person: she made a great impression on me, as did the quality of the food, which was excellent.

14/11/2025: A typical trattoria near the Fondazione Prada, I had lunch here by chance with some colleagues. What can I say? The atmosphere is typical of a trattoria, as is the excellent service. Everything on the menu is inviting, but then there's the star: the unexpected gorgonzola and leek pizza. Toward the end of the meal, we see it ubiquitous on every table; the host approaches us and tells us he'll make it on the fly if we want. How could I say no? I assure you, it's an experience you shouldn't miss. Congratulations!
21/10/2025: Upon entering Taverna Calabiana, you immediately feel welcome. The warm welcome and the restaurant's most beautiful table set the tone for a wonderful evening. Although we don't speak Italian, that wasn't a problem at all—the menu is available in several languages, and the staff takes the time to carefully explain everything. What truly stands out is the passion for the craft. This radiates not only from the team but also in every dish. The chef deserves a deep bow—each plate was a small work of art, bursting with flavor, warmth, and passion. We were simply enchanted by the dishes and the atmosphere. Taverna Calabiana isn't just a recommendation… it's an experience you'll remember.

09/11/2025: To reserve a table, a deposit of €40 per person is required, which I find completely inappropriate. I understand that respect is required from customers and that some rude people make reservations without showing up, but respect must be mutual. It's not customary to impose such conditions simply for sitting down at a table. Furthermore, asking each customer to provide credit card information for a simple reservation could also pose a security issue. I've been to this restaurant before, even though I don't consider myself a regular, but under these conditions, I won't be returning. No big deal: my companions and I "fell back" at a higher-end restaurant, which didn't ask for a deposit and welcomed us with a much better spirit.
08/11/2025: We were at Braseria last night! Four friends left Genoa with high expectations and returned home full of excitement! The place is very cute, the kitchen is open and the refrigerators are displayed right at the entrance to the room. The staff is young, friendly, approachable, unobtrusive, but always on point! On the advice of the head waiter, we ordered a selection of mixed appetizers (each better than the last...), a 1.7kg beef ribeye, and a selection of BBQ appetizers. But not content with that, we added another beef ribeye, about 1.2kg! And then, of course, dessert! I don't want to go on and on, I'll just say that everything was excellent! The meat was AMAZING, and a special mention goes to the giardiniera and a couple of truly sublime appetizers! What I particularly liked was the fact that we were NOT asked to cook the meat. And I totally agree with that, because they are the professionals and they know how to cook meat! The only downside...the wine cellar. In my opinion, there's little selection and little research into the product. I'm obviously talking about the mid- to low-end labels, say €25 to €45, which are the ones I can afford. If you go higher, you'll find top-notch wines, but they're clearly well beyond the average customer's budget. Total price €750.00, which I find absolutely proportionate to what we ate and drank!

Incidentally, the three of us who ordered them were found to be burnt and had to throw them away. I pointed out the situation to him, but nothing. The moral of the story was that he wanted them paid for without even providing a receipt.

18/11/2025: Awful restaurant, good only for tourists, where they pass off a carpaccio of meat as tagliata, cooked haphazardly, with horrible side dishes and super cheap, anxious, and aggressive staff. Ugh. Given the restaurant owner's response, I'd add that those round slices of meat were like a wafer, and since they come from who knows what cut of meat, they don't even know what a tagliata is. Continuing to write the same response to everyone who criticizes you won't make it the truth.
07/11/2025: Historic and timeless. The chatouebriand is truly delicious, and the pork with crispy rind is incredibly delicious ❤️❤️❤️ The service is excellent, attentive, and friendly.

18/10/2025: The first two times we came here we ate well, today Saturday they made a pizza that was not good, practically raw, the table we had reserved was given to someone else and the person who served us was not very kind. The only thing they did was not charge us for my pizza. So I didn't ask for ice but my husband did. I asked for the ice afterwards because if the Coke is not exactly cold I only know when I taste it. The first two times we came we had a really good time, today not even for the service.
12/10/2025: Really too slow. Good but not exceptional food, overpriced (except for the pizzas). Cold atmosphere. Above all, though, they're incredibly slow.

The Florentine steak was very good, as were the side dishes (baked potatoes and vegetables). The baked berry cheesecake was delicious. Recommended, but the prices are high.

09/11/2025: The staff was busy chatting among themselves, and the service was slow, if not completely absent (not only did I notice it, but so did all the customers at the tables next to mine). I work in the restaurant business myself, and seeing service like this was disappointing. It's not the first time I've eaten here, but it might be the last. I asked for ace or pear juice as per the menu, but apparently they didn't have any, and I wasn't given an alternative. I ordered Cheyenne chicken: the chicken flavor left much to be desired, but the real problem was the rock-hard bacon, inedible; I left it. The food is usually good, and the staff is attentive and fast, so I hope you resolve this.

05/11/2025: Never again. I had a kebab sandwich with fries included (and non-substitutable!!!!), water and coffee for €21.10!!! For lunch! How did we manage, in just a few years, to go from a full restaurant menu for €10-12 to this meager and decidedly unhealthy lunch for double the price?!? And the taste...really nothing special (kebab sandwich!!!!!), but on the other hand I must have eaten 400 grams of salt! Even the nachos with the sauce on top....from memory I don't think I've ever eaten anything saltier in my life!!! Are they crazy? But then, if I ask you to give me some chopped tomatoes instead of fries...what the hell? And the TV on full blast, with tennis? Come on, really pathetic. I usually don't give reviews unless it's absolutely impossible for me not to, as in this case. Sure, I chose the wrong dish, but also the wrong place, you can't even see me with binoculars. Goodbye
18/10/2025: The only positive aspect of the place is the always friendly and smiling staff. The food, on the other hand, doesn't at all match either the prices or the brand name.
