12/09/2025: We visited this restaurant, and although the food was decent (we ate meat), We had booked through The Fork, confident we'd received the 50% discount as advertised on the app. Only when we received the bill were we informed that the promotion had been canceled two days earlier, without any prior notice from them. The result: we ended up paying €350 instead of €175, and according to the manager, it wasn't their problem. I find this behavior improper and unprofessional: if you accept a reservation with certain conditions, the customer shouldn't be left in the dark until it's time to pay. In conclusion, decent food but poor management: a disappointing experience, we won't be returning and we strongly advise against it.

09/09/2025: Americans here! 👋 First time in Italy, just doing Rome this trip. We were told the food in Italy was outstanding, but we struggled to find something different but authentic Italian. We stumbled across this place, and it is AMAZING! It was so good the first night, we craved it and went back 2 days later. The owner waited on our table, he is a very kind gentlemen and pleasant to talk to! He really knows his food and wine! He is passionate about his restaurant which shows in the top quality service, well-kept establishment, and the quality of the food!! Im not one to leave reviews, but I am telling you that you have to eat here! The poached egg appetizer is to die for and the filet mignon was arguably one of the best Ive ever had! (And I've had a lot of steak from famous restaurants) my mother and I shared a lot of our food and they split it up for us. My mother's favorite was the black truffle risotto.

28/09/2025: I went last Saturday for my nephew's baptism... after a long time since I'd been, Fabrizio, always the best, stay here. They've known you since I was a child and your menus are always excellent, the welcome and customer service are always super. I'll post some photos.

27/09/2025: I had a waiter with a helpful smile. The food was very good. A guarantee. A small tip: if I order fish that I pay by the kilo, it should be weighed in front of me. Overall, everything was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

15/10/2025: The old tavern is always a guarantee. I've returned here after years, and the food remains just as good. Sure, the prices used to be more affordable, but considering the quality of the meat, you're paying a fair price. Recommended.

13/10/2025: The tavern is located in the center of Viterbo. The interior is striking, all stone. The menu is almost entirely meat-based, from every type and source. We ordered a medium-rare tagliata (rather tough for my taste), chicory (decent), baked potatoes (good), and desserts (good). The place quickly fills with the smell of meat, which lingers in the room, probably because there's insufficient ventilation. The staff was rather brusque and unsympathetic, one young woman in particular. The quality/price ratio was decent.

07/09/2025: A great insider tip! Great Italian restaurant! You wouldn't even notice it if you drove past. We went there twice during our vacation. The atmosphere is fantastic! It's very cozy and decorated with attention to detail. The food is very high quality and very reasonably priced. There's a very large wine selection. The service is very friendly, which was resolved with Google Translate despite some language difficulties. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful evening. 07/10/2025: The restaurant is good, boasting a lovely grill where delicious meat is cooked. The rooms are spacious but a bit dated, and a little more attention to cleanliness wouldn't hurt. The location is convenient because it's close to the Magliano Sabina highway exit, but since they face the highway, the rooms are quite noisy (impossible to sleep with the window open). Overall, it's quite expensive for the quality offered.

10/09/2025: Located just steps from the famous Cicerone Tower. Excellent, well-prepared food, efficient staff, and a green setting. Ample parking and a playground for the little ones.

30/08/2025: I expected a location more in keeping with its geographical location. The food was average, and the waiters were friendly and helpful. Parking was great... modest prices. I recommend stopping by for a meal.

17/09/2025: Sausages were overcooked, dry, steaks acceptable, but cooked fairly roughly. The requested medium-rare steak arrived practically blue (cold inside) and almost burned on the outside. Service was fairly courteous, the Cessna wine acceptable. Acceptable. Overall costs, in my opinion, were disproportionate. The steak was cheap, but two fried meatballs were also dry. It was 10 euros, rather than a large cheese platter with sweet provolone, a very good aged pecorino, and a young pecorino from the supermarket. It cost another 10 euros, also because the order was for a small, dry sausage with a small piece of cheese. The sausage was actually there and paid for separately. The cheese platter would have been returned, but it was my fault. I had too high expectations...
